Dead accurate, so-so ergonomics
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a mouse to replace and/or beat my old Logitech G5 that died. After reading some reviews about the ergonomics and performance, I decided to give it a shot. Priced at the high end of midrange, just like the G5, there's no sticker shock. Performance-wise, it beats the G5 in every way. Response is perfect, and the accuracy is amazing. I changed the 2 side buttons to Sensitivity Clutch using the Razer Synapse 2.0 software. This means that when I press one of the buttons, the sensitivity changed to whatever I chose as long as I hold one of the buttons (400 dpi for sniping, 2700 dpi for fast menuevering). Besides those, I keep it at 1100 dpi all the time, with Accelleration turned off and polling rate at 1000. Ergonomics are important, and this mouse is not as good as the G5 in that department. I prefer to palm my mouse, which I can't do comfortably with this mouse. I end up having to claw-grip it, which fatigues my hand after a short time. If i had a mouse pad that has a built-in wrist pad, then I could palm it easier. The G5 was a palm mouse, but it seems like this one is meant for both types of usage. This DeathAdder isn't great for claw-gripping though, as now the right-side of my hand is actually sore from an hour of gaming last night. Maybe my hand will get used to it, or else I'll switch to the Logitech G400s.

Loving this mouse.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally I picked up this mouse because of a wicked deal Best Buy had to get a Steam card along with it but I had been looking for a new mouse for a while. The one I'm replacing is a Logitech MX Revolution. I have loved that mouse for some time and had a few reservations about returning to a wired mouse but all my fears were unfounded. The installation was so easy it almost seemed like I didn't have to be there. After setting up my account I set up a few macros, changed some mouse bindings and figured out which level of sensitivity I was comfortable with. They even let you bind keys to cycling through sensitivity levels on the fly and calibrate your mouse pad. This lets you set up how much space you are working with and whether or not you are using a Razer mousepad. Overall I am very happy with this product and if something goes wrong down the road I will make sure and amend anything. If you are looking for a new mouse this one is the perfect price.

Comfortable and accurate, but questionable quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I replaced my small old mouse with this, it was such a massive difference in comfort. The precision is really good, and the tactile buttons are really nice. The rubber grips are really helpful and the mouse looks really cool. However, not long after I bought it, the mouse wheel made a clicking noise when I scroll up, and the wheel button does not work anymore. I almost never use the wheel button, so I assume it stopped working when the wheel started to make the clicking noise.

nimble mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a Logitech gaming mouse that had worn out buttons. Hadn't had buttons wear out on a mouse since the early days when mice were first introduced. Looking for an alternative to the low-quality Logitech products all over the market, I decided to give the Razer mice a chance. It feels very light, nimble, and accurate. The config software is a bit bloated but that's rarely open so not a big deal. There's a good amount of options, plenty for an occasional gamer such as myself.

Great Gaming Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is great, I bought this to replace my old gaming mouse. At first touch, it was very comfortable, fits well in my hand, and the Razer logo that pulses is pretty awesome. For gaming, the mouse is very accurate, the Razer Synapse program let's you change the psi to how quickly or slowly you want the cursor to move. So this let's you set it up for whatever game you're about to play.

Fantastic mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my fair share of mice in the last decade and this is by far the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. I had the Razer Tron mouse previously (which is asthetically pleasing, but didn't fit in my hand very well) and this is a HUGE improvement! My primary gaming console is my PC and gaming for a couple hours used to give me cramps in my wrist and arm. Not anymore. I've had this mouse for 3 months without any pain at all. The sensitivity is fantastic without any hiccups. For someone with large hands, this mouse fits perfectly in my hand. EXTREMELY happy with this purchase, fantastic product by RAZER.

DEATHADDER IS LIKE PLAYING CS WITH AIMBOT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AIMBOT WHEN COMPARED TO A STOCK LAGGY MOUSE, when I used my microsoft intellimouse the feel was kinda laggy and unrespponsive and got me killed alot, the DA2013 is very precise and very responsive, making for accuracy being wonderful, just like using hacks or something lol

Highly recommended gaming mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this mouse during the Steam Wallet promotion and after receiving it I can understand why my friends have been raving about it. Practically all my friends use the DeathAdder 2013. This mouse is very ergonomic as well as having a silky smooth movement. Being able to finely adjust the DPI is also a huge plus. The only downside (and this is me trying to find one) is that I can't change the color of the glow. Not a big deal at all. I would highly recommend this mouse.

