I have bought both the keyboard and mouse from this manufacturer. And it is a let down. This is supposed to be top of the line products. I have a 10k Pc from Digital Storm so I thought buying high-end peripherals would make a perfect match. Present day I had to file support claims on both devices. They take forever to replace the product meanwhile i cannot use my PC. Buyer beware nobody speaks english when on the line to help,

A wire-free keyboard takes the clutter out of your gaming station - one less thing to worry about so you can keep your focus on what's most important. Razer brings us the DeathStalker V2 Pro wireless gaming keyboard, complete with lag-free Hyper Speed 2.4GHz wireless connection and optional Bluetooth that can toggle among three more devices. Other than a few bumps in the road, the DeathStalker V2 Pro is a keeper.
The keyboard is full sized, complete with number pad and directional arrow keys. Despite its large size, it is fairly light with a low profile of keys that look beautiful with the Chroma RGB-lit keys shine brightly against the black backdrop. The keyboard runs continuously for up to 40 hours and can be used with its included charging cable for even longer. The keys have a nice, soft press to them, a nice alternative to the clicking spring of most laptops.
When connected to your PC or laptop via the wireless 2.4GHz dongle, the keyboard is amazingly precise and responsive. This is the recommended setting for the best experience. Where it is a bit lacking is through the Bluetooth option. While it is nice to connect three other devices to the keyboard - this can be beneficial to areas used for work or web-browsing in addition to gaming - the switching between different devices via Bluetooth is a bit cumbersome. The keyboard takes a few moments to connect every time you switch, and it sometimes loses connection altogether when a device isn't in use for extended periods of time. Thankfully, the Razer HyperSpeed 2.4GHz connection is about as reliable as any wireless keyboard I've tested, and it is in this area that the DeathStalker V2 Pro shines. Lastly, the programmable roller on the top right of the keyboard is an awesome feature. It is large and has a solid click to it as your scroll up and down to adjust volume or playback on videos and music.
Razer's newest wireless keyboard is a solid addition to any gaming space. While the Bluetooth functions are a little spotty, the ability to connect multiple devices is a plus. Play games confidently using the wireless dongle connection for an excellent, precise keyboard experience that lasts a long time. The fact that it will look beautiful in the center of your desk is just icing on the cake.

On its own, its an okay keyboard. It did glitch a bit and had some issues with the lighting, but overall it wasnt bad. The issue was that I had this and something that uses synapse 2.0. You need synapse 3.0 and if you run both of them, your computer wants to implode.

Razer DeathStalker V2 is a standout name with standout features. This keyboard is such a joy to type on. I literary find excuses to type on this keyboard. I know Razer wants to say this is a gaming keyboard but I enjoyed more time with it not on games. The keys are so smooth and the low-profile design lets my fingers fly across them. I was worried about latency and interference with it being wireless but I've had no issues. I only used the Bluetooth connection but it comes with wired usb-c and 2.4ghz connections. As with any gaming keyboard the lights make it a standout. You can easily change the light brightness directly on the keyboard which I used often depending on my room lighting. I liked the ability to customize the color of the lighting.
It's not as loud as a mechanical gaming keyboard. The aluminum top gives it some durability without making it heavy and the floating keys make it easy to clean. It has buttons to connect to three different computers which is handy for multi computer setups. I used it in the family office where we have a dock setup for the various laptops. Another handy on keyboard feature was being able to check the battery life easily with a light meter right on top. Which the battery life is pretty great on it. The manufacturer says 40hrs of battery life that I estimate would last me most the month. There is a nice unique roller for volume control.
Going into the main point of the keyboard I spent some time gaming with it. Gaming I had no problems with controls lagging or missed key presses. Being low profile and optical I felt like the keys actuated quicker and without a full press for faster game play. There's still a certain level of pressure needed for the keys so I didn't have any accidental key presses.
There were two minor gripes I had with this keyboard. As with most keyboards these days the secondary functions aren't back lit so it makes them hard to find. One at least redeeming factor is that on this keyboard when you hold the function key down all keys go dark except the ones with secondary functions. This is actually how I found out there was a battery meter on the keyboard. The other oddity though is that the function key is on the right hand side. All other keyboards in the house have the function key on the left. This is really minor but just throws you off at first. Overall I really enjoy this keyboard. I'd recommend it to anyone unless they don't like fancy lights and I plan on getting my parents one.

