I am really impressed with this keyboard so far. There were no hickups with connecting it and downloading the razer synapse app. In the app you can change the color sheme, customize inputs and configure how you want your keyboard to operate. Typing on the keyboard is a breeze and it is super quiet. There is no high pitch clicking noises. It is supposed to be a narrow keyboard so you may not be used to the more shallow travel of the keys but I love it. The distance is perfect for me. I do not find my fingers bumping into other nearby keys when typing and moving to other letters. It has a premium feel and some weight to it which is nice so that your keyboard isn't sliding around and that it doesn't feel like your cheap plastic keyboards usually seen on desktops. There is also a long scroll wheel I use for volume but you can change its input in the razer software. The battery life is very good on it as well. It is rated at 40 hours of use. I've been using the keyboard and have not had to charge it yet. When not in use or when you turn off your computer, it goes to sleep to conserve battery life and does it well. When it has low battery, there is a charging cord and you can still use the keyboard as normal. In conclusion, I have not run into anything I have disliked yet. I am picky about electronics. My last keyboard made a very high pitch switch sound and I hated typing on it so this new keyboard is lovely to my ears.

First off, I love lighted keyboards and there are so many options to light different parts of this, it's endless. I love how you can layer all different typed of effects and save it to a specific profile for whatever mood I happen to be in. They keys are super responsive and nice and quiet. That helps so much when I want to type in the bedroom at night while the fiancé is sleeping. No more getting yelled at at 2am. Only issue I've run into so far is I am constantly hitting the caps lock key by mistake. I need to retrain my fingers from my last keyboard which was a bit larger. I've been making so many mistakes that it gets quite frustrating at times. My old keyboard had a built in wrist wrest an where this one does not, I think that might be part of the issue. The trade off is getting a couple extra inches of desk space that I didn't have before. I think I've hit caps lock by accident 4 or 5 times just while typing this review. Battery life is great but I rarely need to use it away from the desk so I typically just leave it plugged in. Overall, quite pleased with it. Looks cool, nice and quiet and endless light settings will keep me entertained for a long time

This keyboard is quickly becoming my favorite at both the office and at home. It features multiple connection options including wired, 2.4g, and up to three different Bluetooth profiles. Fully customizable key-by-key RGB lighting, fully programmable key mapping, and on-the-fly macros. The optical switches are very responsive reacting to the slightest keypress. This combined with their low profile allowed me to feather the keys greatly reducing hand fatigue at the end of the day. The laser-etched keycaps are made from ABS plastic and feel very robust and well formed. The case is made of aluminum and is quite substantial. This is definitely one of the heavier keyboards I've used. All around a very well thought out and durable construction. Battery life is amazing after about a week of heavy use, Bluetooth connection, and fully active RGB, I've only consumed about 40% of the battery. I should note that I do turn my RGB brightness to about 75%, so your experience may differ. All in all the Razer - DeathStalker V2 Pro is a great keyboard for anyone wanting a fully featured RGB multifunctional wireless keyboard with excellent battery life and perfect for everyday use.

The Razer Deathstalker Pro V2 is marketed as a top tier keyboard. What exactly makes a keyboard top tier? Well, there’s so many features on this keyboard that it’s going to likely cover anyone’s desires in a gaming keyboard. Beyond features, it also feels premium. The keys appear to “float” on top of a metal slate on the base of the keyboard. Razer used a new kind of plastic for the keys that supposedly makes them less susceptible to oily fingers. For me, that’s a big deal. Over time, highly used keys tend to get a thin layer of oil that makes them slippery. Hopefully this makes a difference. The keyboard features both a wired connection and a Bluetooth connection. Should be noted, the Bluetooth connection is 2.4ghz which is nice. I tend to lean wired just so I don’t have to worry about battery life and possible connection issues. However, I have been using the keyboard with Bluetooth and as long as you don’t have the RGB going like crazy then the battery life is decent. I had no issues with connectivity. More on the keys, this laptop features Razer’s laser technology. Instead of the key being physically actuated to send the signal, instead when you press down it cuts off a laser and that triggers a signal. This allows for reduced latency when clicking on a key. In real practice I haven’t noticed a difference, but its cool that it uses that technology. The last thing I will mention about this keyboard is the fact that it has every possible feature while being relatively small. The slim form factor and tight build make this feel like a much smaller keyboard. This gives it a nice look on a desk especially in Bluetooth mode. One feature that I LOVE is the media wheel. On the top right corner there is a long roller that is programmable. I honestly just love using it to lower and raise the volume without having to alt-tab out of full screen to access the sound icon on the task bar. It’s a small quality of life feature that over time makes you love the keyboard. If you are searching for a flagship keyboard, then definitely look at this Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro. In true Razer fashion it has every possible feature imaginable, while still being compact and elegant. I would strongly recommend this keyboard.

