Razer's new trifecta of wireless gaming components (DeathAdder v2 Pro, Blackwidow v3 Pro, Blackshark v2 Pro) look awesome and hold a lot of promise, but they have some fatal flaws right now. These require Razer Synapse v3 to work, which is fine, but Synapse (or the device drivers) is super buggy. You have to download several updates, rebooting after each, just to get it to recognize these new devices. Once it does recognize them, it had a tendency to lose track of them, requiring you to unplug the device's dongle and plug it back in. In my experience this happens with the mouse and keyboard every time I turn on the computer, while it's only happened once with the headset. It will also often happen if the devices resume from low power mode. The truly fatal flaw, in my opinion, is that Razer requires you to use a separate 2.4Ghz dongle for *each* device, which just means they're all going to interfere with each other like crazy. This is especially evident with the mouse, where the interference causes terrible latency. You can run usb extension cables to separate the dongles from each other, but what's the point of that? I wanted *wireless* devices. Also, good luck if you want the dongles in the back of your computer (if it's made out of metal). All the metal back there is likely to cause even more interference. I had to plug all my dongles in the front. I may end up connecting all these via bluetooth to avoid the interference caused by using the 2.4Ghz dongles, but that's less than desirable due to the bandwidth limitations of Bluetooth (eg Chroma is severely limited), so not a great solution. Hopefully they will solve this via software updates, but I would avoid any of these products until they are more mature.

    Not a very good keyboard.

Several keys will double a key press. And using the volume wheel will often scroll the screen for the first few detents. I definitely wish I was about to take this keyboard back for a refund.

Logitech Vs Razer? Razer takes the cake for me. Especially if you're in the philips hue family. This thing is an absolute must have. Integrating Razr Synapse into your Philips Hue system will give you an immersive experience you've only dreamed about. I love the tactile feedback from this keyboard both physically and audibly. Super easy to set up out of the box too. I like things that save me time and add to my life. This is one of those things. Totally in love.

This is a very nice keyboard. Too bad Razer cannot get the software to work consistently with it. I have run into frequent problems with software updates that freeze up my PC and force me to go into safe mode, disable Razer Synapse, and then uninstall all Razer apps and then reinstall. This takes an average of two hours every second or third update to the Synapse software. My latest problem with their failure of software is the following: Trying to uninstall the software and my PC just shuts off. I would say this could be something else causing it EXCEPT I can duplicate the problem just by trying to uninstall the software. When I finally got the software to uninstall I went to reinstall the software and again my PC just shuts off. No warning no error message just power off instantly. My best advice is to find another brand of keyboard. Razer is NOT ready for primetime. No matter how much I want to like this keyboard, I just cannot get over how terrible the software update and installation problems are.

Key Spamming Issues - look for a better device

I will start by saying that the build quality on the keyboard seems pretty nice - but it absolutely should for almost $250. I am on my second BlackWidow V3 Pro - and am still experiencing key spamming issues on a daily basis. When spending the amount of money that this thing costs, it should at the bare minimum, function as a keyboard. I am constantly having keys double type which has a massive impact on my productivity. I contacted Razer support and jumped through all of their hoops to finally be told I need to take my personal time to go exchange my keyboard at BestBuy where I purchased it. Shockingly, I am experiencing the exact same issues on this keyboard as I did the original. Now Razer tells me I can RMA the keyboard (send it to them and be without a device while they receive and then send a replacement) but give me no guarantee that it will not continue to happen. Which will leave me having to RMA keyboard upon keyboard. While I appreciate their attempt at a nice, Bluetooth-capable mechanical keyboard, they failed miserably. I am also very dissatisfied with Razer's customer service. I should not be the one inconvenienced in this situation.
