Possibly Razer’s best product yet

TLDR: The Cobra Pro has a premium feel, high quality switch gear, and RGB overload.
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
3 Connection Options: Bluetooth, Razer Hyperspeed, Wired
30,000 dpi Optical Resolution
11 Zones of RGB Lighting
CONNECTIVITY
The Cobra gives the user 3 options for connecting to their PC. Low power Bluetooth is available for the ultimate in connectivity and long battery life. After hours and hours of work and general computing, the battery life is still 95%.
Come game time, the user can switch easily to using Razer’s 2.4GHz Hyperspeed connection for the best in low-lag wireless performance. Thankfully, Razer has made the ability to switch connection methods as simple as a 2-way switch on the bottom of the mouse. Awesome. I found no discernible input lag while gaming using the Hyperspeed connection. The Razer Hyperspeed connection is one of the best performing implementations of the wireless connection available.
Lastly, is the tried and true USB-C wired connection. No lag, no interference, and the ability to charge the mouse while playing.
USE
Like I stated earlier in my post, this mouse has a great feel to it. Much better than any other mice I own. The plastic top side has just a little amount of texture, while the sides have a thin, rubber texture making for excellent grip.
Razer’s investment in their 3rd generation optical switches has paid off. The switches have a unique feel specifically to the Razer line. They are, by far, the most satisfying and precise switches to have been installed in any mouse I currently use or have used. Excellent work Razer.
SYNAPSE
To this day, I am still no fan of the Razer Synapse software. In my opinion, it is overly bloated and cumbersome. While it has improved over the years, it is still nowhere near as refined and feature rich as Razer’s competition.
Unfortunately, to fully customize your Cobra, you have to use the Synapse software. As much as I dislike the software, I will admit, that there is a ton of customization options it unlocks. Nearly everything is customizable. Report rate, sensitivity, button assignments, lighting, lighting effects, etc.
NEGATIVES
Without installing additional modules to the Synapse software (adding even more bloat) the amount of RGB customization is limited. For example, you can select the wave pattern which scrolls through the rainbow’s colors, but you cannot control the speed at which it changes. Annoying.
Using the Bluetooth connection, I noticed considerable lag after the mouse goes to sleep from not being used. Razer’s competition wake up and snap to attention significantly faster. While not a deal breaker, I know it is something that can easily be tweaked via a software / firmware update.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I am fortunate to own gaming mice from nearly every major provider, even other Razer mice. Frankly, of all the mice I own and have been able to test, Razer was never my favorite. Not that my other Razer mice are bad, I just preferred the feel, behavior, weight, and design of Razer’s competitors. However, this Cobra Pro has finally changed my opinion.
The Cobra Pro is a fantastic product. While not as light as other gaming mice, it strikes a great balance. I have never cared for the ultra-light mice. There just isn’t enough substance, often leaving them feeling cheap. The Razer strikes a near perfect balance of weight and aesthetics. Razer’s 3rd generation optical switches are fantastic, rewarding the user with a nice, precise and premium feel.
The Cobra Pro has finally earned Razer the top spot as my favorite gaming mouse.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The Razer Cobra Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse with Chroma RGB Lighting and 10 Customizable Controls is an awesome gaming mouse. There are 3) items on the bottom of the mouse:
1- Bluetooth / Off / 2.4 GHz slide switch
2- Profile Button
3- A Puck, which is removable & covers a storage compartment for the dongle.
Being able to switch from Bluetooth to 2.4GHz or wired on the fly can be a life saver. It enables you to set up the mouse very quickly at a guest location without connecting the dongle. The 2.4 GHz Hyperspeed connection delivers virtually no lag wireless results with up to 1000 Hz polling rate, while the battery lasts 100 Hrs at constant motion. Switching to Bluetooth increases battery life to 125 Hrs., but the mouse shows a lag during wake-up. The included USB-C cable plugs into the mouse, allowing wired operation.
The rubberized texture surrounding this mouse offers a comfortable feel & is so much easier to control than hard plastic. It just feels right in your hand.
The lighting is very well done, but to customize lighting & many other features requires the Razer Synapse software, which I found cumbersome.
CONCLUSION:
Razer Cobra Pro is my new favorite mouse, both for gaming & for desktop computing. The lag free operation, feel & weight are ideal. It earns my highest recommendation.