    A premium and Reliable Keyboard

The DeathStalker V2 will be a great desk companion for anyone. High quality and packed with features yet when it’s turned off it looks like your basic black keyboard - I like it. The RGB lighting is adequate and bright. I like a lighted keyboard more for practicality rather than for looks what makes me like this keyboard more is that there is no lighted visible membrane surrounding the keys but rather the light comes from beneath each key. Razer is a premium gaming brand. The Razor name is known for longevity and reliability. Owning a razor keyboard might even outlast your pc. No lie! I have family members with razor products pushing almost 10 years and they still look and work like they bought them. The keyboard includes the features a gamer and a pc user need. Like I said before razor is made to last for years and the keys are specialized with a durability coating! Pretty cool that razor is thinking of the everyday user and longevity of their products. You can connect the device to your computer via usb c to usb a (included) Bluetooth 5.0, or with the included usb a dongle. I prefer using the dongle as I feel as though it has the best connectivity and I don’t ever have to mess with Bluetooth settings. Battery life is strong at 40 hours which for me lasts for a long time. I have only had to charge it once (initial charge) with a lot of use. The physical keys feel great and they are set in a low profile design. I personally like keys that have a little bit more travel and an old time mechanical feel which is just my own preference for a constant nostalgia feel. However, knowing this is a Razer device I could care less about the nostalgia as this Razor keyboard will probably last more than a decade. Gaming and typing is flawless. Lately, I have been typing but when firing up any game you will have confidence with your finger tips on a razor. The multifunction roller is cool and is something I had on a keyboard over 10 years ago and I happily welcomed it back and have it set to control my volume. If you are looking for a reliable keyboard and a brand that is known to produce products that last then I recommend picking up a Razor keyboard.

I was looking to get a wireless keyboard to lug with my gaming laptop when I'm out of town and the Razer Deathstalker V2 looked like a good choice. I'm in love with low profile KB's. Faster actuation and my fingers feel more comfortable at the angles I keep them when using, but still it's mostly about the short key travel. I love how reactive low profile keys are and Razer doesn't disappoint. Not only is it extremely responsive but the keys are quiet as a whisper. No clickity clack unless you slam the keys down - and even that's quieter than some of my other mechanical keyboards. The keys are a bit stiff, however. I play a lot of warframe and I pretty much play with the shift key pressed a all times and the extra force needed to hold that key down wears on my pinky. Quick fix was to set up a macro to toggle the key instead, so no big hassle there and a great use of the macro for any key function. The one thing that made me deduct a star is that the KB will not sleep if the computer is off. Sleep function works fine if the computer is on, but no matter what I change it in Synaps it won't sleep when the the computer shuts down. I've come back to a dead keyboard when I left it on unused over the weekend. I even put the profiles onboard to see if that would help, but no change. So unless they come out with a firmware fix I'll have to remember to turn off the keyboard manually. I've been using the DeathStalker all day for work and play and love the form factor. While it's not my favorite keyboard, it is one of the top 3 right now.

The Razer - DeathStalker V2 Pro Full Size Wireless Optical Linear Switch Gaming Keyboard with Low-Profile Design - Black is an outstanding keyboard. The low profile keys are very sleek and elegant looking. With the back lighting appearing to making the keys floating you can really get creative with the lighting designs. The keys are quiet with minimal tactile feedback which is exactly what I look for in a keyboard. Having the option to use this keyboard wirelessly allows for a super clean “no wires” look on your desk/ working area. While using the wireless functionality I have had multiple occurrences of keys not responding immediately when pressed but those issues seem to resolve quickly. This keyboard has great battery life and charges quite quickly allowing the user to practically always use the keyboard wirelessly. The customization that can be done to this keyboard through Razer’s software is infinite. The user is able to fully customize color and function of each individual key and can even program different profiles for different functionality. Overall this keyboard is the best keyboard I have ever had and performs every function you would want a keyboard to do and more. 9/10.

First things first, it looks great! There are plenty of effects for you to choose from and customize using Razer Synapse. You can have keys light up on keypress, change color based on audio, and plenty of other options. The keyboard has no noticeable latency while using the wireless hyperspeed dongle, but you can use the keyboard wired with the cable that comes in the box if that’s more your thing. The keyboard also has Bluetooth functionality which can be used with mobile devices with no USB outlet. The media buttons are very nice and make it easy to control your media, obviously. The circular button is used to go to the previous song, skip a song, or pause/resume a song. The roller is used for volume control. The battery life is great and I don’t find myself needing to charge the keyboard often even though I always have the lighting effects on. Gaming with the keyboard has been a great experience and I have encountered no issues with the keyboard in both wired and wireless modes. 10/10, would recommend to anyone in the market for a nice keyboard.

