    Gaming Keyboard gone Miniature

The Razer Huntsman Mini Gaming Keyboard: 60% Keyboard - Optical Key Switches - Individually Customizable Chroma RGB Lighting - Black is a new experience in gaming keyboarding. All the basic features of other higher-end, larger keyboards, without taking up all your desk's real estate! I found the keyboard feel to be great, similar to the brown keys on another keyboard. Fast, responsive, accurate! They claim 60% less surface, but it feels closer to 50% because there is zero bezel round the keys! The only issue I had was that the arrow keys require a function key to work... PROS - All the Razer goodness and quality - Easy keys, great feel, fast, responsive - LED lighting, programmable - Small footprint - Long USB-A to USB-C braided cable CONS - Arrow keys require function key to activate.

This Razer Keyboard is awesome. I've had it for a few days and it has been an awesome addition to my setup. The key are tactile but not super loud for when I'm on the mic. The responsiveness is crazy fast. The new smaller form factor makes my setup so sleek and clean. The RGB makes it really pop as well and the hotkeys make it easy to change without having to go into the Chroma app each time. Im so happy they used USB C for the IO on this keyboard for added port durability and longevity of the keyboard. Definitely would recommend for someone looking for a fast and responsive keyboard without all the bulk on a full size.

I have a full sized gaming keyboard from another brand. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect from use of a 60% size keyboard. This one does have a great feel with loud, very responsive keys. The keys are standard size. This is exactly the same footprint as keys only, no number pad, on a standard mechanical keyboard. Gaming with it is a joy. The lights are what you’d expect, and there is software for programming all aspects. The software is pretty bloated, but serviceable. I will use this as my go-to for gaming just for the responsiveness compared to my other one, but there’s no way I’d use this as my daily driver. So if you want to save space, and all you’ll do in that space is game, it’s perfect. But to actually replace a full size keyboard, I would reconsider.

    Price, stabilizers, fn key

I’ve been using this keyboard for about 2 months now, and I gotta say, it’s pretty good. It has those nice double pbt keycaps, selective rgb settings (by pressing fn ctrl 2,3,4,5,6,7) nice sound to it (if you’re in to click keyboards) and overall it’s a nice keyboard to use! But I feel that they could’ve improved on their stabilizers, as well as maybe lowering the price. I feel like this is a $90-110 keeb, not a 120. Also, I wish you could just press the fn button and it’d just stay like that until you turn it off. In conclusion, great keyboard! Could use a little work on stabilizers, making it a lil cheaper, and the fn button could be better.

So I had originally bought the huntsman mini with the tactile keys and it was a little too noisy for me. but then I went back and exchanged it for the linear with no problems. Overall its a great keyboard for the price. it has 2 angle adjustments so you can have it level, 6 degrees, or 9 degrees. all in all a great purchase in my opinion P.S. it has decent RGB and its fairly simple to operate and change.

This small keyboard gives you more desk space for positioning your input devices. With no number pad, arrow keys, or function keys you get a great 61 key compact 60% Razer clicky Purple Optical Switch based travel-ready keyboard. Razer’s Huntsman keyboards, include full-sized, 80 percent tenkeyless, and now the 60% mini. Alternate functions can be activated by holding down the Fn key. Durability of up to 100 million keystrokes expected life span is great. The keyboard is made from aluminum and plastic and is both light and structurally sound. Keys are individually backlit with RGB LEDs, customizable using Razer Synapse 3 software - very attractive. Razer uses double-shot PBT keycaps, which are resistant to wear and tear. The keyboard comes with a USB-C cable for attaching to your pc. Very small footprint Razer’s purple optical switches PBT keycaps Keycap labels on vertical front facing surfaces Detachable USB-C cable Responsive to very light touch Five visual profiles RGB Per-Key Backlighting N-Key Rollover I really like it!