Looking for a cool mouse that’s also more than cool? This is it, the perfect mouse for both gaming and getting things done!
The construction is light but sturdy, the lighting adds high-tech ambience but isn’t gaudy, the customizable buttons and profile switch give lots of options for tailoring the buttons to your needs, and the on-the-fly DPI switches are perfect for rapidly and effortlessly switching between fast movement and then slowing things down for precise sniper shots.
You can do most of the customization using the core Razer Synapse app, including a basic array of lighting options, but you can install the chroma module for more precise control over your lights if you have something very specific in mind.
The mouse movement is precision responsive, and though it works over Bluetooth it “feels” ever so slightly more responsive when using the dedicated USB dongle. My one caveat in this regard is that I wish Razer, and others, would start providing native USB-C dongles rather than USB-A dongles that need adapters for C as my most recent gaming laptop has only USB-C ports. So I can use it, but I have to use an adapter, and it feels like a small clunky step backwards.
And of course life can’t be all fun and games and this mouse pulls double duty for work easily. It’s all-day and all-night comfortable with the battery life to match. I’m an established fan of Razer audio products, I’ve used them for years, but this is my first Razer mouse and you can color me duly impressed. It’s a keeper for sure and I’d recommend this to just about anyone without reservation.

The Razer Cobra Pro Wireless is well rounded mouse that meets expectations
[PROS]
- Build quality: It's a plastic mouse that still feels high quality. The rubberized, texture side grips gives my fingers a pleasant landing spot while playing. The mouse clicks are very responsive, and the feedback is nice.
- Weight and Feet: The mouse is lightweight which allows me move swiftly. Furthermore, the plastic feet below the mouse compliment the weight of this mouse perfectly. I'm able to move in all directions without any hinderance.
- Battery life: Battery life is long. I mean very long. I haven't needed to charge my mouse in over a week, and I'm still over 60% with moderate usage.
- RGB: I mean who doesn't enjoy a good light show? The lighting found at the bottom the mouse can be viewed even with a decent amount of sunlight.
[CONS]
- Frame size: I did wish for the overall frame to be slightly bigger. The current frame doesn't affect functionality, but I prefer to rest my palm more comfortably.
Overall, this mouse fits extremely well for my eSports gaming needs. It could be bigger, but that's more of a preference rather than critique.

I have been a fan of Razer keyboards for years, but I must admit that I haven’t had much experience with Razer mice. So, I was incredibly excited to get my hands on The Cobra Pro. Initial impressions are good. The mouse is light. The lighting effects are fantastic. Movement and button responsiveness have been right on the money. If it weren’t for some quibbles over battery life, software, and a rather difficult to access storage bay for the 2.4ghz receiver, I would say the mouse was near perfect for gaming.
Setup: Inside the box you get the mouse, a charging cable, a 2.4ghz nano receiver, and an adapter / extender for the 2.4ghz receiver. You will need Razer Synapse to tweak features and set up mouse lighting. Best to download that and have it ready to go. Out of the box, my mouse had around 72% charge. Plenty enough charge to set it up and it took me less than 30 minutes to then top the mouse off.
I paired the mouse with a Windows 11 PC with a 12th Gen Intel i7 processor, an AMD 6750XT video card, and a Razer Black Widow Elite keyboard.
Experience: The Cobra Pro is a light mouse. It smoothly glides across my hard mouse mat. Buttons are responsive. DPI toggles are easy to use. The Cobra Pro is not the lightest mouse I have ever used, but it is pretty light.
It’s also a bit smaller than I expected. If you are the type to prefer smaller mice, this won’t be a problem. If you prefer the “claw” type of mouse hold, this won’t be a problem. But, if you prefer your mouse bigger or have particularly big hands, this could be an issue. For me, it was just big enough. I really like the textured grip. The buttons are super responsive.
I tested the mouse using the 2.4ghz nano receiver and over Bluetooth. I was glad that lighting effects worked over both connections. I noticed no additional latency over Bluetooth. The mouse remained fast and responsive regardless of which wireless standard I used.
I really appreciate the button placement of this mouse. I never found myself accidentally clicking buttons during gameplay. Buttons are super responsive.
Razer was my first experience with keyboard lighting. I still think Razer’s software is some of the easiest for setting up lighting effects. Many games come with custom lighting profiles, and it was cool having my mouse and my keyboard syncing up their light displays while gaming. However, if I let the mouse go idle and then reawakened it during a game, it didn’t always sync back up with the lighting effect and would instead default to a rainbow display.
Battery life was a bit of a mixed bag. I got more battery life with lighting turned off, but with lighting on, I got around 22 to 23 hours of battery life. That’s not awful, but it was a bit disappointing. The lighting is such a huge selling point to the mouse.
There is a storage bay on the bottom of the mouse where you can keep the nano receiver. I’m used to magnetic covers for those storage bays. This mouse uses a twist cover. I found it a little difficult to open. It’s functional but seemed needlessly difficult in my opinion.
Conclusion: This is a well-designed gaming mouse. It looks and feels good. I wish it had better battery life with RGB lights enabled. That’s really my only real gripe with the mouse. Everything else is a nitpick. So, in conclusion, I recommend the Cobra Pro. It’s a solid gaming mouse. Just know that battery life may be a bit shorter than expected with lights enabled.

