Worth it. Ive had my kraken X since january but the finally snapped. Got these bad boys for $40 and its a huge upgrade. It doesnt sound washed and too high on highs etc. Sounds clear plus the volume knob. Mic sounds even more clearer. Blacksharks the best headset hands down. Defnitely would cop the Pros if I had $200

At first i thought the mic would be bad but when i tried it with my friends on discord they said that this is the first time they hear my voice loud and clear so i am very impressed and also the sound itself is soo amazing when it comes to gaming and hearing everything around and at this price you can't ask for more.

Love this product, not too expensive and a great headset

Pretty solid headset that I used as a placeholder until I find a good wireless headset. This headset has been pretty good overall and the wire is pretty long too.

Comfortable and has great sound. Clarity is excellent

Clamps tight to your head which causes some sound isolation but also gets uncomfortable after a few hours. The mic is pretty clear and true to life, but it isn't easy to find a position if you'd like to take a sip of water between talking - you have to move it away and then move it back. Easy to hear directionality of footsteps and gunshots in games. Good quality, but overall could use some quality of life tweaks to make it better.

As I searched through current offerings, I found this model to be quite sufficient for PC gaming and Audio for watching online shows...has current 7.1 surround sound, comfortable ear padding and clear listen/talk communications and still will allow you to hear if someone calls you from another room in your home:):):)

Bought this after my previous headset stopped working, works way better than my previous one. Though, it was difficult to activate the surround sound software included.

Fits great, sounds great, and never had any comments on the mic (which is a good thing).

While the windows surround sound software is outdated, there are other compatible downloads. Even without different surround sound software the default windows and Xbox headphone software sounds Great! I really like the independent volume and mike control on the headphones