Constantly drops signal - worthless

This is the worst keyboard I’ve used. The signal keeps dropping regardless of connection type (hyperspeed or bluetooth). The only way it works consistently is when it’s plugged directly into the machine. What’s the point of a wireless keyboard that always has to be plugged in?

Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY from Razer. Their products never work and their customer service is just as bad. I went thru 3 of these keyboards all the same problem, not connect to the dongle. Save the time, get a better product and get a Corsair

Great wireless keyboard, switches are too quiet

I’m a mechanical keyboard enthusiast and I’ve always been a fan of wired keyboards. Now here comes Razer with a wireless mechanical keyboard. Great concept, overall great build.
Look and feel
The keyboard itself feels heavy which is nice. It has a premium feel to it. The fact that the USB C cable can double as a physical connection for the keyboard makes a difference, especially when you’re wanting to use the keyboard with wired connection, so having the option to go wireless and wired is great. The thing I have an issue with are the switches. They aren’t tactile enough and they are too silent. I know everyone has their own preference and with Razers record of tactile, heavy or light switches, this one feels a bit underwhelming for the price tag. When I shop for mechanical keyboards is the tactile feel of the switches and keys. Now the actual physical keys feel good. They are premium, soft, and great for typing. But again, the tactile feel of it isn’t worth the price tag.
Software
Well there’s not much to say about the Razer Synapse software. It’s still the same, clunky, software that Razer always uses. It hasn’t been updated for ease of use yet and its still glitchy when creating different profiles. It at least auto-updates the firmware of the devices and the primary reason I use it is for my Razer Naga Pro to change macro settings on the fly.
Overall I give the Deathstalker Pro 6.5/10 . Reason being, for a premium product, the switches are too quiet and they don’t feel right at all. Outside of that, the build quality is at least on point with what you would expect from Razer.

Excellent Keyboard and Smooth

This keyboard sets the bar when it comes to gaming keyboards. The packaging is very nice and straightforward. I like the low-key travel, which helps with short actuation. The keyboard feels sturdy and well-built. The installation was effortless; all I did was connect the USB-C cable, and the software started installing automatically. Very convenient. The keyboard has a long battery life (40 hours), and you can detach the type C cable for continued use while still charging. The key caps are a great addition compared to regular keycaps. I like the multi-function roller and media button. I had no problem pausing, skipping, and brightness. I haven't customized the lighting. I still use the standard lighting type. As an accountant/gamer, I appreciated the ten keypads, as I can also use this for work. Finally, the keyboard weighs 2.27 ounces, not as heavy as the other keyboards I have used.
I let my girlfriend use the keyboard. She has long nails and thought the keys were easier to use than the regular keyboards. Now she also wants this keyboard for her setup and her job. I cannot mention enough how smooth the keystrokes are; it feels very effortless. The only con is the price, I have never paid that much for a keyboard, but other than that, it is an excellent keyboard for any gamer. I recommend this keyboard to anyone!

Cheap keyboard. Really bad latency issues with it. Also the W key would stop working when running and sprinting in shooters. Would just randomly turn off. Not good for a $250 keyboard

Low-profile keyboard that still feels good

When buying a gaming keyboard, I tend to hesitate at the low-profile ones. They usually don't have the same feel as a normal keyboard. However, this one's managed to pull it off. The keycaps and the switches used put together make it feel normal - the keys aren't flat, and the switches have the same type of feel I have from my other Razer keyboards. It *doesn't* feel like I'm using a laptop, which is really nice.
Other than the unexpectedly nice feel of the keyboard overall, it's also got everything I'd expect from a normal gaming keyboard. The RGB looks good and is extensively configurable rather than doing preset patterns, there are configurable profiles that can be attached to both the device storage and your Razer profile, and it's got the volume control separate from the FN keys so there's no weirdness like opening Help when you're trying to mute a game that suddenly got loud.
I also do appreciate the way the keyboard works with both wired and wireless, since my gaming computer is attached to a TV and I also have a small server I sometimes use my keyboard on. It's versatile without being cumbersome, and I appreciate that.
I think the one issue I've really had was when I unpacked the thing - Razer put it in box so tight I knocked off a keycap while trying to pull it out. It did go right back on, thankfully, but it was still slightly alarming.
All in all, it's a really nice keyboard that's a pleasure to use. I'd definitely recommend it.