Worth it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am sad to announce the death of my first Razer mouse! It's been about four years since my husband gifted me with my Death Adder and it's been through quite a lot. I'm an avid gamer and computer enthusiast but underestimated the importance of a quality mouse. Four years! Well worth the initial investment and now when my husband and I want to give a computer peripheral we check with Razer first. I write this after just returning from the store to replace my current dying mouse. The cashier mentioned he was interested in trying one for himself and I encouraged him to do so as I encourage the rest of you as well. Game on :)

Great Gaming mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse in the local store as my first gaming mouse. It works as advertised. I'm not a terribly huge fan of the synapse 2.0 software you have to use to get it to work as advertised, but once you set the sensitivity to where it feels generally good, you can fiddle around with the sensitivity settings in your games to perfect everything without messing with the synapse stuff anymore. Great mouse, not great software running it. If synapse was more user friendly this would be 5 stars easy. Except for the front mouse button of the two buttons on the side. When I first got the mouse it would stick until I got sick of it sticking and furiously clicked the mess out of it. Never sticks now.

Great mouse, but doesn't play nice with Mac
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse and have been loving it. I use it from gaming. I got it on sale for $40, which is decent but I'd recommend waiting for it to become cheaper. Anyway, it works great on my PC but has been giving me nothing but problems on my Mac (it double clicks everything half the time when I'm clearly only clicking once, closing windows I didn't want closed and such). I'm almost 100% sure it's just Razer not caring enough to make sure their drivers are up to date, since Apple updates their OS on a nearly yearly basis.

Great mouse, and even better for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse seems far better than the price suggests. I got it for even cheaper for around 35 dollars when it was on sale, and it's better than mice that I've spent more money on. Absolutely love this mouse and the settings exceed what I expected. High quality feel, and the clickers don't feel too heavy either. Great mouse!

A mouse that takes gaming to a new level
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse changed my entire gaming experience, from its easy to hold design to the fact that it is super comfortable for long gaming marathons, this mouse is one of the few products i've ever written a review for, but its just that great, and I want other gamers out there to experience this level of accurate, lightning fast response, and super comfortable design like I did. Keeping things simple, without the ridiculously complex 80 buttons on a mouse like some products, this mouse is clean, effective, and has all of its features done right, which is far more important that some bulky, hard to use 80 featured mouse that only has 5 things on it that work properly. I'm beyond impressed, i'm overjoyed. Take my word for it, the mouse is so worth it.

Great first gaming mouse!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first gaming mouse. I liked a lot how this mouse was so easy to adapt to and pick up. To be honest, I really don't know much about mice and what good specs are... But I wanted a nice one and the Razer DeathAdder 2013 is amazing! It is extremely comfortable and easy to use. This was a big plus for me because I wanted to avoid any wrist/shoulder pains. The Razer Synapse 2.0 gives a lot of great customization options and the two extra buttons are just enough for a small time "gamer" like me (I mostly play League). Movement is very smooth and the different speed settings are very accurate and responsive. It's a great mouse and I have no regrets! Would 100% recommend. Can't wait to see what Razer has in store for the future (:

Great Product, easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a Razer Death adder for a long time, I then upgraded to the "Black" edition a couple years ago. I was ready for a new mouse with better grip and higher DPI. This new(ish) Deathadder met and exeeded those expectations. The rubber gripping is excellent, the high DPI is fantastic and the mouse feels better than ever in my hand. I tried lots of other mice before this one and deciding on it as my continued mouse line of choice. I would highly recommend this to any serious FPS gamer looking to increase DPI and have a very precise game. I use this for Titanfall, BF4, and more!

Great update to a great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned the Razer Deathadder 3500 for 3 years and I have to say that this new version, the 2013 Razer Deathadder 6400 DPI model is an improvement. It is the same size, shape, and weight of the older model, but it has improved grip, DPI (sensitivity), and the light has changed from blue to green. There is a little bit of texture on the overall mouse, which I quite enjoy. Rubber grips on where the thumb and pinky go have also been added. The DPI has gone up from 3500 to 6400 and the sensor has gone from 3.5G to 4G.

Simple Design but includes a lot of features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The grips on the sides make the mouse easy to grip and move around. The mouse buttons are wide and respond everywhere on the buttons. I upgraded from the old Deathadder and it was a smooth transition.

We love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second DeathAdder mouse that we got for my husband's computer. The first one we got the original in 2006 it lasted us 7 years before we had to replace it. This one is much faster than the original and it provides better gaming for my husband. We also have a razer gaming keyboard that he also loves :) We are definitely razer brand for life.
