    Comfort and performance

I got this mouse to pair with a black widow ultimate and I couldn't be happier. This mouse is super comfortable for long periods of use, has very precise tracking, and features a ton of options. Unboxing and setup were a breeze. I already had the synapse 2.0 software installed, so once I plugged in the mouse synapse said it was updating, and in a minute I was good to go. First I want to say the look of this mouse is very nice. It has this matte black finish that has a slight texture to it which is very comfortable in the hand. The mouse wheel is lit [green] on either edge, and there is a razer logo where your palm rests that glows and gently pulses. It's a very nice look, especially when sitting next to the Black Widow Ultimate. The Software Synapse has two top level settings; Mouse, and Macros. Under Mouse there are sub menus as follows; customize, performance, lighting, and calibration. Under customize you can assign commands to every button on the mouse except for left click, create profiles for different usage scenarios (think specific game settings or even working in specific apps like excel), as well as the ability to link programs to specific profiles so the mouse automatically loads up these presets upon launch. Under performance you're given a lot of options that govern mouse sensitivity. Again you have the option to create profiles and link them to specific programs. You can enable different sensitivity settings for both x-y movement, up to a threshold of 6400 dpi. You also have acceleration and polling options. You can configure up to 5 stages of sensitivity that can be changed on the fly. All you have to do is assign one button to "on the fly", once you press it the scroll wheel will increase and decrease your dpi. Simple. Combined with profiles these options offer a lot of control over how you interact with each game. I find it easier to create profiles for each game since it seems like every game has a vastly different mousing environment. Shooters, rts, mobas, mmos, and action games all have dramatically different sensitivities, so it's nice to have such fine granular control. And the on the fly sensitivity is great to have in specific scenarios, .e.g playing as a sniper in a shooter. I like to dial back the sensitivity when I'm scoped, and ramp it back up when zoomed out. Lighting gives you a few by now familiar options, profile and program linking, as well as the option to turn the lights on the mouse on or off, and as the ability to automatically turn the mouse lights off when your display is turned off. There are lights on the mouse wheel and base of the mouse on the razer logo. The razer logo slowly pulses, and I would like an option to enable/disable this feature, as well as control the speed of the pulse, but sadly that's not possible. Not really a con. Calibration is a fairly unique section, as it offers you even finer control over mouse performance based on the kind of mouse pad/gaming mat you have. I have the razer kabuto, which I selected from a drop down menu, and the mouse seems to work extremely well with the mat and these settings. The surface provides excellent tracking with no cursor jumping whatsoever. There is also an option called "liftoff range" which I haven't fiddled with, but I'm assuming it controls how high off of the surface you can lift the mouse before it stops tracking. The default works very well for me. The macro interface is just as polished as the rest of the mouse settings. You can create macros, set their name, assign any keystroke combination you want, and even set delays. The delay feature is really nice when your input is time locked in a specific scenario, if an ability has a global cooldown for instance. Very simple and straightforward. This mouse is simply fantastic. It's easily the most comfortable mouse I've ever used, it has incredibly accurate tracking, and the degree of control it can provide in every game environment is frankly staggering. I'll admit to being a little bit intimidated with all of the settings at first, but I'm definitely getting more comfortable with the software. Setting up profiles in the games you play is something of a time consuming process, but it's totally worth the effort, and if you're buying this mouse in the first place it's probably a safe bet that you're the type of individual who isn't afraid to tinker with their settings until they're perfect. So far I have settings for Star Craft II, Guild Wars 2, TF2, Hawken, and Lol, and I'm pretty happy with the sensitivities and macros that I currently have, though I may add further customization later. **note to everyone who installs this product, install the synapse software first. once it's installed go into the settings and find the option to register your product. just fill out your personal info and hit send and you're product will immediately be registered to you and your warranty activated. no searching around and typing in long serial and product numbers. simple**

So I was just hoping to get a decent gaming mouse for playing games like Titanfall and Guild Wars 2. I saw the mouse on the shelf and thought I'd buy it; Razer hasn't disappointed me before with Game Booster and Razer Surround, so I expected the DeathAdder mouse to have the same level of reliability. So far, it has not disappointed. Fits right in my hand, something that my old mouse failed to do, which gives the DeathAdder points in my mind. Additionally, the two buttons on the left-hand side free up my keyboard fingers by taking on tasks that would normally require more attention on the part of my keyboard hand, such as pressing the melee button in Titanfall. And thanks to the DeathAdder's compatibility with Razer Synapse, I can easily set the sensitivity (in DPI, of course) of the mouse itself, without having to fiddle around with the Mouse Settings that Microsoft has in there somewhere. Overall, so far it's a great mouse! I'd highly recommend it or any of Razer's mice to anyone looking for a good gaming mouse at a decent price for the quality.

