I bought this keyboard to use with my workstation. I do a lot of work in product design and prototyping, from 3D modeling, to graphic design and simple animations, to programming microcontrollers. I had completely worn out my 2013 Black Widow and decided to try the optical switch technology included in the Huntsman Elite. BUT, I absolutely have to have a lighted keyboard and need a single color displayed all of the time. My 2013 Black Widow used green LEDs and I was hoping I could get the Huntsman Elite to look similar. AND THEN I RAN INTO THE BRICK WALL OF THE RAZER SYNAPSE SOFTWARE! What a bloated, intrusive bunch of code that is! There is no way to set the color on the keyboard to a single color without using Synapse. I absolutely will not run that software on my workstation. After two days of trying to live with it I uninstalled it. Come on Razer, surely you can build a simple option that allows a user to set a single color and not have eight different sets of code running in the background! As far as the keyboard is concerned, out of the box it's pretty disappointing. The keys lack the type of lubrication they ought to have to allow them to function as well as they might. Look online and see what some of the keyboard hackers have done to make the keys perform to their potential. I don't have the time, or desire, to pull this thing apart and do what Razer should have done in the first place, especially when I can't get the lighting set the way I want it without the bloat and intrusion of Synapse. There are some open source work arounds that I could download and use to achieve the lighting that I want. And then I could run a small script at startup to boot a lighting profile developed with one of the open source methods. That would get the job done, maybe. But I am not impressed enough with the keyboard to go to that kind of trouble. I'll give this one away to someone who wants to tinker with it. I think I'll just pick up a Logitech 845 with blue cherry switches and be done with this one. The Huntsman Elite was a total disappointment for me.

I have been eyeing this keyboard since it’s release. Since my purchase I am absolutely in love. I can’t stop using it. Definitely recommend this to anyone that is familiar with Razer and their products.

Hands down one of the best keyboard out there , tons of room for us bigger guys with big hands

Keys feel great. Light and crisp. Not as much of a click as other mechanical keyboards, but they reset quickly. The lighting effects are versatile and sync with other razer products.

Awesome keyboard. The amount of software support/ability to create macros is great. Also has oke of the mlst satisfying soinds to a keyboard. Sound control is also awesome.

This was a replacement to a Razer Black Widow keyboard. This keyboard is comparable and a bit more snug then then the Widow and I am having to get use to a tighter spacing with the key strikes. I am sure with a few more practice I will stop hitting the next key by mistake. Otherwise, great board. I do like the sound control on the keyboard.

In love! There is no other keyboard out there that I would ever trade this one for. Beautiful configuration and love the fast reaction. Unless Razer can top this, this keyboard is #1.

Honestly feels like playing on satin keys, with a nice responsive click that isnt too loud. 10/10 would recommend

Excellent keyboard, I use it for both gaming and everyday use has been flawless keys are fast and this unit the be customized the way one wants it.

Hated Razer, after a series of crappy products I had bought about 2-3 years ago. But I tried this anyways, despite that hatred. Its AMAZING. It has become my favorite gaming keyboard and I am SO happy with this. GET. IT!

Got this keyboard for xmas. It has not disappointed me at all. Im new to mechanical keyboards, so getting use to the keys has been a little challenge. Only con i can talk about is, i had a G15 be fore with macro keys. So this keyboard is much shorter then my other one. For sime reason i keep putting my left hand on the worng keys setting my self up ro use the WASD keys. Not sure why.

If clicky is your style, then you'll love this keyboard. Razer obviously spent a lot of time perfecting this keyboard lineup, as the quality shows. The clicky-ness is way too loud for me. Also, supporting macro keys but not having any dedicated macro keys (without sacrificing a standard keyboard key) is a bit annoying.

This is a very nice keyboard. The recipient of this gift loved it and started using it right away. He loves it!

The keys are very sensitive and so responsive that you can't perceive any delay. It also helped that it was on sale for a great price.

I'm really loving this keyboard. The only issue is it's taking some getting used to how the key layout is a bit different, i.e. the shift keys are below the primary keys vs being above the primary keys.

Great personnel and available product. All our questions were answered at the time we were there. we were able to talk to several people about our decision and warranty etc. that day.

I would be willing to give this product a 5-star rating if Razer would make a change in the backlighting. While it is a backlit keyboard, only one item is backlit on keys with dual functions. Both functions should be backlit. As it is, those functions are hard to see.
