for all of the high 5 star reviews, they got the mouse tried it out and realized its a fantastic mouse, i'm writing this review after having the product for 2 months, and i can say the build is awful. my right mouse click is completely unresponsive and is starting to double-click and the scroll is getting looser and looser and feels as if it will break any second, yes razer said they fixed all of this on the elite, but no they didn't. if i pay 60 bucks for a mouse it should last years not months. i wish razer would actually fix their build quality because the mice are great they just don't last, i think i'm going to try zowie now.... don't buy razer mice people, waste of money! oh and btw i'm not a razer hater, i've used the blackwidow chroma 2014 since release, never had a problem

I found this mouse to be perfectly balanced for my hands.

The scroll wheel stopped clicking within months. Contacted Razer since it was within warranty, and they replaced the mouse. With the replacement, the green RGB lights stopped working completely, could only get shades of blue or red. A couple of months later, the scroll wheel again had problems, but now it would double click half the time when I wasn't trying to. Then I could barely use the scroll wheel at all because it would jump back the opposite direction I was scrolling, so it was completely inaccurate. THEN only weeks later, the left mouse button would not stay held down when I tried highlighting a sentence/area. I can't believe how many unrelated problems I had with this thing. It was the first and last razer product I'll ever own.

Right click started messing up not long after I got the mouse. Problem seems well documented. First Razer product and last.

This mouse is relatively comfortable for a palm grip like myself, but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The left and right mouse buttons require very little force to be actuated, so it leads to a lot of misclicks. In addition, I grip my mouse very tightly when I game. This lead to the rubber on the right side of the mouse becoming dislodged within a month of use. This might not be a factor for everyone, but I highly recommend purchasing the Geek Squad Protection in the event something like this does end up happening within 2 years!

The mouse was a bit too big for my hands. Switches felt stiff and hard to press. Switched this out for the Logitech G Pro.

I recently bought this mouse and I dislike it. The first day I tested out the mouse and its response time to clicks is very bad. I had a Razer Naga Hex V2 before purchasing this one and I think I might just purchase a mouse from another company. If you want a more high quality mouse then you are better off purchasing something from Corsair. If you wanna stick with Razer get the Razer Mamba Tournament Edition.

Great mouse, whoever invented the scroll wheel on this model needs to be fired and never design the scroll wheel again. The design makes the scroll wheel squeak after a few months of use 100% of the time went through 3 of these so far!

if i move my mouse using only my hand and not moving my arm, keeping my wrist in one spot, i find that the mouse has poor tracking because when i move it side to side, the cursor on my screen starts to move up slowly. In intense moments in gaming where you cant afford to lift your mouse of the pad, I find my mouse at the lower edge of the desk struggling to keep it on since I have to adjust my movement accordingly. (since my mouse has poor tracking and moves up, I have to adjust my moving my hand down) Don't buy, tracking sucks.
