I bought a Razer BlackWidow V4 keyboard for $170, and it stopped working just four months after purchase. Best Buy refused to replace it, even though it was clearly under warranty. Instead, they told me to deal with the manufacturer myself and completely washed their hands of the issue. This is unacceptable for a $170 product. Best Buy is a total scam — avoid buying anything here.

I love the feel of this, and it worked great for about a month, then several keys started double pressing. I thought it was dirt, nothing. So I took it back, swapped it, and the same thing happened. The one I have now is the third one I have had. I am returning it later today, and am very close to getting a Logitech or Corsair, because this is insane. Razer basically is pretending this isn't an issue, when you can find tons of people with the same issue, with this keyboard. If you like Razer, buy the Huntsman. Or the old Black Widow. Because this one is a rip off. I spend more time deleting extra letters then I do typing at this point.

So far experience is not good. When the keyboard works, it's great. However, it started double typing after 2 months... This didn't sit well considering I got rid of my previous Razer keyboard (huntsman v2) for inserting random letters during typing (granted this took a couple years). Additionally, it's irritating the made the TNK version of this keyboard "hot swappable", or in other words you can replace the switches. If this keyboard was the same, I may have been able to alleviate the issue myself. I digress. I have a replacement coming tomorrow. I'll update this review pending a reasonable amount of time with that keyboard functioning correctly, or otherwise failing.

This keyboard is too expensive to have the problems that it has randomly losing light and spamming keys, razer has a joke of a support process as well for fixing these problems very poor quality control

I return this due to setup requirements that required a online account and other installation requirements. I've been a high level computer tech for over 50 years. I'm sure others will get this keyboard running but I gave up and would not recommend.

The keyboards chroma settings resset after every time you turn on your PC andd Im also having key spamming isssues. I contacted Razer and after trouble shooting they confirmed my keyboard is ddefective but they wwant a dowwn payment in order to replace it... I use it for wwork I cant wwait wweeks for a replacement andd dont have the money to make ddowwn payments on returns. SSTAY AWAY FROM RAZER PRODDUCTS

I purchased this keyboard in order to update my setup, and to provide more of an ambiance. Little did I know the programs for this keyboard don't work, and the effects which you pay for don't work on it. The company hasn't updated the faulty Synapse application so this keyboard is a waste of money since it doesn't do any of the lighting or color effects.

Keyboard failed within a year. RMA process is a joke and they keep trying to get out the warranty by asking for this and that. Thankful that BB.com has .pdf receipts. I am done with Razer products.
