This keyboard is a bit odd, every button clicks very loud and very odd that the computer lights are not connected to the computer. Even if the computer is off, if you accidentally click a button the lights will turn on.

Without a doubt this is one of the coolest keyboards in terms of lighting effects, however I will say if you dislike loud keyboards this isnt for you. However I love loud keyboards because I grew up with old IBM stuff; so realistically this keyboard is pretty quiet in comparison. 10/10 on customization 10/10 on tactile feedback, I would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for something that stands out.

Ordered this for in store pick up. A few of the buttons didn't work. Plan on going in to see if best buy can fix it or help us see where we can fix it. Other than that really cool keyboard.

If you had your eyes on a mechanical keyboard I would recommend a razer mechanical, however I would recommend the original ultimate mechanical since you the color change is an extra waste of money!

Out of all the keyboards ive owned this was decent, lights were cool. If you want a real keyboard get a Logitech 980

Great keyboard but the software was rushed. This is obviously competing with the Corsair K70 and the K70's software is much, much better.

I had high expectations of this Razor keyboard. Unfortunately, the keys stick (repeat) quite frequently. This is very frustrating considering this is supposed to be a top-notch gaming keyboard. At almost $200, it has way too many instances of sticking keys, which makes me very upset. Also, the Razor software causes the keyboard to turn off and reset itself. I uninstalled the Razor software at these problems went away.

My son loves it he uses it every day he is a 15 year old who does well in school however loves gaming

There is a high pitched whine coming from the keyboard. Replaced it with a new one, same issue.

Good quality. The upper keys hard to see in the dark, otherwise good product.

I would have to say that this keyboard is definitely something a person will want not necessarily a necessity. But for gamers or computer enthusiasts such as myself I would have to say the Razer BlackWidow Chroma RGB is not only an amazing keyboard but its features make it shine. There are various ways you can set the lighting on the keyboard to your preference and the general sounds of this mechanical keyboard are great. My girlfriends does not approve on such items like this but even she says typing has never been more fun! It has only been a few weeks but I have not once regretted buying this keyboard.

I've owned razer products for 5 years now none of them dissapoints, except for when I spill coffee on them of course lol! but seriously this is one of the keyboards I would recommend to anyone who wants a mechanical keyboard with interchangeable colors (RGB) the keys on this one are the Razer Green switches they are the Cherry MX Blue keys equivalent very tactile with an audible click, if you want the silent version if you are streaming games however to not annoy your viewers get the silent version which is the 'Stealth' instead.

Razer Green Switcges have a very high failure rate. Customer support is impossible to reach. Product was defective out of box... performed RMA on device... replacement unit is worse than original. Customer service will not respond to me.

BlackWidow Chroma Keyboard - Multi Is ok, didn't enjoy much.

D key thought it was being pressed during GTA V causing wrecks,etc.etc.....

It's ok but Not up to par with the Corsair K70 Rapidfire.

I'd been eyeing the keyboards in the PC Gaming section in my local Best Buy for months. I saw one from Steel Series, Logitech (own G502 Mouse), and Razer. They mechanical keyboards always seemed a bit high priced for me to make the jump. I walked down the isles each time I saw them, and I always said to myself, before leaving without one, that the Razer Blackwidow Chroma on display felt the best. The sound of the keys actually clicking was a turn off at first, but then when I went to try out the others none felt as good. Performance wise, the keyboard is very responsive, and your fingers will feel like they've never felt before, while gaming, and especially while typing, as weird as that may sound. I love the robust lighting and app system all very well organized by the synapse app that installs upon plugging in the keyboard. The custom RGB lighting section of the app can be quite overwhelming, though to most people familiar with PC's and especially gaming keyboards, they should feel right at home. If you don't feel like messing with the settings yourself, you can download presets for the lighting zones, some of which are pretty impressive. I downloaded a Hotline Miami profile and what came after applying the preset was pure amazement. No lighting on any keyboard, including my built in keyboard on my Alienware Laptop, compares to this. It's also quite nice to have a full num pad on the right, as well as some handy macro keys on the far left side of the keyboard. Those, as well as just about any other key for that matter can be remapped for your gaming style or genre. Overall I give this keyboard 5 stars for build quality, function, features, and design.

Literally the best keyboard I've ever owned, but it does cost a pretty penny. I love the cherry MX blue feel and sound. The Chroma is just an added bonus, but I can't believe it adds practically $70 to the bill. Amazing keyboard, but not so much on the price.

I wanted a back-lit mechanical keyboard and narrowed my choices down to the Blackwidow Chroma. I was not disappointed. The mechanical keys have just the right feel for typing. The software for customizing the keyboard works well. I enjoy being able to change the color of the backlighting every so often just to keep the look interesting. My only complaint would be the volume controls. They are function keys and sometimes do not work to adjust volume unless sound is already playing. I would have preferred a volume dial, but this is a minor complaint for an otherwise great keyboard.

I have always been a fan of razer products, and this keyboard is my biggest purchase yet. I 100% feel that i got my moneys worth for this keyboard. The keys feel so smooth and responsive, not to mention the satisfying clicking noise the keys themselves make. The definite knockout/standout feature of this keyboard is the Chroma lighting. It is so impressive how good the led lights look off the white background of the keyboard. Also the Razer Synapse is such a simple and intuitive program to customize the keyboard and colors to your liking. 10/10 would buy again.
