I was using the logitech g305 before this mouse, it was a good mouse just not large enough. This mouse is slightly lighter and much larger. Comparable to a zowie mouse in shape. All around if you want an ergo mouse I don't think there is one much better right now.

Had it go bad and Razer replaced it under warranty. Not sure what the problem was, it just went dead. Nothing. Warranty replacement could have been a little faster. Replacement is working great, so far.

I had my old death adder for a vet long time. I wanted to upgrade and bought the death adder v2. This mouse is lighter then the original and I like it. This mouse is for people who has larger hands like me and rests comfortably in my palm

Coming from a cheap Amazon mouse I'm really impressed by the responsiveness of this mouse. It feels great. The buttons are nice and clicky. The extra buttons are great for mapping a quick action in games.

Upgraded to this from the 2013 DeathAdder. Overall size is larger but comfortable and not noticeable. The cable is more durable but still flexible, with better protection at the ends. Left and right click buttons are very sensitive but also springy, excellent for gaming without the issue of accidental double-clicking. The side buttons are comfortable to use, but the top buttons behind the scroll wheel are difficult to quickly access. The scroll wheel itself has a very rough texture. Lighting is easily programable and both lights are independent for customization. The V2 DeathAdder seems to be a true upgrade at a lower price than I was expecting, nothing bad to say about it and I would recommend it for the quality and price.

This is using optical switches which are supposed to be higher quality than older models and last longer. The mouse is the same size as older models such as Deathadder Elite. I definitely feel a difference with the click buttons which will take some time to get used to. You may want to consider this before making a purchase and try it out in the store. I personally don’t need the 20k dpi or whatever these new models support but tend to use the mouse around 6k dpi. Chroma effects and lighting work great and sync with my Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard and Razer Firefly mousepad. From my experience with Razer mice, they tend to not last long. Consider getting BestBuy Geeksquad protection which is a great value. These mice also go on sale regularly. Keep an eye out for sales before purchasing.

I'm not really a gamer, but I still love this mouse!! It's great that I can change the DPI depending on what I'm doing. It's quite smooth, accurate, and consistent, and I don't experience any skips or lags.

Best gaming mouse I’ve had! With the razer app you can set 5 different dpi staged and can toggle between them with two different buttons while in game. Also the rgb is customizable through the razer app.

Awesome mouse, cable is great as well as weight and the rgb is bright and saturated. Mouse feet are great as well, it was a bit too big for my hands of 17.7 x 10.1 but I think 18cm and up won’t have any issues.

Legendary mouse that's plagued with QC issues

Intro - I am a mouse/peripheral enthusiast and have tested many mice from different brands. I purchased this DeathAdder V2 because I have always enjoyed the shape from previous versions and wanted to see how the newest wired version stacks up. I ended up having to return this mouse 3 times! I will go over the various categories first and lastly I will talk about the QC. Shape/Weight - I use relax claw and have 18.5x9 hands now despite this being a larger mouse I was actually able to get a comfortable grip for claw and especially palm. This is definitely a mouse suited for those who prefer palm grip though, so I'd look elsewhere if you claw grip. Weight is 82g and while not being one of the lightest on the market its still a good weight that most should be happy with. 7.5/10 Sensor - This uses a Razer Focus+ sensor (PMW 3399) and its one of the best sensors on the market. It performs like a champ with absolutely no issues at all. Calibration can be a little weird with mousepads if you decide to get into that, I'd advise just leaving it on stock. 9/10 Buttons - I am not a fan of the main M1/M2 buttons. The Razer Optical Switches that are used feel mushy almost like I'm not pressing anything at times. The rest of the buttons are really good though especially the side buttons which feel very tactile and easy to find. Scroll wheel is great too with nicely defined steps and the sound is consistent. 6/10 Cable - It's an average paracord-like cable. Flexible and much better than any rubber cable you will find. You can put this in a bungee and basically forget about it. 8/10 Feet - The feet are great and glide smoothly with no inconsistency. They come very close to 3rd party offerings. 8.5/10 QC - Here is why I can't recommend this mouse. All 3 of my copies had bad QC which had to do with the main mouse buttons. First copy had creaking on the left mouse button, the second copy had it on the right, and while the third copy was better the buttons still felt inconsistent which was a issue on all copies. Software - Razer Synapse is alright. Has its issues which is to be expected, but it doesn't ruin the mouse. You can control the DPI and lightning with it. Value - Often on sale it's a good pickup if it didn't have so many QC issues.

Works great! Is very comfortable for palm grip. Great cable. I use it with the IKEA mouse pad and it's very smooth. Probably my favorite mouse at this price point.

I switched to DeathAdder V2 from Corsair Glaive RGB (non-pro edition). It's lighter and when you play MOBA or Other games, just give you quicker response and won't feel tired when using it all day long.

I used to get by with a regular mouse and didn't think much of it. Decided on a whim to try out the Razer DeathAdder v2 to see what all the hype was about, and now I don't think I can ever live without it. It is truly a case where you don't know what you're missing until you have it, but it really does make a world of difference. Nice, contoured shape and the perfect weight. Glides really smoothly and solid, responsive buttons. Software seems to work well and makes macros / sensitivity changes a breeze. Give it a shot - you won't be sorry.
