Such a fun mouse to use. Great colors and easy to use software for it. The only complaint I have is that you cannot use the scroll wheel to go back a page by pressing it to the left (it does not move to the left so please do not try and force it to).

It's been really useful to play games without issues and browse the net quickly. Being able to change colors and change how fast my mouse moves is great.

Great mouse, good cable, super comfortable shape. Getting some grip tape helps if it's too slippery.

I am a long time DeathAdder fan and have owned many of the old ones up the DeathAdder Elite. Unfortunately my last one stopped working due to a common ESD issue where static electricity builds up inside and causes the left click to stop working. My review is going to be a sort of comparison to the DeathAdder Elite. When I first started using this new mouse I was very hesitant over the new grips but they are growing on me. Basically they added grips that are built into the mouse instead of the old glued on style that peeled off. The old grips were a lot stickier and stuck to your fingers with a claw grip. These new ones feel a lot slipperier at first but once your hand warms up the mouse it creates a nice friction that I can live with. Totally different but it get's the job done. This one now includes better feet made of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTTE). I had custom PTTE Hyperglides on my previous mouse and there's no need to switch these out because they feel exactly the same as Hyperglides! The body style is slightly different and I can hardly tell the difference and I am a size Large in gloves with a 9" hand circumference. The scroll wheel feels different and is more stable stable in my option it just feels better and doesn't have any wobble. The left and right clicks feel different, if I had to explain it I would say it feels more hollow. The switches are optical activated vs the previous mechanical switches. So it sounds different as well but with headphones you're not going to tell. The cord is awesome as well, it's a new material that's a lot lighter you can barley tell there is a cord. Even better with a mouse bungee. The mouse is way lighter and that helps you make quick sweeps across your mouse pad a little bit faster with less effort. My only grips is I wish the grips felt like the old ones but these new ones are currently growing on me at the moment. Would recommend this mouse to anybody, it's a great mouse and should last forever with the new optical switches!

Over a year later with heavy use it's still hanging in there. Not overly pricey either, not a bad lower end choice for games and everyday use.

The Deathadder V2 makes an excellent office mouse!

I'm not a gamer. I bought this mouse because I have a neurological problem with my right hand that caused me to inadvertently click the right mouse button on my Logitech M720 mouse. I had read that some reviews of the Deathadder V2 didn't like the stiffer actuation of its right mouse button, but when I saw that, I was hoping that I had found the mouse that would fit my needs. The Deathadder V2 has far exceeded all of my expectations! Not only did it solve my right-button problem, but it is far more precise and adjustable than my old M720. It's obviously a much different shape and is somewhat larger, but I quickly got used to that and now I find the Deathadder V2 to be more comfortable for all-day office usage, or any usage, for that matter. The thing that was hardest for me to get used to is the incredibly light weight and ease of movement (due to the ptfe feet). I have now gotten used to those things, and in fact, I bought a Steelseries Hard mouse pad, which makes it even easier to slide my mouse around. I am also impressed with the grippy finish and love the rgb, which I have changed to perfectly match the rgb on my X570 Tomahawk motherboard. Great mouse! And, it was very convenient ordering the Deathadder V2 online and then going to my local Best Buy where they brought it out to my car! Almost no wait, either.

I've been using the 'deathadder' varients since release, still one of my favorite mice. Would love to try the wireless version of the v2, but ya know, wireless. Minus the software.. feel is good, decent size, not too heavy at all (in fact personally I wish it was a bit heavier), near perfect tracking.. Actually decent cord length. You can actually change the x/y sensitivity independently etc etc. Great all around mouse!

This is the mouse I started with back in 2013, and for now- it looks like the mouse I'm ending with. I've been through basically every mouse in Best Buy. I'm indecisive, but Best Buy has a great return policy thankfully. From the G Pro Wireless, to the G903, G502 lightspeed, Roccat Kain 200, Steelseries Sensei 10, Razer Viper, Basilisk v2, Viper Ultimate, Glorious Model O, Glorious Model D, Endgame Gear XM1, and even the Deathadder v2 Pro Wireless... This is the mouse I have ended up being the most happy with. The cord is nice and light. The coating is very, very pleasant. The clicks aren't too bad (they're definitely not as good as the G Pro Wireless clicks, but they're light and that's the most important thing to me personally.) The RGB is nice. The software has come a long way. It's fast and not too heavy on the computer. Most importantly- this mouse is comfortable. It's light and has a very nice shape that conforms to pretty much any hand size. My hands are 17cm x 10cm and the mouse feels great. At first, the grip on the sides is slippery. Play with the mouse for like 20 minutes and it'll be nice and grippy. Overall, the mouse is a 10/10 for me. I personally don't like anything else from Razer, but I can't escape using this mouse.

Best all-around mouse on the market--gaming or no

The DeathAdder is by far the best mouse I've ever used. It's typically referred to as a "gaming mouse," but I'd rather use this mouse to post pictures of kittens doing nothing, along on a Saturday night, waiting for those 'likes' than any other mouse costing millions. VERY ergonomic (that's comfortable in layman's terms), for any size hands, men or women... except maybe Trump's little hands. Also extremely useful for making a couple easy hotkeys by your thumb, which I guarantee never get in the way. And a little up-down switch behind the mouse wheel to control sensitivity of movement. If you buy a more expensive mouse, all the more power to you. Some people feel special when they overpay for things. Look at those old guys who drive around in convertables or high school boys who think giant tires make them and their truck kew, and bad to the bone. I'm a bad to the bone with my Viper... the kind that anyone can easily afford -- thus giving them no excuse for not having one.

Great mouse, cord is super lite and doesn’t get caught or drag. Mouse is a little bigger, which is perfect for my hands. Solid feel. Don’t really like the razor synapse software, but you really don’t need it. I used it to download my profiles and settings on the mouse on board storage and then uninstalled that ish...

This is a gaming mouse. I'm NOT a gamer. So I can't comment on that aspect. I bought it with the Razor Black Widow keyboard. It lights up with the keyboard. It is larger, more comfortable and better built then a standard mouse. Very reactive, The power cord is not crap plastic wrapped that will wear or crack. it is a woven fabric that looks like para-cord. No kinking.

Bought back in 2021, and it has yet to break down, or to glitch, etc. My one and only gripe about this mouse is Razor themselves on their software that is really annoying when you dont want it on your computer. However it is a very nice mouse and feels very comfortable for medium sized hands, the mb 4 and 5 on the left side of the mouse allows for really nice configuration in-game (I use it for leaning left or right) solid mouse though 4/5

The mouse responds very fast when moved and feels fluid. The mouse fits into my hand almost perfectly. The buttons on the side require practice to use, but are easily accessible. Setup is easy and is plug-and-play. Also, during setup, it quickly identified games on my hard-drive.

I love the Razer DeathAdder line of mouses, Ive Owned the original DeathAdder to this current one and they are the best mouse I’ve ever used. It’s light weight, fits in my hand well, durable, and very responsive. Can’t go wrong with this mouse and the warranty Razer provides with it.

I had my original deathadder for over 8 years before deciding to upgrade. It always felt comfortable in hand and responsive. This is the same thing, only better. I do wish they had added one more side button because I always seem to have 3 things I want to use the side buttons for in each game.
