The switches are a little too light for my touch compared to the Cherry MX Red switches, but the keyboard is still good for gaming. This keyboard is a little loud to.

The BlackWidow Ultimate Elite is a great keyboard. The backlight is strong and has a good variance to the brightness if you need it. The keys are super responsive. The entire board feels solid and well made. There are a few minor annoyances though. The keycaps only allow the key's main function to be illuminated. For example the 2 key is illuminated but the @ is solid paint. Also, the Caps and Num lock indicators are not nearly as bright or easy to read as they are on the box. Back to the good though, the m1-m5 keys are very easy to reprogram in the software and give you a good amount of flexibility. If you're looking for a solidly built mechanical keyboard and don't mind the rather heavy sound the keys can make at times, especially when typing fast, this is a god place to look.

Great Keyboard, nice feedback from keystrokes. Keys are a little loud if you tend to type heavy but keys have good construction with quality feel. Would buy again.

I like mechanical keyboards, but they are an acquired taste. If your typing could use a little improvement, the keystroke motion and clicky sound of this keyboard will help. Also, for gaming you can't beat the response time and key press articulation.

The keyboard itself is quite nice but it's also a fingerprint magnet. Also... not really the blue key I was looking for.

This is the best mechanical keyboard I have used in my life. I tried the Corsair and Logitech brand, but they didn't feel right. I tried both the brown and red keys from Corsair, and neither of them feel as good as the green keys from Razer.
