You can never have to many bottoms. From What Gaming Mouse.... "Razer gave this old serpent a refresh touch in 2016, and the updated version appeared as DeathAdder Elite. Bottom Line. The only bad point about Razer DeathAdder is that adding only 2 extra buttons in whole year is a mild update. Otherwise, there is nothing to be fixed. It is easy to understand and it performs perfectly across wide array of games genres."

This is the second Razer-DeathAdder Elite Wired Gaming Mouse I have owned. I'm not a gamer but use my computer a lot...several hours a day and this mouse can handle it. Paired with the Razer Black Widow Ultimate keyboard, it's a total win situation and both can take the daily workout they get. Spend the money and get the quality. You won't be disappointed.

My work got us the Razer DeathAdder mouse awhile back, so I use it a lot there. I like the feel of it. So when I got some extra best buy rewards, I picked up the updated version which is the DeathAdder Elite for home use. I think it is better than the original. It can do the Chroma lighting effects, but they aren't as impressive as the keyboard, so look into getting that too. The mouse is still cool though. Otherwise no complaints.

I use this for both gaming and work, so I switch DPI depending on what I'm doing. The software works well enough and having it auto-switch profiles for specific games is a great quality-of-life feature. The mouse itself has never given me any problems. This is my second Razer mouse after switching from a decade of Logi mice. No issues so far!

Very high DPI, with seven buttons (including mouse 3 button). The thumb buttons are in a great position, also the right and left mouse buttons are at different, but comfortable positions. The only downside is that with larger hands and longer fingers, it is difficult at times to use sniper buttons without bending your middle finger. Left handed users will find this mouse awkward and difficult to use.

    "OK" mouse, horrid software/driver(s)...

The mouse itself is rather nice. Tracking is spot-on and the LED lighting feature is acceptable (not "over-the-top" or "tacky"). At 16,000 DPI your your onscreen mouse cursor will move faster than Superman, so unless you have the reflexes of a ninja don't plan on using that setting. However, at lower DPI settings the mouse comes into its own and has a comfortable ergonomic feel that is not straining to hold for extended periods of time. Regardless of form and function, it does still feel rather over-priced. It's light-weight and seemingly chintzy plastic shell make it feel "cheap" and the more I had used it the more I pondered why I paid as much as I did for it. When held, the weight of the mouse seems uneven leaving me to wonder if they placed a weight inside it just to give it some heft. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but if you LAN and take your mouse on the go I could not foresee this thing taking the punishment of several unanticipated falls. Yet even with all that stated, it leads me to the next predicament, and one that is the major deal breaker... The Razer Synapse software that is used for this mouse (e.g. to support all its bells and whistles) crashes my computer. Not only does one have to create an account (yeah! an account to manipulate mouse settings) but the mouse and software combination would randomly lock my computer up and force a restart. This situation did not play out for 2 other mice that I've used before and after - Just this one! I have also read of a similar situation online of an individual with the same problem; "Razer Synapse software crashes their computer". Something to be weary of.

I’m not going into depth about this mouse since it has been out forever. You can find some comprehensive reviews online. Overall, it’s a great gaming mouse and a great mouse for casual use. It’s extremely comfortable and easy to customize with the Razer software. Don’t hesitate. Get this mouse! (Logitech G502 is still my favorite in case you were wondering)

It works well. I do not use it for gaming (except Tetris and solitaire!) so I can't comment on that use. It has many adjustments for its many switches and they can be reassigned or turned off. I find it comfortable, as it is not small (I dislike small mice since they give me hand cramps). It was quite a value on sale.

The only downside in my opinion is the price, other than that its an all around great mouse. The feel matches the price as it has a little weight to it, but not heavy, and has smooth movements. 2 big side buttons really handy in games. The braided cord and rubber spin wheel are nice touches It also comes with a pretty cool software that can track stats and change setting like lights for any Razer products you have.

My son loves this mouse but said it had features not really necessary. He removed the numbers and still lives it. Very responsive, and he loves that it lights up.

I bought this on a whim after giving up on Razer's build quality years ago. I'm glad that I tried this 1. It's grippy, responsive, and fun to use. However, it's a tad big and heavier than the new V2. The cord is also problematic and catches on everything. This made it hard on my wrist as I contorted to avoid the cable from catching. Still, it's 1 of the top 3 mice I've used and I recommend it for right-handers with good cable management. I did end up moving to a V2 model but had QC issues and had to exchange it for another - which worked fine.