Because this is not my first gaming mouse of this price, I think I am qualified to say that this is a more that worth it's cost. Although the clicking is a bit noiser than most mouse and it only has two additional buttons, it is beyond amazing on its other qualities. Th speed And the texture of the mouse is better than any other mouse I have used of similar price.

I've had this mouse for a few days now and I love it. The design is sleek and it's comfortable in my hand. It looks awesome, but works even better. I haven't ever had a mouse with such great accuracy and it makes all the difference.

Very ergonomic and comfortable to handle, very soft cable, in general is a great product. Works great with games too. So far has worked in any table surface. The mouse has a very nice build and even the cord it's really high quality, I don't see it breaking for a big while.

    Beautiful piece of computer hardware

This is my first gaming mouse. Came from a Microsoft wireless Laptop mouse. The RAZER Deathadder is a very comfortable mouse with a nice matte feeling. Its very comfortable to do long gaming sessions with. One thing you might want to get along with this mouse is a mouse pad. It works like a normal mouse supposed to. But on a wooden computer desk it gets a little finicky sometimes and the cursor would jump around. Ive updated the drivers and minimized any mouse jumps by using a mouse pad and tweaked the sensitivity via Razer Synapse 2.0 . The Razer Deathadder is a beautiful piece of hardware. Very sleek in design which really adds a lot of aesthetics to my gaming PC setup. Its not crazy and flashy looking like some other devices out there. Just the way I like it. Only problem I see is its hard to justify the cost for the mouse. Hopefully I wont have to purchase another for awhile.

One of the best gaming mice around

This isn't my first DeathAdder. In fact, the only reason I had to replace the old one is because I broke it in a dumb way (pulling it by the cable rather than grabbing the unit) -- out of warranty. This new model is just as consistent, comfortable and worth a purchase than my first one. Add in that this one was bundled with a Steam deal, and it's a recipe for perfection. If you're looking for a gaming mouse, the DeathAdder 2013 should definitely make the final cut!

Well, i needed a gaming mouse, and I definitely found it. Although it looks simple, this mouse is a beast. After a few weeks of getting used to it, it really feels amazing. Outstanding performance and a comfortable shape make it an essential gaming gear, an absolute must buy. For FPS games, this mouse is 10/10. Even in MOBAs it has a great run. The only problem is for games such as WoW - you need those extra mouse buttons -, but you should know that when you're looking for your gaming mouse. I'm very satisfied with this mouse, and I definitely recommend it.

I heard of Razer before but I heard that they have expensive and products you could buy better elsewhere. I gave this product a try when I saw my favorite esports player using it. It's definitely worth the price!

    So-So for FPS player

Pros: It has a low DPI which is good for regular gamers The cable is long and well braided. There are rubber padding that keeps the fingers from slipping. Cons: the shape is not good for medium to large hand people. The finger gripping is not conforatble for claw gripping. The color is hard to match other peripherals except peripherals from Razer. It does not have fast DPI change button which is a lost. Thoughts: This mouse is good but for me with big hands and FPS gaming is about speed, I sould go with laser which is like the imperator 2012.

    Comfortable and Responsive Mouse

The Razer Deathaddler 2013 is the "Ergonomic" edition that's sold by multiple other websites. Featuring a green color over the 2012 model, it also sports a number of other key differences, including an updated optical sensor which pushes it to top of it's class in quality, as well as redesigned grips and buttons. The mouse itself is a dream to hold and use, comfortable in the hand, and the textured grips on the side help achieve a proper grip at all times. My only gripe is that the side buttons (there are two) feel slightly cheap and loose at times. Overall, a very solid mouse, and definitely one of the finest. A big step up from 2012's model.

Was in need of a new gaming mouse for the new computer I built. This was on sale during Christmas and I decided to pick it up. It has a clean look and is easy to use, while also being comfortable in the hand. I will probably look into getting a keyboard by Razer also. Would recommend for anyone looking for an all purpose mouse that is also great for gaming.

This mouse is an amazing mouse for anyone who games or even for people who just want a great mouse. It feels very amazing and it fits your hand almost perfectly. You can download a program from Razer's website to change the sensitivity, lights, and program macros. It also comes with a free 2- year warranty. I would recommend this mouse to anybody.

The is by far the best bang for your buck you can get for a gaming mouse. The feel is perfect and the build quality is amazing. Razer cares about the little things such as the cable, which is cloth instead of rubber that can snap. You just need to plug it in and it works. The only downside is for MMOs where it doesn't have a gazilian programmable buttons, but if you don't need that, then this is the perfect gaming mouse.
