A premium price for a premium product. I love this keyboard. It has very little sound when typing. Super smooth and fast actuation. You don't need Synapse to change RGB modes. You can use it wired or wireless. I just would like more avaliable keycap options. At the moment I don't know of any. Even though its low profile, it should still come with a wrist rest. I got a very nice HyperX TKL wrist rest.

I like the keyboard as a whole. The switches are a little mushy but I switched out for Keychron low-profile optical banana switches and am happy with them. They don’t advertise it as hot swappable but they switches are easily removable. This is my first Razer product and the software is kind of a pain in the butt to figure out.

This keyboard really is the best thing ever. Its quiet (which is a plus) so I wouldn’t wake anyone up. Also, the customizable lighting opposed to the regular modes that you get with certain keyboards is probably my favorite feature about it.

I’m not actually a gamer, however I am a programmer and can spend 10+ hours a day typing away. The build is very solid (I am a heavy typer) and gives off just the right amount of noise to sound responsive but not become an annoyance. I had originally bought the white one in store but ended up picking the black one up on sale a few days later, appearance wise both are very sleek but I think I prefer the white, however that’s unimportant to me. The only con I’ve noticed is the lighting can glitch out, as you can see in the last photo, the ctrl key is a different color on the white keyboard, but once again the appearance stuff doesn’t really matter to me.

The keyboard was a little expensive but definitely worth the money. Also looks amazing with my all white setup. On the bright side best buy helped me find the perfect keyboard for my needs and setup!!

This razer keyboard served its purpose, very nifty, light to carry and touch, and compact. Its RGB lights are a nice quality and modifiable on the sync application. I loved it was a silent keyboard and the absence of click-clacking sounds. Nifty because it has volume scroll that I have never seen on another keyboard which helps. It has back stands with three settings - flat, slightly raised, and raised(1in). My favorite keyboard hope it lasts long!

Excels as a wireless, gaming keyboard with it's super low latency and response time. Incredibly light and customizable through Razer Synapse. Highly recommend if you're looking to upgrade your hardware.

Best low-profile gaming keyboard, but NOT for Mac

Let me start with the pros of this keyboard. I tried 7 different keyboards before landing on the Deathstalker V2 pro TKL and this keyboard was the best low-profile "hybrid" work/gaming keyboard I could find. There are a couple other low-pro keyboards out there with a better typing experience (like the Nuphy Air) but they mostly lack "gaming" features like optical switches, addressable RGB's, etc. Back to the pros of the DSV2 pro - the linear switches are VERY quiet and smooth to the point of feeling mushy. Normally mushy is a bad thing but since I wanted to use this keyboard for work AND gaming I needed something quiet and this board checks that box surprisingly well. Second, the keycaps are well-done for ABS and they have a nice soft rubberized feel to them. The switches are also hot-swappable with Keychron low-pro optical switches which is surprising since RAZER does not advertise this and it's such a huge selling point. So if you don't like the mushy feel of the linears Keychron has a bunch of different options to try including tactile. Keep in mind however that Keychron uses a different stabilizer layout so their keycaps are not compatible, only the switches. As for gaming performance on PC, the most important thing for me is latency and bright RGB's and this board checks those boxes. Lastly, the DSV2 does have on-board memory so you can save different profiles and toggle between them without having Synapse open. Now for the bad news - if you ONLY use Mac this keyboard is not fully compatible with Mac contrary to Best Buy listing them as compatible. In fact, the latest RAZER software (Synapse 3.0) does not support Mac at all. Older versions (like Synapse 2.0) do support Mac but the DSV2 pro is not compatible with older versions which means you can't customize the RGB's, can't change power settings, can't remap keys, can't even update the firmware. The only way around this is if you also have a PC in the house then you can use the PC to create a profile on Synapse 3.0 and save it to the on-board memory. All in all, I gave the DSV2 Pro TKL 4-stars because for the high price I would expect RAZER to put those extra profits into paying their dev team to make Synapse 3.0 compatible with Mac. If you are only using this board on PC however and you want a low-profile gaming keyboard then look no further.