This is a keyboard. It is a small keyboard. I guess you could call it a gaming keyboard as well since it lights up. Let me say that I am torn on my review here, the high quality Razer construction is there, but it doesn't justify the price. It is well built but that's it. There is no wow factor, nothing that really pushes this keyboard to a price higher than a full sized Ornata or a Black Widow V3. Where Razer really blows it is the Huntsman Mini does not use Synapse 3 at all. I know some people may consider that a plus but I have 2 other Razer peripherals that do use Synapse 3 and I coordinate my color scheme between my Keyboard, Mouse, and Tartarus Pro. This is the lure if RGB for me. The Huntsman mini does have pre-programed lighting schemes. You can switch between static, breathing, spectrum cycling, wave and starlight basically all the basic and boring lighting schemes. Too bad I use the Fire effect on all 3 of my Razer peripherals not to mention all the custom profiles available to choose from the Community. This is a deal breaker for me. I traded my Orbweaver for a Tartarus because I couldn't sync the RGB with my Keyboard and mouse. If I want to sync these I am trapped with a choice of 5 pre-programed lighting schemes with no hope of using Community made themes The Razer quality is there but I feel this is an overpriced and mediocre product. Unless you are in desperate need of desk space, this Razer fan boy advises you to skip this one.

I got this keyboard about 3-4 days ago and let me tell you, this keyboard it the best 60% keyboard on the market. It is the fastest, coolest, most durable keyboard for anybody looking for a small keyboard, strongly recommend for anyone looking for a keyboard that is not super expensive, but is fast and mechanical. Incredible and love it.

Razer finally did it. They made a 60% keyboard, and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. It's a solid build, the PBT keycaps feel amazing, and the Chroma lighting looks beautiful. Razer did an amazing job when making this keyboard.

Reviewing this keyboard was an experience. As Gamers you are used to massive oversized keyboards with keypads , and tons of features that you don’t end up using. Enter Razers Mini Huntsman- 60% keyboard. It’s compact fits one hand easily. It reduces the footprint space on the desk. Is it good? Playing AC &COD it was refreshing as the keyboard was simple to use. It was responsive and accurate. The Razer Synapse (RGb) app was quick to recognize the keyboard and allowed for color changes quickly. If you are in the game for a compact keyboard that’s accurate and precise check this Razer mini huntsman!

Pros: Lights up Small size Nice key click Cons: No 10 key I'm fairly new to gaming. I was using a regular Bluetooth keyboard previously. This keyboard is a nice and compact size for what I need. I love the click from pressing a key. The preset light options are fun and using the program included I've been able to customize my own setups as well. The keyboard is very responsive and I've had no issues so far. My only complaint would be wanting a keyboard with a 10 key next time so I don't need to swap out keyboards for different uses. Overall I love it though.

Didn't think I was gonna really like this keyboard for casual gaming setup. Key travel and feel are awesome. Took a few minutes to get used to it but once I did. Less spelling mistakes as it type when I used it for writing some word doc for testing. But into gaming. Now it doesn't have macro keys or those assignable keys but for movement it really works. Input lag not an issue. Even used it on my Xbox one X. Could not control color with it but does work. Easier to handle than a full size keyboard. Great for those game that don't require a mouse control also.

Coming from Logitech G910 & I love the extra space I have. Will never hit my mouse on my kb again. Easy to transport with my gaming laptop too. My extra large mousepad just makes more sense now.. There's something about that extra space that makes everything more comfortable. And this is coming from an accountant who hates to be without a numpad. What I dislike about it is the media keys and arrow keys needing to use the fn button. I like to use arrow keys to skip through videos but I find myself preferring to just click thru the video.

A very good product, the switches are very fast and the click is satisfying, the only bad things about this keyboard is the stabilizers on every key, it makes them ping every time you press them, and the price.

I recently made the switch to PC & mouse and keyboard gaming. I had a larger keyboard and switching to this has already sent me strides further. This keyboard feels amazing and is super responsive. The app customization using Synapse also sends this keyboard to the next level. The keys are the perfect texture and sounds nice without being too loud. The size is amazing and doesn't take up my entire desk, this is one of the best features. This will be my keyboard for years to come.

I was skeptical at first using a 60% board but right out the box I could tell this was a great keyboard. Coming from a mechanical blue switch board (very clicky) this one with the red switches (with pre installed dampeners) feels awesome. Same crisp snap as the blue switch but quiet. Plus the razer synapse is probably the best software out there when it comes to customizing your lighting.