    Powerful, Sleek, Beautiful, wireless keyboard

The Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro keyboard has definitely earned its name for the sleek, beautiful, and ergonomic aesthetics that it brings to the table. For a full size keyboard it sure does not take up a lot of space on the desktop. It is very low profile but with a sturdy aluminum frame. You can easily tote this as a travel companion for home, work, or gaming sessions without the weight of other full size keyboards. It has an awesome multi media turn switch and roller switch that can be programmed if you wish. I prefer the default of multi media play, pause, and volume controls. The keys themselves are very nice in aesthetics with the laser etched keycaps which are said to be more durable over time. I can attest to the laser etched durability from other keyboards I’ve owned and it is sure worth the extra investment as to not have to change keycaps once they are worn unless that is something that you are into. The key responsiveness is awesome and every tap is registered with the slightest pressure. I am loving this feature for fast word processing and certain games. I will get into that in a bit. The key switches are very quiet compared to the traditional red switches that I am accustomed to. There is little to no clacky sound when using this keyboard. It is a slight adjustment when you are wanting to hear that clicky responsiveness while gaming, but when you are in the house around others, they are pleased to hear me beating on the keyboard in the aggressive moments of my game. Now, where I have had to make a real adjustment is the low profile and spacing of the keys. Yes the keys are very responsive which is great, but I have had slight problems with the spacing of the keys or the overall height compared to my traditional gaming keyboard hitting keys that I did not intend. It is a little difficult to determine your placement on the keyboard because the keys are so well laid in their low profile format that my fingers tend to slide across the keys when I am in the moment of an intense fighting game. It could be that I am just overzealous with the tapping and punching of these keys. It is so smooth and effortless to hit these keys with the more evolutionary “optical mechanical” key switches. I wasn’t a fan of the moniker of optical mechanical because it sounded more of a oxymoron to combine the two, but it works, and I am a fan. Razer has continued its performance in the wireless and RGB form factor and it is apparent in this keyboard. The RGB is beautiful, bright, and un limitless in its programming with the included Razer Chroma software. It is able to work across multiple devices and tie in your overall theme across all compatible devices making it a seamless light show. There is so much that I have yet to discover with RGB programming because I find a pattern that works for me and I stick to it for awhile until I get bored. But knowing that I have the option to change it up with all my RGB devices at the desktop makes it feel that I got a new keyboard when I change it. The wireless feature is AWEWSOME with connectivity to 3 devices!!! With the simple push of a button in Bluetooth mode I am able to switch between 3 paired devices and keep it moving with this keyboard. A definite plus is the long lasting battery of upto 40 hours. I use this keyboard for both my gaming laptop and my home desktop. It is a breeze to switch between the two and the responsiveness does not skip a beat from what I can tell. The battery has lasted for quite a while, do not know if I took it to the limit of the 40 hours as I do plug it up occasionally with the included USB-C cable just to ensure I always have power. But there is a battery indicator light on the keyboard that can be accessed by pressing both fn/end keys. Great feature. I initially was apprehensive about making this keyboard my primary for gaming because of the extreme low profile and lack of clicky keys, but it has grown on me and is now my favorite go to because of the power packed feature and mobility factor of carrying with me wherever I go.

Light, Portable, Well Built Wireless Keyboard

The Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro is a quality built wireless full size keyboard that will ensure that the user will have that textile feel of a semi-quiet clicky keyboard but the experience that they are truly using a keyboard that is well built for its purpose. The main thing I want to rave about is the fact that the battery is so long lasting it is honestly beyond what I expect out of such a unit. The keyboard has both a bluetooth and wireless dongle compatibility mode depending upon which mode you prefer more. I personally have been using the USB dongle for my wireless connectivity. I have found little to no issues with response time from keyboard input to computer response. I have used this for gaming as well and have found almost no latency issues at all that could be perceivable to the average gamer. I have found some issues where a key will 'stick' on the computer end if I have a connection interference but it is easily resolved. Just know this doesn't have a super long distance using the dongle so if you are looking for that extra distance you may want to try bluetooth mode for that use case. All in All the color adjustments and extra nice-to-have experience of the keyboard is a perfect addition to the Razer line and once again they have created a great product!

Keyboard is nearly unusable on a wireless connection. Have tried reinstalling multiple times over the past, updating firmware, etc 3 days and no improvement. No longer have the original packaging (a mistake I won't make again with future razer products) otherwise I would have already returned it.
