It's smooth and soft. Not a powerhouse but the two buttons on the sides can be mapped. It's just a good mouse.

The Razer-Death Adder Gaming Mouse 2013 is a good gaming mouse and perfect for the games i play.

My son loves this mouse. He uses it all the time with his custom deaktop.

I liked this mouse right away. Fits well in the hand, love the thumb buttons, nice grips and quite precise. However the mouse wheel broke after only about 2 months of use. It does come with a 2 year warranty but that was just a hassle I really shouldn't have put up with so soon.

Such a high-quality mouse as Razer's Death Adder is hard to come by. I'm very particular in my mouse button layouts, and this one is absolutely perfect. The ergonomic contours are standard, but not anything too fancy that would require acclimation. The 2013 edition of the Death Adder has the highest DPI and sensitivity, though it's easily customizable and Razer provides free software for multiple setting profiles on their website. For those accustomed to using a mouse with their right hand (especially for gaming) the side buttons are perfectly placed; if you have a button on either lateral side of the mouse it's often easy to inadvertently press the side on which your fingers sit. Some gamers (such as MMORPG gamers) may prefer to have additional macro buttons on the side but I find them to be a hindrance and make the mouse too large for my taste. Button function is extremely smooth and highly responsive. Even if not gaming, this mouse is perfect for everyday use and, as is standard with Razer products these days, comes with a nylon braid cord to prevent pinching or wire breakage. The light weight of the mouse did require some getting used to after 3+ years of using a heavier mouse, so I acknowledge this may be a hurdle for some. Industry standard plug-and-play installation is a breeze for preparation. With every purchase of Razer products I become more and more a fan and proponent of their products. The 2013 Edition Razer Death Adder has not been an exception. If you want a professional-grade mouse that will last through demands of any sort at a very reasonable I whole-heartedly suggest this one.

The main issue is that the cord is relatively heavy, and the mouse is light, and that throws of the fine tuning that is needed for small targets and some games.
