I traded My corsair k70 for this keyboard for 2 reasons first and most importantly I am not a gamer I use my imac for work and general personal use the corsair even though it is, in my opinion, a better build quality it was not mac user friendly there program did not work my mac and yes there are ways around that but just was not working out so I returned the k70 and got the chroma 2. The keys on the Chroma are much better. they offer a more clicky and mechanical feel to it and is very comfortable to use. The Razer software is very use to use and works just fine on my iMac no issues I just didn't give it a 5 star rating because of the plastic used. Even though you know this is a very well built product, Razer should of used steel or aluminum in the over all built.

This is the best keyboard I've ever owned. The clicky keys make it fun to type and they respond and feel great. The lighting is crazy with matrix, pac-man and other profiles. You can spend hours with the lighting customization with all the options they have. It's nice and heavy and the texture of the keyboard feels nice also. Highly recommend this to anyone in need of a new keyboard, hell, even if you're not. Spoil yourself and buy this!

I began computer gaming almost a year ago. I got a gaming laptop for my dorm. But I hated the digital keyboard feel. I tried a few other mechanical keyboards, but I didn't quite like them either. Finally, after the wait to save up my money from textbooks I bought the Razer Blackwidow Croma. This keyboard has anything and everything you could ever want. They keys are very tacky and loud and that's the way I like them! No more guessing if I clicked the correct button either. On top of the superior keys, this Razer Keyboard has a 16.8million LED color spectrum! I can easily make keys any color I want to highlight them for easy locating on the key board. There is Pre-set lighting configurations for MMO, and FPS based games, along with the ability to make your own custom lighting pattern. The Croma even has the ability to import files from razer community boards, so that you can download light patterns that others have posted on there. My only regret with this keyboard is that I didn't buy this sooner. If you are still hesitant to buy this, Don't be. You money will be well spent!

This is an amazing keyboard. Though I had already read some great reviews online for the Razer before I purchased it, it wasn't until I got it home and installed it that I truly saw what everyone was talking about. As you unpack it you will immediately feel how solid and well built it is. And when you plug it in the fun begins. The keys are super responsive, the lighting beyond expectation. The ability to program the keys, color and lighting makes it infinitely customizable.

Today I just bought the Razer Chroma keyboard and all I have to say is, WOW! This is one amazing keyboard. I borrowed my friends stealth version for quite a bit, and it was just too quiet. But this keyboard is everything I wanted. The customization options on this thing are unreal! I really do love this keyboard. I threw away my Corsair K70 for this and it was definitely the best decision I've made. Totally worth my $180 dollars. Good job on this one Razer.

This is a very good quality keyboard. I know there were some complaints or concerns about it being plastic but it feels extremely sturdy and is very well put together. The lights and customizable features of this keyboard are great and one of the brightest keyboards I've ever used. The keys themselves feel great and are very responsive. The only downside to this keyboard is the fact that any dirt or fingerprints that come in contact with the frame of the keyboard are very noticeable. Definitely the best keyboard I've ever owned.

This is definitely the best gaming keyboard with lights compared to all the other competitors. What can i say, I mean you can mess around with the light settings in any way to personalize the keyboard for you. All the keys feel great to press, but the only con is that they are very loud, Other than that this keyboard is top notch. It's definitely worth buying for the upgrade. Side note: I often times find my self mesmerized by the light effects.

I've had Logitech, Steel Series, and others... but nothing comes close to this keyboard. I thought that the mechanic keys clicking would get on my nerves. I was wrong, that only makes it sound like I'm doing work when gaming on my rig. The customization of the RGB lighting is best that I have experienced. You can set each key to have its own color, or each section of the keyboard to have their own set of colors. The spectrum and ripple effects are the best though. Not only that, Best Buy had the special going on this keyboard... buy the keyboard and get a free DeathAdder Chroma Optical Gaming Mouse. Couldn't resist that offer. Would recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a new keyboarf

I'm a gamer, and I like neat stuff. I bought this yesterday, and I have to say, it's blowin' my mind! I like the clicks, and it's a blast to customize the color schemes. I had a Blackwidow Ultimate, and as such this is just a natural step up. You owe it to yourself to try this board, it'll amaze you.

Keyboard symbols are not in sync. The @ key and a few other symbols do not work at all.

