I've had this keyboard for about 6 months now. It's visually appealing and the Razer app is pretty easy to navigate. Only problem I have is some keys tend to stick down, even after attempting to cleaning it.

    Flawless 60% Keyboard from Razer

This Razer Huntsman Mini is exactly what a lot of us having been asking for. For some time now, I've watched the community provide immense feedback in terms of the type of keyboard we'd like to see as well as the features. I was a big fan of the original Razer Huntsman Elite and we finally have one of the best keyboards on the market, imho, in sixty percent form factor. It is astounding how much space I've freed up on my desk by switching to this huntsman mini. I didn't realize how much space a traditional ten key keyboard takes up over this. I'm surprised it's taken a major retail store manufacturer this long to come out with this form factor. I keep trying to find flaws with this keyboard but I'm a bit hard pressed. It's higher quality than I would have expected from Razer. It's built like a tank. The bottom of the keyboard is constructed with a really high quality plastic with an aluminum top plate. There is no flex on the keyboard which is what lends to it feeling indestructible. We finally have stock double shot PBT keycaps. An ingenious feature of this board is the side printed secondary functions (see pics!). I found this incredibly convenient. While you're certainly not going to get get arrow or media keys with a 60% keyboard, these side printed keys provide with you the functionality of media keys, arrow keys, brightness control, and some page up/down keys by just holding down the function button. A nice touch that I really loved that Razer included here was that when you hold down the "fn" key, only the keys with secondary functions light up!!! (see pics) In terms of the typing experience, I personally love Razer's purple clicky optical switches. I have for some time now. Key type will of course come down to preference but if you prefer tactile keys and you are a fan of the previous offerings of razer's purple optical switches, then you will love these even more. For some reason, these purples feel even more stable than on the Razer Elite that I've tried. I don't know if it's because of the double shot keys or if it's because of the type of lubricant that Razer used on each one of these keys but they feel rock solid. The keys are also a lot less noisy than the traditional optical clicky purples that I've tried in the past. I could only presume that it's from the type or application of lubricant that Razer used on this keyboard. Typing on this is a dream that you have to really just try for yourself. On that note, please bear in mind that if you are coming from a traditional ten-key or TKL keyboard, it will likely take a couple or a few days to adjust to this smaller size. The keys are ever so slightly closer together because of the form factor but definitely not to the point that your hands feel cramped (for reference I have medium to large hands). The RGB lighting on this keyboard is bar none which I've already come to expect from Razer and their synapse software. They have great presets but you can also individually customize each key using Chroma Studio (listed under "Advanced Effects"). Do bear in mind though, that there is not a lot of light bleed from underneath the keycaps if that's the look you're going for. In terms of cons it's tough to find any. However, there are two things that I can nit pick. The first is I've recently started to see some online keyboard companies with 60% keyboards start to include two USB-C connectors (one on the right of the keyboard and one on the left). This is a pretty neat feature as it allows you to connect the USB-C cable closest to the side on your desk where your PC is located. While the included braided USB-C cable is super high quality, the USB-C slot is located on the upper left of the keyboard only. The second minor gripe I have is that if you decide to purchase Razer's very own doubleshot PBT keycaps that are sold separately in different colors, they do not include the side printed secondary functions!!! So bear in mind that if you do switch out the keys, you will lose those side printed shortcuts. Other than that, this is a flawless execution. I've typed up this entire review on this keyboard and these keys make me not want to stop! If you've havent had the opportunity to use a Razer product in the past, this is one that I would highly urge that you give a chance!

Razer Huntsman Mini is A Home run in my eyes

I feel like I hit the Jackpot with this keyboard. Its so hard to find white components for PC's that are high Quality. The Razer Huntsman Mini carries the brand's standout optical mechanical switch keyboard. With each key's light feel accompanied by premium double shot PBT keycaps, it can be great for both gaming and typing. I will have to advise against installing the Razer software. You can simply activate gaming mode by pressing function key +U. The Razer software has A few bugs that need to be straitened out before I will attempt to re-install. A lot of people compare this to the Ducky 2 MINI, Since I snagged this from Best Buy for half the price of the Ducky 2 mini and this being an all white keyboard vs the blue enter Key on the ducky II I figured this decision was A no-Brainer. Even if the ducky II mini did not have the blue key I would of went with Razer regardless. Using Razer mechanical keyboards at work and at home with clicky optical keys keys is perfect with me. I feel that Razer keyboards have build quality that are built to last If you feel the need for that .15 MS faster response time to compensate for your slow reaction time when playing Apex or War Zone then by all means get the linear switch version. I find this keyboard to be more then enough for my needs. Even after 2 weeks I am able to navigate fine when writing code without having the standard arrow key's.

