This is a good keyboard. If you have only used basic keyboards in the past, the speed is nice. Setting up the macros can be both challenging and intimidating if you have not previously done this. Once you figure it out though it's a good keyboard with many benefits.

Tons of options. More than I'll ever use, honestly.

This is my first introduction to mechanical keyboards and I must say, the feeling of the clickiness of the keys is very tactile and amazing for gaming. The typing is easy with the two clicks you receive from pressing and releasing the key. With most keyboards I can get around 75 wps and with this keyboard I've reached 90. While the curved keys took getting used to, I found it useful and very ergonomic. The colors on this keyboard are so vibrant and beautiful. Razer Synapse allows for easy customizing to the keyboard with its simple, user-friendly features. They have the best looking chroma (which is what you're probably looking for if you're wanting this version over the regular) compared to others which don't look as vibrant and hidden. However I do have one complaint. The Razer Synapse program takes about a minute to load all your settings for your keyboard (and I can only imagine it takes longer which more settings) and that's an entire minute you have to wait longer for your startup. My computer usually loads up in 10 seconds, but this made the process much longer. None of the key binds or macros will work until the settings are done loading. I wish the settings were loaded from the computer or the keyboard itself somewhat like the Logitech G502 Mouse would do. TL;DR for shoppers in store: The keyboard is very much worth it if you want an amazing gaming mechanical keyboard that has amazing visuals. The visuals may not be important because you never look at your keyboard when you play or type (if you want to save money just buy the non chroma version and you get the same thing just without visuals), but if you want to show off to your friends or you want to be satisfied everytime you do look at your keyboard, for sure buy this. I do recommend you go to a store and feel the keyboard for yourself as the key feeling may/may not be of your liking.

I purchased this as a gift for my fiancée he loved it, but we had to exchange it multiple times due to single letter keys going out. Hopefully this one does not go out on us anytime soon otherwise we will have to deal with Razer support.
