By no means am I a Razer fan. I actually went in to buy a different keyboard since those had Cherry MX switches but the prices... But after some research and the price at the time I went with this. Very tactile as my preference, have a good travel on the switches. while not a fan of green the ability to turn them of was there in razers software. Though I have it on very dim for night use. solid build even though its made of plastic no aluminium on the outside from what I see. It does have a good weight so it wont move around easily I kinda wish I had rubber feet though.

I really like the keyboard, works great with my pc. I play video games mostly on consoles but the keyboard helps make using the pc for gaming easier.

great mechanical keyboard, price was good and worked as expected

Quick response time for game play and the keys are never sticky- love it!

Many people are reluctant to spend so much on a keyboard. But if you are a gamer or even just someone who types a lot, you've got to try a mechanical keyboard. Razer does a great job with mechanical keyboards. No more sticky keys! The only thing I didn't like is the lights going on and off. You maybe able to change that in the razer synapse settings. I haven't tried yet.

Yes its razer, but the key switches are similar to MX blues so they're loud and tactile just like i like. The lighting effects are cool too

I like the keyboard. It feels good in my fingers and it works well. The only thing I don't like is that the keyboard needs 2 usb ports and a headphone jack to utilize all of its capabilities. I don't use the headphone jack but the real problem is that my laptop only has 3 usb ports and I already use one for something else. So the keyboard takes up the rest of my usb ports. It has one built into it, but i use that for my mouse. Aside from the amount of plug ins it needs, the keyboard is phenomenal and i am extremely happy with my purchase.

I made the switch to PC a year ago and bought this keyboard for my beginner PC skill level. Still today I use this keyboard without any performance issue. On the other hand, now that i am no longer a beginner in the PC MASTARace, cosmetically this keyboard falls behind current models. The lack of RGB compatibility and wrist rest will likely be my reason for upgrading in the future. Nonetheless, this is a fine Razer keyboard.

Great Key board would buy another one. Like the fact that it lights up.

I have become more and more impressed with the razer name starting with a pair of headphones purchased years ago. Fast forward to the current keyboard. I absolutely love this keyboard and it's helped my gaming by a ton. The keys are very responsive, mostly I use this for typing and I have to say that the keys are very easy to press and the layout is perfectly correct.

A very nice keyboard. The clicky keys are very satisfying. I just wish it lit up in more colors than just green though

This was the first gaming keyboard I ever bought, but it's definitely aimed towards more serious gamers with some of the features it has. The Razer Synapse is great for customizing the lighting and other settings on it, but it can be a little tricky to use when you're first starting out. The clacky keys are definitely fun to use for a while, but it does start to get annoying, especially when you're talking to people through mic and they can hear you on your keyboard all the time. Other than that, it's great!
