Really wanted to like this but this is a fail from Razer. First one scroll wheel started acting up after a few months (seems pretty common on this model). Got my RMA replacement that now disconnects many times a day. Wish I went Logitech. This is NOT a cheap mouse, none of these issues should be happening. Stay away

Coming from a g903 this is light as a feather in terms of its low weight and it feels great to grip. Great for FPS games like CoD

The mouse itself is good. Just a bit too big for my hands and the shape threw me off from other conventional mice. Just wasn't for me.

Really good mouse until you get to the mouse skates. They feel to slippery at the bottom compared to other quality mouses which mess up your aim control in high pace shooters. This is coming from a top player in some of the most popular shooters.

Solid Performance and Ergonomics but Quite Large

The Razer DeathAdder is an iconic line of gaming mice that's been around for years. This latest version continues the line's focus on hyper performance an ergonomic package. Unlike the Basilisk line of mice, this is a comparatively no frills affair, lacking RGB and flash, but for gamers looking for a wireless mouse, this should be on your short list. The DeathAdder V3 Pro does a lot of things right. Here are the highlights of my experience with the mouse after just under a week of usage. Ergonomics are on point for the most part, though I see two issues with the design. First, if you have small hands, you're going to find this mouse cumbersome and likely too big for comfort. It's an oddly large mouse that didn't exactly feel natural in the hand at first, but given the overall shape, I got used to it fairly quickly. Secondly, it's non-ambidextrous so this is for righties only. If these two points aren't of concern, you'll find a mouse that's comfortable for LONG gaming sessions and will not cause hand or arm fatigue. It's an understated shape and design, but that's a good thing in my book. Performance is on par with the best of my other mice, including the wired ones. Being wireless is a huge benefit, giving you one less distraction while gaming, provided the wireless protocol the mouse uses is a sound implementation. The good news here is that the Razer implementation is indeed sound, giving you wired performance without the wires. One bummer here is that the mouse is HyperPolling enabled but doesn't include the necessary hardware in the box. That is, this mouse supports a polling rate of up to 4000mhz, but that's enabled only if you spend an additional 30 dollars for their HyperPolling dongle system. Out of box, you get a 1/4th of the performance at 1000mhz. For the average gamer, this isn't a big concern, but given the DeathAdder's target market of hardcore gamers and casual alike, this feels like a letdown to not have the performance handicapped out of the box. Battery life in the standard 1000mhz polling mode is quite impressive. Razer quotes upwards of 90+ hours of usage, and I'm inclined to believe this. This is probably the result of them utilizing the larger size of the mouse to include a bigger battery, and also the result of the mouse having zero RGB functionality. Having owned a Basilisk Pro (the previous V2 version) in the past, it had some great RGB functionality but suffered greatly in the battery life department. That's not the case here. My primary issue with the DeathAdder is a problem I've had with all Razer mice I've tried; the scroll wheel feels subpar. While it has a smooth scroll feel, the detents are too soft for my liking. The result of this is difficulty in fast weapon swapping maneuvers in FPS games. So far, I haven't observed any mis-scrolling (missed scrolls, over-scrolling, etc) but it feels like over time, it's going to be an issue for me. Overall, this is a very good mouse. It has the performance and ergonomics to please even the most serious of gamers, provided you have medium to large hands. If you're looking for a new mouse, this one should be on your short list.

Awesome DeathAdder V3 pro mouse here! 5-button design with a terrific feel, smooth glide, precise clicks, tremendous battery life, and super lightweight for multiple hours of non-stop play. Super lightweight weighing in at only 63g – makes this lightweight and efficient for many hours of non-stop action. Pair this with the extreme 90 hour battery life and you could literally go for days on end if you really wanted to. Generation 3 switches feel smooth and strong. No rebound effect when rapid clicking and no lag with their 0.2ms actuation speed. Also rated for 90 million click lifecycle to last a lifetime. Top tier Razer Focus Pro 30k optical sensor is insane. Super fine tracking and works on practically any surface without skips or lags. Clear or colored glass are no problem for this sensor. Comes with 2.4ghz wireless connectivity for fast reliable wireless connection. Can also use the included cable for connected use/charging when the battery gets low. I really like the customizable feel and look that can be achieved with the included grip tape. Allows you to add extra grip where you like it but leave off what you don’t. I think this makes for a bold look and added uniqueness as well. This mouse has been a solid addition to my gaming mouse collection and rides right up there with the best of them when it comes to just straight forward aim-click-shoot-repeat. Has worked flawless since I began using it. Price may be a little high but I think that’s partially purchasing the name and logo. Works very well overall, no complaints from me.

I have had at least a dozen gaming mice over the years. Wired, wireless, and from most major brands. I learned a few years ago that I prefer ergonomic mice over symmetric mice. They just feel better in my hand overall. This mouse has everything I loved about the Viper Ultimate, with an ergonomic design that just melts into my hand while gaming. The bottom feet are smooth and glide on my mousepad. It is incredibly lightweight and just feels natural while playing FPS games. The Razer Synapse software is solid as expected, and makes it easy to adjust any of the mouse dpi or refresh rate settings. The wireless connection with the included USB dongle has been rock solid and I have not had any issue. Battery life has been impressive, especially with the 5 minute auto-sleep feature. I have had mice in the past that I would have to manually turn off after every use otherwise the battery would constantly drain. This mouse with general usage and light gaming was still at 80% battery after roughly a week and I never once manually turned it off. The lack of RGB lighting definitely helps with the battery life, but I honestly do not miss the feature at all. Also, the included rubber grips grab onto my fingertips very well and give me additional control. Overall I highly recommend this mouse for anyone that prefers an ergonomic shape. I have yet to find a better one.

Terrible device. Ruins Wi-Fi connection on laptop. Doesn’t have a Bluetooth option so I have to use it wired all the time. Might as well have saved a significant amount of money and just bought the much cheaper wired mouse.

Scroll wheel problems after 10 months of owning and taking good care of it. Jumpy scroll wheel and sometimes scrolling up or down before going in the intended direction. Otherwise, this mouse is great, just a common and major design flaw in the scroll wheel, unfortunately.