The Razer Cobra is a feature-rich wireless gaming mouse that offers excellent build quality, a top-tier sensor, and multiple connectivity options. It is a great choice for gamers who want a mouse for competitive esports.
Build quality
The Cobra is built with high-quality materials and construction, with no creaking, flexing, or M1/M2 wobble. It feels solid and durable in the hand. The rubber side grips are comfortable to use and provide a good grip.
Sensor
The Cobra is equipped with the Razer Focus Pro 30,000 DPI optical sensor, which provides accurate and consistent tracking for all gaming needs. I didn't have any issues with tracking or cursor movement while using the Cobra.
Connectivity
The Cobra can be connected to up to three devices simultaneously via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, or wired connection. This is great if you want to use the same mouse with your PC, laptop, and phone. The 2.4GHz wireless connection provides a lag-free gaming experience.
Switches
The Cobra uses Razer's Gen 3 optical switches, which are designed to be durable and reliable, with no double-clicking issues. I've been using the Cobra for a few weeks now and I haven't had any issues with the switches.
Other features
A rubberized mouse wheel that feels great to use and has a satisfying click.
A DPI button that allows you to quickly change the DPI setting.
A profile button that allows you to save up to 5 different profiles.
A USB-C connector for easy charging and connectivity.
Chroma RGB lighting that can be customized to your liking.
Overall
The Razer Cobra is a great wireless gaming mouse that offers excellent build quality, a top-tier sensor, and multiple connectivity options. It is lightweight and feels great in the hand, however it is on the smaller side for bigger hands like mine.

More features than your typical wireless mouse

This is the first wireless mouse I have had that has customizable multi-zone RGB coloring on it. On top of having 5 storable profiles, adjustable DPI, programmable buttons, ability to switch between Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz dongle and wired and be charged wirelessly with the dock that is sold separately. It’s no wonder it feels a little heavier than your typical mouse. As for the switching between devices, you can easily swap between BT and dongle, so I have 2 computers using the same mouse, but if you plug it up wired, it takes over regardless of what the switch is on.
To take full advantage of the mouse, you have to have the Razer Synapse software. But, you can program up to 5 different profiles saved to the device with different colors, keybinds and some stored macros. However, some functions still require the Synapse software to work.
Overall, a full featured wireless mouse that seems very responsive even 10 feet from where my computer is and very fitting to my hand. As with most things, it comes down to personal feelings on the grip and worth checking out in the store. If you want to take it on the go, just pull out the dongle and store it in the bottom.

