Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the BlackWidow V4 Pro keyboard's high quality and satisfying mechanical sound, along with its vibrant RGB lighting and comfortable wrist rest. Users appreciate the responsive key feel, convenient volume control, and optional USB passthrough. However, some find the keyboard to be expensive, and a few have expressed concerns about the non-hot-swappable switches and the user-friendliness of the software.

off to a rocky start but good once firmware update

Premium build for sure. Padded wrist rest is quite comfortable. Volume roller feels quite solid. Keys are a bit high and offer more resistance than I was expecting but I've gotten used to it. I would like to give this five stars but encountered erratic behavior on first use. Wasn't able to find anything online about it but noticed v4 75% buyers complained of the same symptoms. Almost returned the keyboard until I did a firmware update which seemed to resolve the issues. Now, this firmware update did not come from the Razer software, which is what one would expect. Instead, went to Razer website, looked up the keyboard, and found a firmware update that resolved a lighting issue but made no mention of the erratic key press response I was getting. Still, the firmware update worked. Very strange. So far, this is a very nice keyboard and I'm loving it the more I use it.

Gltichy start up i see what people mean by the spam key thing .. as soon as i boot my pc amd try to log in it spams a random key … i was able to get afterwards and update which seem to fix it. A little louder than i would like rgb is nice but not true to color as ofher keyboards … i like the macros and wrist rest its very comfortable to use dor a couple hours of typing or gaming. Great keyboard with its quirks … idk if i am going to keep it but so far so good

Bought this as part of a full upgrade from a dying PC. Razer products have always done me well, and my last keyboard lasted well over 3 years. Very strong construction and solid build. Very responsive. Some probably dislike the sound of the keys on this keyboard, but its a very satisfying sound to me. Definitely would recommend.

A month in and I still love the clickiness of this keyboard. Haven’t had any problems with it, razers app is kind of difficult to use but that’s probably user error I would recommend it if you have the money for it and don’t mind having a very loud keyboard.

This is a great keyboard. It took a little getting used to due to coming from a non-mechanical keyboard (idk what the actual term was). The keys are super responsive and the sound is fantastic. The lighting comes with a bunch of options in the razer software and it matches the build of the PC.

Absolutely Love This!!! The lights are a great touch and the keys move really easily. I can type super fast on here and the 10 key number pad comes in clutch. I do not use this for gaming - i use it to run my businesses from home. The Hot Keys on the side are Clutch!

Super nice keyboard, plenty of macros available. The wrist rest is super comfortable and the magnet is super powerful. The LEDs are super bright and can be dimmed if needed. I love that the led on the trim will wrap around if the wrist rest is attached.

Well built keyboard with a satisfying click. Usb passthrough is nice, adjustable knobs, and standard layout makes changing keycaps very easy and not required any extra stabilizer bars. Wish the Huntsman had all the same features with clicky keys instead of Analog.

Pretty sure it’s only keyboard that has a lit up wrist rest super responsive, super fast, bright colors, amazing mechanical keyboard. My only problem is the racer software is becoming very heavy and complicated.

I've used both Corsair and Razer and while both are the same price the Razer always give you that quality feal even with the hand rest vs a Corsair keyboard of the same price. Not giving full 5 stars due to these keyboards cannot handle ANY spill damange.

Great keyboard, this may sound obvious but I wouldn't consider it to be very quiet (I had read in a top 10 that that it was), It sounds like a mechanical keyboard. RGB looks great and a lot of games offer automatic support for it (matching colors to in-game color theme, highlighting keys for dialogue options, loading screen color changes, etc). The extra RGB on the wrist rest is a nice touch. The 3 left side buttons are mappable which can be useful. What's really great is that razer app let's you disable the windows key and/or alt + tab if you have a tendency to hit those while gaming. The whole keyboard feels nice with some good weight to it. I'd reccomend this if you really like RGB with your games or if you want to match your keyboard lights to your gaming room/office/bedroom (even though you could get a cheaper one).

Absolutely love this keyboard! It's wonderfully clacky - I feel like I'm using an old school typewriter! Also really love that the lighting is fully customizable. It was really easy to get it to look just the way I wanted. Very happy with this purchase.

I will say I do have a heavy wrist, so the white is easy to get dirty and if playing in the same spot it wears on the memory foam pretty quickly. But don't let that guide you away from this. honestly, I can say I love working and playing with razer and this is one of the keyboards I would definitely recommend. AWESOME KEYBOARD.

I switched over to linux after buying this keyboard. While synapse doesn't work on linux. There are alternatives that are open source. Basically pick whatever app feels best, and it'll function like it did on windows.
