this key board has to be the best for gaming. it features very reactive keys, Green LED illumination, headphone/Mic, and USB port. the keys take some getting used to if you are going from a regular keyboard to this as far as typing goes but for gaming it makes everything much easier. pretty much plug and play although you can download Razor synaps which will allow you to mess around with the settings a little more and even give you the option to set up game mode settings.

This keyboard not only looks great but sounds and feels like a keyboard should. This is my first keyboard, no problems so far. You can also adjust the lighting which is just another plus.

oh my wow! im so excited to finally get a razer black widow! Yes i got it on sale but all gamer reviews i have seen, THIS is the keyboard to buy!! normally at $130 worth the money when it comes to a keyboard with so many features. the only problem i have with it so far is it is taking me a little bit to get use to the key strokes but thats me i cant take that away from the company. it will come on time. it has its own usb port and headphone port also which i didn't realize i love that feature! The background lights are super bright but can change easy by a click of a button. i could go on and on but in quick words AMAZING AMAZING!!!!!

Bought this as a gift for a gamer friend of mine and he absolutely loves it! He said it is easy to use/install and the click-clacking of the keyboard is great as well.

Great keyboard love it so far have had for about 2 weeks now and can't go back to an old style love it in every way. And haven't even tried out the macro yet.

I have owned several Razer products over the years. This purchase was due to my Razer Lycosa keyboard failing. I had been researching, but needed a replacement when some keys fully stopped working properly. I wanted mechanical keys if possible. My Lycosa did not have them, but did last 8 years with only a few minor problems. I could not afford a BlackWidow Chroma, so I settled for the BlackWidow Ultimate Elite. No blue backlight, but this saved me some green. My only problems are personal based ones. Not offering some basic backlight colors options is lazy in my opinion. Other companies offer 16 million colors, mechanical switches, and are at lower price point. These companies also have software problems with configuration of the keyboard, and I have had some problems with Synapse 2.0 in the past. Still I like Razer products, and my past experience still makes Razer my primary choice.

This keyboard is a great gaming keyboard. I have really enjoyed my experience with this product and can't wait to try another razor product!

A little on the expensive side, but the keyboard is great! I've been using for about a month now and getting used to the spacing and actuation force required and really loving it. On the upper end of my price range, but worth it! It is VERY easy to see the keys with dim lighting in the room.

The keys go clickety-clack, much to the satisfaction of my gaming son. It's a great quality keyboard.

The Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014 is one of the best gaming mechanical keyboards out there. Although with a hefty price of 129.99 it’s totally worth it in the end. With its light up feature and 5 extra keys located on the left side of the keyboard it’s a must for all gamers alike. It also has a very useful “Gaming Mode” and “Macro Recording” buttons for the real gaming feel. My favorite part of the whole keyboard is the clicky sound that the keys make when you type. The BlackWidow also has a light up feature that lights up each individual key for a nice backlight look in the dark, perfect for gaming in the dark so you don’t have to struggle looking for the right keys. Overlooking the big price tag of 129.99 I ABSOLUTLY recommend this mechanical keyboard to every gamer young and old. The keyboard has a nice mate black finish on the keyboard and nice glossy finish on the keys. If you have any gaming relative you should consider getting them this keyboard I rate it 10/10

This is a fantastic keyboard. I already owned a BlackWidow 2013 and loved it so decide to upgrade. The adjustable back light of the Ultimate 2014 is great and as always the programmable keys are a breeze to program and use. The main difference, other than the back light, between the 2013 and 2014 models are the new mechanical switches used by Razer. They are no longer using the Cherry MX Blue switches and instead have started using Razer's own Green switches. While they are not quite as clicky I actually prefer them now to the Blues and also find them to be a bit more accurate and easier to type on. Absolutely no complaints.

ive wanted one of these for a long time ever since i saw the one my friend bought and i thought it looked really cool and now that i have one i am not disappointed. The design of it is very sleek and just looking at it you can tell it is an awesome keyboard. it is fairly easy to set up it requires nothing complicated you just download synappse create an account and plug it in and it takes care of the rest. the reaction time for the keys is amazing, its not to noticeable normally but when your playing a game and you need to move fast it makes a difference. it is also very good for gaming at all times of day you don't have to worry about the dark because the keys are all very brightly back lit and easy to see. plus the clicking sound is kinda fun :P

A great mechanical keyboard with hotkeys and plenty of customization. I really like that Razer has the Synapse which helps keeps your preferences on the cloud so that no matter what you won't fully lose your settings. You will not be disappointed if you get this keyboard

this keyboard I got because my other key board had broke. It is nice and slim and I t has special mechanical switches allowing for better gaming. And on the left there are 4 programable switches which help me out a lot. All in all a good keyboard.
