I love the lighting and the click sounds. It is wonderful for my gaming. I will say that if you are sharing the room your housemates might not like the noise from the keys.

I got this keyboard as a much needed utility for programming and writing code. So far, I have been very impressed with the capabilities of this keyboard and it has made writing code much faster for me. The programable keys have come in handy as I can use them as shortcuts for copy, past, undo, etc. all things that programmers use frequently and it has made my coding much faster. The keys have a very good tactile feel and provide a fairly loud click upon a key press, which may be a turn off for some buyers if noise level is a main concern. For me it is no problem since I code in an enclosed office but it may be annoying to coworkers in an shared working space environment. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase of this keyboard. With this product you get what you pay for. Build quality, functionality, and customization ability are all top notch with this keyboard.

Looks- The product looks great. packaging was thought out well. The color display looks great as well. Performance- I've been using the product non stop since I purchased it. I love it. Colors work perfectly, the keys are comfortable on my fingers, all in all I fell its well worth the cost. Criticism- I really wish the USB was on the back of the key board. Im right handed and I use the port for my wired mic, and the wire sometimes gets in the way . I also wish they made the volume keys for music media separated on the key board, appose to having them on the F 1,2,35,6,7 keys .

This keyboard is absolutely amazing. Aside from the many appealing visual aesthetics it provides, it comes with unmatched quality in use and game play. The Macros are crazy easy to set up, you can make individual lighting profiles and attach it to a game or application so when it's started, your keyboard switches to that profile. Input is astoundingly fast and the headphone/USB port on the keyboard itself makes it multi functional capabilities that much better. Seriously, if you want an amazingly good gaming keyboard, get this.

Definitely the best keyboard purchase I've made in a long time. Great response and perfect key spacing. (I'm a tall, broad guy so having enough space between keys can be a big deal for people of my stature) The LED coloring is amazing as well. Nice and flashy and some of the CHROMA settings are pretty awesome. I currently have the ripple LED effect going with every keystroke. It's entertaining for sure. Definitely a good buy to any serious gamer or someone who really wants the flashiest keyboard on the market.

Was looking to upgrade my keyboard and noticed that they made a new Blackwidow. So I bought it and let me tell you very well made and so many options. There is also a ton of lighting options too. You can have different profiles for certain games, and the keyboard will only light up the keys you want it too. For example for FPS games it lights up W,S,A,D and R. You can change it to light up any key you want and different tones.

The headline says it all. The best keyboard I have ever gamed on! The color options for it are amazing as well!!!

Keys feel great. They are very clicky and loud and will probably annoy anyone in the immediate vicinity. Keep this in mind before purchasing for use in a shared space. The keyboard is nice and solid and heavy. The colored backlighting is great, but is really more of a novelty after the first few days of use. There are a few design flaws that keep this from being a winner. First of all, the keyboard holds fingerprints. Embarrassingly so. The caps lock, numlock, etc indicator lights are in the upper right corner and are cheap looking, dim, and impossible to see. They might as well not be there. Third, and possibly most annoying (for me, at least), the designers decided it would be a good idea to print the shifted characters (i.e., ~!@#$%, etc) and functions on the BOTTOM of the keys instead of on the top of the keys like literally every other keyboard ever made. The symbols also are not back lit so good luck finding them in low room lighting. For the price, there are better choices.

This is a great keyboard for gamer's or anyone! I love how it changes colors and is totally customizable. Razer products are generally a little pricier than most brands but they give you great value for what you purchase. To anyone looking for a new mechanical keyboard...buy Razer!!

Amazing quality. Great click keys for gaming. Amazing color schemes and options. Pass through USB, Microphone and Headphone jacks on side of keyboard. Impressive packaging. Nice very long cords made of great quality. Definite great keyboard. Another superb Razer product. The Chroma line is the best. Very solid well built product. Very responsive.

This is my first mechanical keyboard that I have ever purchased. It was more than I ever expected. I love the tactile feel of the keys. It functions properly, but the media buttons are in strange spots. I don't really understand the macro buttons, but I'm sure I'll soon understand and they'll be awesome. The Function keys were really far from my old HP keyboard. I'm now accustomed to this new keyboard after a month of use. Using Razer Synapse in tandem with the keyboard is amazing. I can set keyboard lighting profiles and switch on the fly using the keyboard's fn key or have the profiles switch as I load up a program. You can even switch the different types of lighting. All the way from changing the color of the lights to how it reacts to key down presses.

The Razer BlackWidow Chroma is my favorite keyboard ever it is really durable and typing on it feels amazing i love turning of the light and using my custom lighting. The keyboard has some of the most important things to a gamer like the five macro keys and all of the programmable keys, however the only thing that bothers me is that after a while of owning it i can see my finger prints stand out agains the black plastic but other than that i believe it is an excellent keyboard.

Coming from a Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, I was skeptical about the thought Razer's very own Green switches would be of any good. Well, luckily, I set my doubts aside for this Black Friday to purchase this wonderful keyboard. First of all, the LEDs, which would be the only reason you would purchase the Chroma over the standard Ultimate. They are nice, bright, and customizable through Razer Synapse. Currently limited options with customization through Synapse, hopefully updates will only make this keyboard even better. Only time will tell how reliable the LEDs will be. Second, the switches. If you have used a Cherry MX Blue keyboard before, you would realize how loud and tactile it is. This keyboard is a bit quieter compared to the Blues and a little bit less clicky. That is not to say, however, that they are inferior to the Blues. They feel amazing when I play games that require lots of keystrokes (League of Legends) and feel comfortable when typing, something like this review. Same as the LEDs, only time will tell if these switches are as reliable as Razer claims they are at 60 million keystrokes. For those still on the line with this keyboard, think of this like a cake. Do you care about the ingredients (eggs, batter, etc.) used in making the cake? Or do you care that the cake that comes out tastes good and looks great? Same idea for this keyboard. If you trust Razer in providing a good experience with this keyboard without overthinking about the benefits of the switches to you, then this is the keyboard for you. Besides, you can return it if it does not feel right at your fingertips. Highly recommended.

The Razer Blackwidow Chroma Keyboard is a great keyboard with easy to use software for the customizable lighting. The keyboard has the clicky keys, which are great for gaming so that you know exactly when the keys are actuating. Overall the keyboard is amazing for how I've used it in gaming and just everyday typing.

I got this keyboard because I had the past one, and wanted to upgrade. I read reviews, and it said it was pretty great. I took a leap of faith and bought it. I will never regret that decision. It sounds amazing, the lights are very bright, and the macro keys on the left side are so useful during gaming.

I've been using this keyboard since 2016. I don't think i will need to replace this anytime soon.

I love this keyboard! The feel, the response, the color! It is awesome! the problem is that my house mate HATES the clickety-clickety noise. (Which is kinda the point of these keyboards.) So check on that before purchase. I love the 65million colors that this can display. I tend to have it cycle the full spectrum of colors unless music is playing and then I have it display as the visualiser (additional download required).

Excellent board, with outstanding feel and response. Lighting effects are amazing, fun and easy to customize! The only thing to be cautious of is key noise, which honestly is expected of mechanical keys, but if you can't deal with that sort of thing, you might want to consider a different board.
