The Razer BlackShark V2 X is a fantastic wired gaming headset. The sound quality is clear and immersive, with strong bass and crisp highs that make games, movies, and music all sound great. The cardioid microphone picks up my voice clearly and cuts down background noise, which is perfect for in-game chat and calls. It’s surprisingly lightweight and very comfortable, even during long gaming sessions. The memory foam ear cushions do a great job at blocking out external noise without making my ears feel hot. Compatibility is excellent—it works across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch without any setup hassle. Just plug it in and it’s ready to go. Overall, this headset delivers excellent performance for the price. If you want great audio, comfort, and a reliable mic in a simple wired setup, the BlackShark V2 X is a great choice.

I gave one of my headsets to my cousin, so a replacement was needed. I had a certificate to apply towrds a purchased and used ot on this item. There are better options but needed a good inexpensive headset. The reviews were good and a headset with an audio cable is fine with me. I like the knob that is used to control the volume over fumbling woth buttons in the dark. Its old school but still works great. There are minimal controls on the headset, so easy to use. The sound is fine for me. I have another headset that has bettet sound but that kne cost over $100. Im happy with my purchase. If you are looking for a good basic headset, this one will be a good choice.

A comfortable headset with a decent price. The quality is pretty good even if not the best on the market.

A little spotty with the connection and having to use 2 separate cords for the headset is a little annoying, but the volume dial and mute button that are built into the headset are incredibly convenient. The mic quality is good and the audio quality is pretty good. If you're looking for a headset to play video games with friends without putting a hole in your wallet, this is perfect.

its solid headset for the price when on sale really good padding for the price sounds great and mic is great but you cant adjust the headset in terms of size so its def better for smaller head sizes and the cable is a great cable but its a right angle cable really annoying when using a controller its easy to move the cable when setting at my desk for me though it meets my needs and its built to a price which I accepted if it works for you its great but if not I would buy something else just because of those two things

I like to have a headset with a 3.5 mm Jack so I don't have to change batteries. This is by far the most comfortable headset and is my second one only because I had the first for so long that side earmuffs wore out. Zero feedback is heard through party chat which is a problem with a lot of earbuds and other cheap headsets. Such a great value for the price. I would recommend to anybody who wants a wired headset.

Very forgiving ear pads stay comfortable for hours. Mic is actually pretty good and cord is plenty long. Haven't had any problems but I could see the thin wire connectors braking if kids beat on it.

After purchasing the Xbox Series X, I dove into researching headsets to play with family across the country. The decision between wireless and wired was tough, but for the sake of mic quality and never having to worry about charging, this Kraken headset became the clear winner. I watched countless mic tests online to make sure I wouldn't sound like I was underwater – and I'm happy to say, the mic on this headset is fantastic. My friends hear me crystal clear, no issues whatsoever. As someone with a larger head and bigger ears, comfort is key, and these ear cuffs don’t disappoint. They fit perfectly, offer excellent noise cancellation, and produce beautiful, crisp sound. I’ve even started using them for my streaming setup since they allow me to easily monitor my mic levels. The handy volume knob on the side is another great touch, keeping me immersed in the game without having to mess with speaker adjustments. Plus, the mic tucks up neatly when I’m not using it, and unlike other headsets with non-detachable mics, it doesn't look bulky on camera. This is my second Kraken headset for Xbox, and I’m definitely sticking with this brand!

Volume nice and clear. Comfortable on my ears light weight

I bought this to replace my Arctis 5 (which replaced my Kraken Pro V2) and love it already. The Blackshark is extremely lightweight and the cushion cups fit very snug around the ears to block out ambient noise (you wont hear your PC fans or a tv in the room at all with this headset on) This review is on the analog version, and the downloadable 7.1 software works great, though your mileage may very based on your own preference (I stick to just standard stereo for games) Overall this headset is perfect for anyone who wants great positioning sound in games on a lightweight frame.

For $50 before tax these are awesome lightweight headphones. The sound is great too with Razer's three part drivers delivering highs mids and lows. There are some nice rumbly subwoofer feels with certain sound effects. As a bonus it integrates with Razer's software on PC to provide accurate 7.1 representation in the headphones. There is no RGB but it is nice to see the headphones pop up as part of the Razer ecosystem. The mic sounds fine, it's not studio quality but it is clear. Speaking of, that is the only real con for a casual (but long sessions when I do) gamer such as myself. The mic doesn't detach. It bends every which way and doesn't feel like it's gonna break at all but it can get in the way for most daily use of no mic is required. Overall - comfortable for long periods, extremely lightweight, solid feeling build, excellent sound quality, adequate mic that doesn't detach, and integrates nicely with Razer software.

Really good value for the price. Especially if you get it on sale. Very lightweight, hardly notice they are on your head. Mic is OK but for the price it's hard to be unhappy with it, it's reasonable.

Absolutely the greatest quality for a first microphone/headset. Everything connects flawlessly, sounds great, and is comfortable for it's price. I haven't had a single issue so far and I highly recommend this if you're looking for a budget friendly headset. I use it for calls and gaming, works amazing.

Alright, by no means am I an audiophile, but this headset sounds amazing compared to the ones I had. I am coming from Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gen 1 and have gotten used to their features and sound; I had the Playstation version so those did not work for my new XSX. I originally picked up the Microsoft Wireless Xbox headset, but the sound was not great in my opinion. It sounded too sharp and the stereo field was not wide enough for my liking. I returned those and got this headset instead for a fraction of the price (at the time of this review, BestBuy has it priced at $35.99, and they sent me a $15 gift certificate to use on my next purchase), so in total, I got these for $20.99; not bad! They sound cleaner, crisp but not sharp, and well balanced! They are super comfortable to wear, I was surprised at how good they feel. If you are in the market for a good pair of wired headset, these are it! I like that it comes with an extension cord, and a carrying bag. I am not a Razer user!

These headphones have everything you need. The on headphone mute button can throw you off in the beginning but you definitely get used to it if you’re a muted microphone headphone user. Speaking to teammates is very clear. Gameplay is excellent. My last pair of headphones fell apart within 6 months of use but these have lasted the test of time