THIS… is the Razer Cobra Pro Wireless and it has slotted itself in a weird place amongst mice, the price of superlights without being superlight, wireless, cool rgb… where does this mouse belong? In the era of superlights, is a bit of heft a dealbreaker? Let's take a look at the Razer Cobra Pro Wireless and see if this mouse stacks up to its 77g worth of HEFT and the tech that Razer was able to shove in it.
Lighting
===========
The lighting on this mouse is some of the best I have seen on a mouse, with wrap-around underglow lighting on the mouse as well as accent lighting on the top as well as around the scroll wheel. The lighting is absolutely phenomenal and really looks great at night where the underglow makes its presence known. This is all, of course, controlled through Razers lighting software called Razer Chroma. The app itself is good, not groundbreaking, but I have never had any hiccups or bumps with it. The underglow is individually addressable to create color zones as well. This is absolutely part of the weight added to the mouse, and for me personally, I think it is worth it.
Performance
===========
With a proven 30k sensor and a price that supports it, razer means business. With a max acceleration of 70g, max IPS speed of 750 and 30,000 dpi from its ‘Focus Pro 30k optical sensor’ you are certainly not missing any features as far as performance goes. This is also the same sensor found in the Viper Pro V2 and The DeathAdder V3 Pro. Something to note is that this mouse does come with wireless charging should you get the mousepad to support it, and it does work on my logitech powerplay wireless charging pad, however, I am certain Razer would say to use only razer products for wireless charging.
Weight
===========
Now this is where all the hate is coming from, as this mouse does come in 77g which… doesnt sound like a lot? The Logitech G Pro Superlight is ~63g and the Death Adder at ~59g… this is essentially just a luxurious DeathAdder. I mean seriously, this is almost the exact same mouse just with RGB and a few more buttons. The exact same sensor and layout. This just isn’t what Razer is using to compete on the superlight pro scene, given by the RGB alone… so to judge this mouse (and to be fair it is still light) on an extra 12-13g is excessive.
Conclusion
===========
This is another great entry by Razer and something that really most people are looking at anyways. A light, good looking mouse with decent software at a price that doesn't want to make you resell it. I really enjoyed testing this mouse next to the likes of the superlight, deathadder and the likes because it reminded me that we can still have good looking mice that still perform and don’t have to be lighter than air. I game competitively, but I also like a good looking setup… and I think this is that gray area that needed to be serviced and Razer just killed it with this mouse. As always, Bestbuy has an excellent return policy and even better customer service, so you never have to worry about buying a product that you don’t like… so why not test it out?!

Accurate Little Mice!

The Razer Cobra Pro mouse is a nicely crafted super accurate gaming mouse. This mouse has 30k DPI, 11 customizable LEDs zones, and 10 customizable macro controls. It can be used via wired with included USB-C wire or wireless with Bluetooth or the included 2.4Ghz band receiver. It has an internal battery and you recharge it with the USB-C cable. The battery is rated over 100hrs depending on the wireless connection used and DPI settings. I have been using it at 3200 DPI with the included Hyperspeed wireless dongle and the battery has been excellent. After several days of use, approximately 4 the batteries were at 75%. That was also with the Chroma effects on. Setting it up super easy, if you plug it in at first it will trigger Razer software installation.
The mouse it’s super accurate and honestly 30k DPI is insane. At 6400 the mouse becomes too sensitive for me at least. I do like the fact that you can set 5 different stages for the DPI settings and use the buttons above the wheel to select them while you’re using the mouse. The bottom feet are super smooth, one of the smoothest I have used. The buttons are soft and responsive. And the wheel feels about right. This mouse honestly is not that big and it can easily be used by left handed. Someone with a big hand will definitely find it small. I have a medium size hand and it covers it almost entirely. The lights are bright with good color reproductions. With the Razor software you can do plenty of customization to even sync with other Razer peripherals.
With only 7 buttons including the wheel you may be limited to customization if you're one of those who you map most of your mouse buttons. Overall this is a great gaming mouse extremely accurate and it goes well with other Razer Chroma peripherals. Customizable to the teeth and it can be used wired or wireless providing you a lot of flexibility. With very good battery life it keeps you gaming for days. In the box you get the mouse, USB-C cable, wireless dongle, USB-A to USB-C adapter and manuals.

Razer Cobra Pro - Excellent mouse!

