Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the high build quality, vibrant RGB backlighting, and responsive keys as major strengths of the Huntsman Tournament Edition keyboard. Many appreciate its compact size and fast response time, while some find the sensitivity of the keys and the price point to be drawbacks. The included software also received mixed reviews.

Not a great product
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was not cheap, it has died and will not connect or turn on. My son has had it less than 90 days

Not worth.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PBT caps are nice, but the switches are terrible. It registers a letter multiple times when typing, so I'll have a "kkeyyboardd" while typing.

Great gaming keyboard, one flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great gaming keyboard, extremely responsive. However, Synapse, the control software, does not persist your settings when the Windows desktop locks. Your Razer peripherals will revert to the default "color wheel" animation instead of preserving your active profile settings. Razer states this is intended behavior. This won't bother some people, but I found it frustrating. The keyboard is extremely sensitive and may not be the best for general use. If you plan to use it primarily for gaming, not an issue.

Complete piece of garbage.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is so bad that it is impossible to type with. I don't know why they make it.

Very very nice!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing keyboard. Love the 2nd gen red switches, feels and sounds much much better than the first gen. 60% size is definitely a personal preference but just fine for me who uses a lot of space with a mouse while gaming

Solid but takes some getting used to.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sensitivity and actuation point will take a while to get used to if you are coming from a mechanical or clicky switch. The spring is very light and the actuation point is not even halfway down the travel length of the switch so you will be mistyping very often, especially if you are a touch typist. Just resetting at the home row will have you sending J's and F's into your typing field to no end. I highly recommend doing some intensive typing drills or typing games to get acclimated to the new feel. The backlighting leaves quite a lot to be desired; it isn't very bright or sometimes even apparent. And the Synapse software is excessively large and demanding for lighting software. It desperately needs a redesign and a scale back. The smoothness and feel once you get used to the switch are very pleasurable though and the less ostentatious presentation is very welcome from a gaming oriented brand.

Awesome keyboard for linear switch fans
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great keyboard if you like the linear switch setup. Just know that this keyboard (due to the type of switches) is EXTREMELY sensitive. It's great for someone like my son who uses it to play Valorant and other "quick reaction" type games. I wouldn't personally use it because it's too sensitive for me. For its target audience though it is very highly recommended.

Excellent keyboard for quick responses
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this after wanting to upgrade from my old blackwidow keyboard that had green switches. It's a great keyboard and I had no issues with it for years, but not being able to rapidly press keys due to the clicking of the switches was a problem for me. I did a lot of market research and for my preferences this one comes in at #1. I prefer a keyboard that's discrete but back-lit for dark sessions, and obviously I was looking for something sensitive. I didn't jump to this keyboard without first trying the cherry mx-red switches. I recommend trying a keyboard like that first, especially if you do not have light hands. Essentially, this keyboard is very sensitive. Many will say too sensitive. However, if your hands are light and you do not want to put effort into your key-presses, this keyboard is for you. The key caps on this keyboard are very nice. They aren't silky smooth and have a rough top. The lighting doesn't shine through the caps perfectly but I can still read the keys (the function keys are printed on and not lit). As for real issues: The keys will register twice sometimes while typing, but I experienced the same on a cherry mx red switch keyboard, and also my chic-let rubber dome laptop. Lastly I would like to note that you are encouraged to use synapse 3 software, which many people do not like. Personally I prefer the default lighting and don't need macros so I can completely pass on the software.