One of the issues many of us gamers, especially those of us with multiple computers, have is that desk space is limited. Personally I run three computers on a v-shaped desk and desk space is pretty limited. So when I saw the new Razer Huntsman, a keyboard that is a high-quality and premium keyboard, but one that is about 60% of the size of a regular keyboard I knew that I wanted to give it a try. The fact that it had really cool RGB lighting was just the icing on the proverbial cake. Taking the keyboard out of the case is really an experience because you don't really realize just how much smaller it is going to be until you open the small box and see it for yourself. It's amazing in both looks and size to look at. The next thing you notice is the quality braided wiring that it comes with. Replacing my old Logitech G800 keyboard was going to free up a lot more desk space than even I had realized. Of course setting it up was a breeze, I mean you basically plug it in. The RGB lighting defaults to rainbow cycling of colors and although I suppose there is likely Razer software you could install to change the lighting yourself I did not do so as I didn't feel the need to change the lighting on my secondary computer (I spend way too much time changing the lighting on my current computer!) Typing on the keyboard did not take long at all to get used to. As a touch typist the F and J keys are marked and I was able to quickly and proficiently type very quickly immediately on this keyboard. It also had a real good click feel in relation to gaming, so you know exactly when you press the keyboard, which is, at least in my opinion, mandatory for a gaming keyboard to have. I was able to use the WASD setup to play several games without any issue and I felt almost as if I was using my regular Corsair Strafe RGB keyboard until of course I looked down and saw the actual small keyboard. I think this is a great keyboard for gamers, but also anyone that wants to reclaim desk space and do so only with a high quality click-key keyboard that they will not miss a beat using in a game but also be able to use to type an email for work on. I'd highly recommend this keyboard for all you lan gamers out there as well since it's so small and so light but yet it is corded so you will not have any issue at all with lag. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great for typing and gaming but with fewer keys

I replaced an old cheap keyboard with this one. The purple switches work nice for typing and make it much nicer to type then a cheap keyboard. The software also allows you to customize the colors, but I turn it off after I set it up. You can also customize the keys. It is much smaller so if you have a small space, then this is nice. Since it is connected through USB-C, if you take it somewhere else and have a USB-C cable it will work there too. Since this is a mini keyboard, it does mean you are missing keys. The F# keys are gone and the arrow plus number pad is gone. The size of the keys is standard, so the reduction is by having fewer keys, which is good so you don't need to get used to small keys. For gaming, if you use the F5 or F8 keys for saving/load you'll now need to do it a different way. For desktop the same for arrow keys. The nice thing though is that the Fn key actually adds these buttons back, and they are pretty intuitive (like FN + 5 is F5). Once you get used to using Fn it's almost the same as having a full-sized keyboard, but it does take some getting used to. Overall, if you have a larger desk and need to use the keypad, F# keys, or arrow keys, you're probably better off getting a full-sized keyboard. On the other hand, if you're looking to use little space and still have a functional nice keyboard, then I would strongly recommend this.

The Razer Huntsman Mini 60% is an excellent keyboard for anyone who wants a compact setup without sacrificing performance. The optical switches are super responsive and feel great to type on — especially if you like that satisfying click. Build quality is solid, the RGB lighting is vibrant and customizable, and the size is perfect for gaming or a clean desk setup. It takes a little time to adjust to the 60% layout, but once you do, it’s hard to go back. Highly recommended for gamers or minimalists!

