Small slim mouse pad - what I was looking for

This fits the bill - and just happens to be inexpensive as well. No garish "gamer" bling - which I appreciate. Tasteful logo in the bottom right corner embossed into the fabric.

Best Budge Mousepad

I've been using it for a little over a year now (including for an entire year of working from home) and there is some slight discoloration where my palm rests, but otherwise it's held up really well (no fraying along the edges or other wear and tear).