I really am enjoying this Razer Cobra Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse. First thing is, I think I’m a gamer because I try to play games on a PC and I have a PS5. The truth is, I’m still TRYING to play. A lot of this stuff is way over my head. This mouse has so many features most of which I am certain I will never use, but what I am using it for it does really, really well and I am loving it!! When I’m not trying to game, I do have a long history with PCs & mice.
I love the pinpoint accuracy and responsiveness of this mouse - The 30k optical sensor surely helps with that! The mouse glides smoothly and accurately across my oak desk, the arm of my sofa or a cardboard box (yes, I did that!). I would imagine it could work on just about any surface. They claim it will even work on glass.
I love the look and feel of this mouse. To me, it is lightweight and extremely easy to maneuver. It fits great in my hand so that will help me ergonomically. And those bright colors! I just love how the colors on and around the bottom of the mouse change. I would imagine if you were REALLY gaming and using all the functions and buttons, the colors would be out of this world.
They say this mouse should last up to 90 million clicks with no double clicking issues. That’s crazy good, because you know how you get those troublesome random double clicks when you’re not gaming? That is super important not to have random double clicking when you are gaming. You are able to set this up with 5 memory profiles using commands and macros. This mouse comes with a USB dongle, a dongle adapter USB A-C, and a type USB A to C cable. Everything I needed came in the box.
I am absolutely going to keep this Razer Cobra Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse, not a doubt in my mind. I thought this would make game playing easier for me, and its ease of use, comfort and accuracy has has already done that. There is so much to love about this mouse, even if you are not an expert gamer. It is just a fantastic mouse and I highly recommend it.

I believe this Gaming Mice is getting a lot of unfair hate. The Cobra Pro is light, small but not tiny. The click sounds nice, and it slides well on the mouse pad and on hard surface. I even find myself using the mice on my lap.
The RGB lighting is really cool when it's sync with the Razor Keyboard. It's both Bluetooth and USB connected. The battery is really good, and it comes with a type A to type C charger. It also is compatible with wireless charging.
I know the Viper is getting lots of love, but I believe this Cobra Pro deserves more love too. By the way the White Cobra Pro looks super nice!!!

Really Great Mouse

Trying out Razer’s newest customizable wireless gaming mouse called the Cobra Pro, I am more impressed with this mouse than I ever thought I would be using any mouse period. Simple to connect, simple to use, and very stylish.
Made of high-quality plasticsand high end optic, everything about this wireless gaming mouse, feels premium. Any gaming mouse can have RGB lights these days, but the lighting on this mouse is on another level, I’m especially impressed by what Razer calls the underglow. The only way I can describe this underglow is if you’ve ever seen ambient lighting on a high end vehicle, that ambient lighting is what this resembles, underneath the mouse.
With 10 programmable controls, the great lighting effects that I talked about and a 30k optical sensor, this gaming mouses, super fast, super sleek and overall just a great gaming mouse.
It can be connected in one of three ways, wired with the provided cable, and may I add that the cable is really nice, It’s got like a nylon braided pattern to it, it’s long enough to reach. Across your whole desk.
The second way is wirelessly, which, in my opinion is the best way to go. Insert the wireless USB dongle to the back of your PC or keyboard (if supported) turn on the mouse, by flicking the switch, which is located at the bottom of the mouse, and you’re good to go. The third way is also wireless, but this time you connect the wireless USB dongle to the included USB dongle adapter, then to the USB cable and that’s it! If all this seems complicated, it’s really not. Literally plug and play, if only everything else could be this simple.
I really recommend this gaming mouse, it’s got everything you need at a good price, I think you’ll be really happy with it.

I bought this to replace my 2020 Razer Viper Ultimate mainly for the following reasons: smaller shape to better match my hand size, Bluetooth connectivity to avoid having to relocate my adapter between devices or plug in via a cable, and USB-C charging to reduce the number of cables on my desk. It succeeds on all of those fronts.
I do notice the slight weight increase from the Viper Ultimate despite being physically smaller, but personally the size difference more than offsets that weight.
The biggest problem with this mouse for me is the scroll wheel. Within the first few weeks of ownership, it developed an issue where it would occasionally scroll in the wrong direction. I reached out to Razer who suggested a few fixes, which reduced but did not completely eliminate the problem. I was then provided a replacement, which I currently use, but that also developed the infrequent incorrect scrolling direction issue. I've decided to stick with the mouse for now as it's infrequent and non-problematic for my use case when it does happen. But if you think it's something that might bother you, or you notice weird scrolling with yours from time to time, it may be worth trying to get it fixed or replaced.
3 years of my Viper were flawless. It's unfortunately not the case with this Cobra.