I love this keyboard. I had always wanted to get one, but I couldn't afford it until recently. I bought this keyboard, took it home, and set it up. I messed around with some of the chroma settings first to get what I wanted out of lighting. The color is more in depth than most other keyboards out their, and it is more bright with its neon type of tone. I am also writing this review using the keyboard. There are macro keys as well, but I haven't set any up yet, but I do like that feature. The only cons to me are that the typing could be a little more quiet, and on the top right corner their are dim lights that show things such as number lock or caps lock, I think they could have used that space more efficiently for different types of toggles and such. But otherwise, I would give this keyboard about a 4.9/5, so really close to a 5. I hope this review has helped you make a decision

I just recently bought this key board and I can already tell I love it. I use it primarily for gaming and the feedback from the keys is great. the look and feel of this keyboard is just impressive. Also the software for the lighting is very easy to use and customizing your lighting to your needs is very easy.

This keyboard is a complete and utter improvement over my previous Blackwidow. The lighting is easy to customize as well as the macros. This is perfect keyboard for people new to computer gaming. It is well worth the price in my opinion.

This keyboard is great probably the best gaming keyboard on the market. Yes the blackwidow ultimate is out there as well but adding the addition of 16.8 minion different colors to have your keyboard really allows you to make it your own and have fun while kicking butt online.

I bought my Razer Blackwidow Chroma Keyboard today 2/20/15 and have to say this thing is Excellent, the RGB keys are lit Nicely, the software is easy to use, the new Razer gaming key switches are Great, heavy but sensitive, the sound of the clicks from the keys is pronounced, the keyboard does not slip around on the surface its set on, very sturdy construction, and a really nice braided usb cable, I just upgraded from a Razer Lycosa which was very nice itself but always had issues, Not with this keyboard whatsoever, I HIGHLY recomend this to any and everyone, no joke

This is a great gaming keyboard. My favorite part is you can create lighting profiles for any game you play to color code all your most used controls. Definitely helps. You can also create awesome lighting patterns that react to how you type. My basic pattern I use is a blue background that has a lightening storm effect. When I hit a key it sends a ripple across the keyboard. You can find many user created patterns online as well to import. Another favorite feature is the keyboard is very accurate and love the clicking noise it makes for some reason. CON Try to stay away from the F9 key, its the macro key,. the keyboard will start going all whacky and you will need to go into the software program and disable macros to fix it. Pain in the butt on that part and it takes getting used to. Dont see need for it though.

After being a longtime Logitech consumer, I recently purchased this keyboard. Because it is so much easier to navigate than my last keyboard, it is a little tricky to get used to; the keys are mechanical, yet easy to touch, but with every sentence I write, I'm already becoming faster. I love the lighting, as it makes my system look that much better, the bindings are incredibly easy to figure out, and so far, I am very happy with this keyboard. I can't wait to purchase a new Razer mouse to find out if the brand can live up to this one product!

I was first attracted to the hardware for its look. When I plugged it in, I fell in love with how it felt. I consider myself a bit of a snob when it comes to peripherals and I have spent a time with every brand. As far as keyboards are concerned, this Black Widow Chroma takes the cake. The key differentiator is the mechanical keys. Every action feels individual. Spamming keys tends to carry a very muddy feeling (Orion Spark for example), but not with the Black Widow. There are plenty of other great features that make this hardware functional and visually appealing. My opinion is that when you are looking at your screen and not your keyboard, you will care more about what it feels like. Turns out I like that feeling at the office too so I ordered another. It's a conversation starter for sure.

I bought this keyboard because of the excellent reviews it got. Everyone said it was the best possible keyboard to buy for gaming. As a competitive player this stood out to me. So, I gathered up my funds and bought this and a Deathadder Chroma mouse. When I brought it home I replaced my old Dell keyboard and Logitech mouse with my new magnificent Razer gear. The first game I played was CS:GO and my performance doubled. I went from being unranked to a silver elite in a matter of days. This keyboard truly is the best on the market. It's precise and responsive and has some killer lighting on it. I spent about an hour just making designs with it. Every keystroke and click of the mouse is like sleeping on a cloud but with your hands. I highly recommend this product and said mouse to go with it.

This is yet another amazing product from Razer. The keyboard is a bit loud and clicky but still looks and feels amazing. I also have a Razer Naga Wrath Red, which is an AMAZING mouse, as well as a 4-year old Razer Deathstalker, which I also recommend. If you have a tad bit of extra money, buy this. I had a Logitech G910 Orion Spark, but I came back to Razer because of the amazing quality. Thank you Razer for another amazing product!
