The linear switches have a nice feel but the sound of typing has a bit of a ping to it. Definitely not recommended if you are planning on using it in an open office environment or you are concerned about a microphone picking it up. The optical switches are insanely sensitive, maybe too sensitive as the slightest touch will register as a keystroke. There’s a learning curve with typing on it as you adjust to the hyper-sensitivity of the switches.

This keyboard is pretty awesome. Has several lighting effects you can change using the razer software. The size is awesome and the keys have great feedback and feel. Changed from a logitech g413 and prefer how this one feels more. I do think that this keyboard could be cheaper as the quality is not amazing or premium feeling. But it is sturdy and not cheap feeling.

If you want a hyper-sensitive keyboard, this one is for you. The switches can detect about a paper-clip worth of force, so Razer isn’t joking about it being ready to see a keypress RIGHT NOW. If you’re looking for a keyboard for, well, routine typing, I might recommend looking for one of the less-sensitive models - this one is meant for gaming. LED lighting and such are well done. Build quality is amazing; if I get irritated with it I can use it for personal defense.

Have been using this key board for a while. A decent keyboard for this price. No signal losing no matter how fast I type. But the razor software something is annoying. It keeps asking u to install their software which I donot find a lot of value for me(only for me)

Spacebar is EXTREMELY loud. I suggest you to lube it to make sound thumpier and quieter than clacky. Other than that, the keyboard is absolutely amazing for gaming. Extremely fast and very sensitive. I advise you to be careful laying your fingers around because resting them on the keyboard will trigger any key inputs. I’d say i’m a hardcore competitive gamer myself and this keyboard is just phenomenal for that activity. They just need to fix the loud clacky spacebar.

It is very fast. Rgb lighting looks cool, although the software is bit confusing.

its compact and easily packed in a travel bag. keys have a good feel. lighting is a little dim but workable.

Good keyboard. I was previously using a membrane keyboard that came with the prebuilt pc I got so it was a huge upgrade. I started to notice that I was able to perform better in games like overwatch. This keyboard takes some time to get used to but once you get used to it it's awesome. NOTE: Keyboard can get LOUD at times.

Purchased on sale as a Christmas present for my son. He said "The 1.0mm actuation point is extremely noticeable. I barely press down and it registers to my computer. The keys feel and sound extremely amazing. I enjoy typing and gaming on this keyboard more than the razer green switches or any other ones that they have released."

It has to be the most responsive switch I have used in a while, while also keeping it very clean and smooth for typing. It can be a bit loud at times due to the very strong key caps but its built to last. Very good lighting in my opinion not too flashy but very visible with really accurate colors. Love this keyboard its in my top 3 for sure!

Great Razer TKL keyboard. Bought the razer doubleshot Mercury white keycaps for this and even made it better. If you are choosing this and the razer black widow tkl, choose this. The optical key switches are a definite better performance than the old clicky switches. Also the removable usb type C is just icing on the cake.

I wanted to give a mechanical keyboard a shot prior to investing a ton of time and money in custom building one. The Huntsman fit the bill perfectly. Great response and feel - I love it when folks ask me to mute because my typing is too loud. I'm not a huge RGB guy but the lights can be dimmed and controlled via function shortcuts if desired.

Sensitive keys, quick response and quieter than expected.

So this is my first optic keyboard and it is sensitive and fast. Though even still now after owning it for quite a while still not use to it. If you barely bump a key it activates the key and is such a pain when typing or worse playing a game and do something wrong and die. This i'm sure has it's uses for pro players, but for casuals probably not.