I recently purchased the Mini Huntsman Keyboard for my child, and it has quickly become one of their favorite gaming accessories. As a parent, I couldn't be happier with this choice, and here's why: First and foremost, the Mini Huntsman Keyboard offers a fantastic gaming experience. The Razer switches provide lightning-fast response times, perfect for gaming, and they have a satisfying click that my kid loves. The compact size is perfect for smaller hands, and the key spacing is just right, ensuring that every keystroke is accurate and comfortable. What truly sets this keyboard apart is the RGB Chroma backlighting. My child adores the customizable lighting effects and vibrant colors. It's not only visually stunning but also a great way to keep them engaged during long gaming sessions. The keyboard also comes with dedicated media controls, making it easy for them to adjust sound and music without leaving their game. The build quality is impressive. It feels durable and well-constructed, which is essential for a keyboard that will see a lot of action. The included wrist rest is a thoughtful addition, providing ergonomic support during extended gaming sessions. Plus, it's detachable, so you can choose to use it or not based on your preference. Setup was a breeze, and the keyboard is plug-and-play, so no complicated installation was needed. It's also compatible with a variety of devices, which is a bonus if your child enjoys gaming on multiple platforms. As a parent, I appreciate Razer's commitment to safety and parental controls. They offer software that allows me to monitor my child's gaming time and set limits, ensuring a healthy balance between gaming and other activities.

Razer has always been known for being at or near the top in consumer’s options for computer gaming peripherals and they did not disappoint with the Huntsman Mini Gaming Keyboard. They packed everything you would hope to see from a full-size customizable mechanical gaming keyboard into the Huntsman Mini making gaming on the go more convenient without sacrificing too much. Just like their full-size keyboards, you can customize the Razer Chroma (RGB) lighting, buttons, etc. using the Razer Synapse application or via the onboard memory and lighting effects hot keys. You can also use the function key to select key options that would normally be available on a standard size keyboard. With Razer’s Clicky Optical Switch, the mechanical feel in the keys is as smooth and responsive as you would expect from Razer for seamless and lightning fast actuation. As you can see by my pictures, the size and layout of the buttons is similar in spacing. The keyboard does have two flip out stands in the rear to tilt it up slightly as you would normally see in a standard keyboard. The keyboard connects to your computer using a detachable USB-C to USB connection although it would have been nice if it also had a Bluetooth option although I know gamers would be sacrificing speed. Another drawback with the Huntsman Mini is the lack of wrist pad making it a little uncomfortable and less ergonomic however you could always add a third-party wrist pad to help. I would recommend this keyboard for laptop travel gamers as it should fit easily in a laptop bag however it definitely is not as comfortable or user friendly as a full size gaming keyboard with more shortcut keys available.

The keyboard is at an affordable price for its quality. It has a purple switch, the keys are made with quality plastic and the keyboard has a configurable RGB light, which makes it more beautiful and fun. The design of the keyboard allows it to take up less space and give the user more space so they can move the mouse more freely and perform better in games. The product comes well packaged and protected, the cable is of quality and the packaging comes with good information on how to use the keyboard.

I love the size of the huntsman mini since I always have to travel and this fits well inside of my backpack. The switches are indeed clicky but the only thing about them is that they do have a slight noise of a spring that is a little bit annoying but I got used to it after couple of weeks using it. The usb-c cable that came with the keyboard is nice and braided and pretty long. It's lightweight and I can easily type of it really well without my hands getting fatigued or tired by gaming on it. It did take some getting used to when I had to push the function key first then push f5 or something like that. The keyboards keycaps are actually pretty good. They don't really show fingerprints or signs of usage. It has an oil free layer on top which makes the keycaps look like that's the specific one being used most of the time. Overall, quality is top notch, value is eh in my opinion for the regular price but I got a gift card so I only had to pay 60 dollars which is not bad for a razer brand especially. Lastly the ease of use is pretty simple. If you want to customize the lighting of the keyboard, just download the synapse 3 application on windows and you can set functions or do anything in your head that makes you work comfortably on the keyboard you can imagine

absolutely phenomenal feeling. The keys when pressed give a great deal of satisfaction. The keyboard is much thicker than I anticipated but is not awful. Additionally, the ergonomics of being able to have the keyboard adjust to 3 levels is nice for those that are picky. The software works well on windows to adjust the colors and macro functions. I wasn't able to get it to work on Mac the same way, but hey the box didn't say it was compatible with Mac! Excellent product if you don't need arrow keys or a ten key.

The Razer Huntsman Mini Gaming Keyboard is the perfect size for anyone looking for a smaller keyboard. This also makes portability easier but the impressiveness of the keyboard itself is 5-star. The keys are super responsive and the key layout makes it easy to game and type. Another amazing quality about this keyboard is that it has improved my typing skills.
