I had the other keyboard just like this but, I wanted the one with the colors and more features.

This is a really great keyboard! I recommend this for anyone who is looking for an upgrade.

Works great for gaming and work. I work with computers for a living and i love to use mechanical keyboards. I plug my mouse into the side usb port, and it would be nice if it had a place to manage that cable.

The keys have an awesome feel and click sound. The keyboard works and you get a light show.

I am not a gamer but I wanted a lighted keyboard. I read several reviews and while this keyboard was extreme for my needs I am so pleased I made the purchase. The Razer software allows for many adjustments and the colors are amazing. Best Buy had it in stock and on sale.

I was using the keyboard that came with my computer so this is definitely a upgrade. I hadn't really looked into getting a keyboard it was a impulse buy. But worth the money. I love that it's customizable as well so I can change the colors depending on what game I play.

You're paying $40 more just for RGB lights and not for quality. I'd rather get a high quality build as a priority instead of lights, like the Corsair or even a Ducky Shine since Corsair has RGB and the Shine has RB which'll suffice with LEDs. This Chroma isn't worth it's price but it is decent since software is easy to use but not the Corsair software

Tactile and responsive with various customization options. However, this will not allow target display mode on the mac and function presets such as brightness and volume control are limited or inconsistent in nature and not addressed by the accompanying razer software.

I like the keyboard. The customization is fun. Takes a bit to get used to how the lightning effects need to work. Setting up functions for the keyboard is a bit interesting. Overall, keyboard is a solid buy.

This keyboard is absolutely beautiful and easy to use especially with its app Razer Synapse.

Nice Keys and Bright Colors. The absence of lighting behind the special characters is a real pain. At this price point I expected a wrist support and there was none. The font makes some characters confusing (& and @ especially). The software is very limited as to what you can do with the lighting. In conclusion this is a solid keyboard that types nicely. If they lit all the characters, included a wrist support and made the software more flexible I would have zero complaints.

Maybe a lil bit spendy but definitely worth it! Awesome!

I had always been a corsair fan untill I trying out Razer keyboards. I ended up purchasing the Choma V1 and I love it. The colors and keys work so well. The keys are so responsive and tacky. I would highly recommend anyone to give this keyboard a shot.

I've tried other keyboards before, but this one feels better to me. Incredibly responsive and because it's mechanical I know just from hearing it that I've hit the key. Added bonus being the chroma. Enjoyed customizing the lighting to be exactly what I want.

exciting to use and easy to adapt to its functions

I've been using a non mechanical keyboard for a long time, and switching to this keyboard was like night and day. I love the sound it makes, how it feels, and the colors are a nice extra. The keyboard is pretty sturdy so far, being a month in. No problems.