I've been using the Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro TKL Wireless keyboard for about a few months now, and I’m thoroughly impressed! The design is sleek and minimalist, with the white finish looking absolutely stunning on my desk setup. The low-profile keys are a dream to type on — they’re smooth, responsive, and feel incredibly comfortable for both gaming and typing for long hours. The optical linear switches are incredibly fast and silent, which makes them perfect for gaming. Every keypress feels crisp and responsive, especially when playing fast-paced games. The wireless connection is rock-solid, and I love the convenience of not dealing with cables. The battery life is phenomenal too; I’ve been using it for days without needing to recharge, and it charges pretty quickly when I do plug it in. One of my favorite features is the TKL (Tenkeyless) design. It’s compact, which leaves more room for my mouse, and still feels like a full-sized keyboard in terms of comfort. The RGB lighting, as always with Razer products, is top-notch and customizable via Razer Synapse, which is easy to use. Overall, this keyboard checks all the boxes for me — style, performance, and functionality. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium wireless gaming keyboard!

    Keyboard of my dreams

I have been using this keyboards since last November 22 and this is the best all around keyboard in the market. It is incredible and outperforms my old Mechanic red cherry key Ducky keyboard. The optical keys are far superior than any mechanical keyboard. The options are incredible with this keyboard to customize or pair with a other razer device. Its slim but super durable design and made with a light aluminum shell for durability. I love how compact the design is and bought this keyboard because it has all of the necessary buttons I was looking for including a media button and volume control that works extremely well. The connection and battery life are incredible but personally I have it hardwired to my laptop but have the option to use it wirelessly whenever I want. Would recommend to anyone, only problem is the price, razer rarely gives discounts.

I got this keyboard for two reasons: 1. It's low profile. Low profile keyboards, IMO, are usually better when it comes to both typing and gaming, as it's less strain on your wrists due to how low the keyboard is, even when propped up on the feet. 2. It's quiet. The linear optical switches don't make the clicky sound, which makes it perfect for if you're in an office area or live in some kind of dorm room with a roommate. Now, the one thing I will definitely knock this keyboard on is the price. It's more worth getting this keyboard when it's on sale, as I can't really justify it's $250 MSRP. Because at that point, you're truly paying mostly for the name, and at that point I would just point others to the Logitech G515 or the newly released Razer Joro. There's also the ASUS ROG Falchion low profile, which is $50 cheaper and also has a smaller footprint, being 65% compared to the Razer DeathStalker being a TKL. Battery life is also a bit random, too. Sometimes it lasts for a good while, sometimes it doesn't. All in all, it's a good keyboard... only worth grabbing when on sale, though, and if you're wanting a full Razer setup.

Absolutely loved the feel of the keyboard. It is outstanding. The low-profile keys are heaven for me. I have such a hard time typing on a standard keyboard, but low profile keyboards I can fly on this keyboard has everything you need to get the best gaming or work experience done with ease. The only downside is Razer's terminally ill trash software. It's straight up bloatware and I would not ever install that garbage but unfortunately you can't do any of the mapping or RGB effects unless you install that or OpenRGB. For me that wasn't an option because OpenRGB causes my ASUS motherboard to flake out. If you're OK with their software, are you have a different way to control the features this keyboard is absolutely outstanding. They built the keys correctly. The switches are wonderful. Everything about it is great. The software is terrible.

I really enjoy the product. You get a very similar product to the Logitech G915 TKL. While I think this keyboard is better overall than it's competitors, there are still some things that I think razer can still improve on. I use the keyboard RGB lighting at 50% brightness. After a couple days, it is nearly dead. The G915 TKL can last weeks without a charge (rgb and everything) in my real time usage. Also, I find that the keycap quality just doesn't feel premium. It's grippy (kind of like older razer mice made of that rough silicone rubber) which haven't fared well for me over time due to grease build up and fading. If it was even just ABS plastic or any glossy/smooth material, it might hide aging better. Cannot confirm since It's only been about a week since I've had this keyboard. Overall, I'd say this keyboard nails a bunch of other areas: USB-C charging, minimalist black design (hopefully white later?), unified pairing (so you can pair it with other razer devices with just a single dongle), and quiet linear switches (not just the fact that they're linear, but when you bottom them out, it's a quieter thock than the G915 clack, which is certainly personal preference). In conclusion, I think it's an upgrade from the G915 TKL...but unfortunately if you already have one, I wouldn't recommend spending more money for this unless you can figure out something to do with your previous keyboard. Otherwise if you're in the market for an Off the Shelf, low profile, compact keyboard that you don't have to spend time to build yourself, I would recommend this for a majority of consumers over some of the other competition.
