I already had the full size version, but wanted the TKL as I never used the number pad. Same great quality, with less keys. Also able to sync the RGB on this with my Razer mouse. Love it!

So i was looking for my first gaming keyboard and I needed it to be small and without numpad .... long behold Razer Huntsman TE The Red optical keys are VERY sensible, lighting quick registration which it can be both a positive and a negative, but honestly It just takes a little bit of time to get used to. The noise: I wanted Green switches but Im happy with the sound of the Red’s. The red switches have a nice clicky sound to them HOWEVER when you bottom out the keys they become louder, I personally don't mind it, sooo if you are looking for a TOTALLY SILENT keyboard, this ain’t it chief. So overall I would say 9/10 would recommend. Sensible clicky keys with very nice rgb lighting using the Razer synapse 3 app

Top notch keyboard! This model has no numbers pad on the right hand side, and my son loves it that way. More room on his desk. Solid build quality! Funky, customizable light show!

Definitely one of the fastest and most responsive keyboards. RGB editing software is great. This is my first optical keyboard with linear red switches and I have no regrets.

Great keyboard! takes a little bit to get used to it because of the short travel distance for the key press. I still end up pressing multiple keys at once by accident every now and then. (both good and bad for gaming because its really easy to fat-finger keys with this board, but requires a very light touch to activate a key so very quick board in that respect) But i suppose its making me a more accurate typer lol. RGB lighting is really nice and customizable with Razer's software. it can be loud but its not too bad. no clicking since its not mechanical so if thats your preference then yea.

This was the perfect keyboard for me. I only use my desktop for gaming, so a full size keyboard only got in the way. The huntsman mini doesn't offer the arrow keys, so that wasn't a great solution considering some games use them. The keys are nice and light, easy to press but enough resistance that you can float your fingers on them. The keys are very touchy which can take some getting use to, but for FPS purposes it's great for making minor movement adjustments that you can't usually get without using a controller. I accidentally jump sometimes but it's actually saved my life on a few occasions.

Havent had the keyboard for long but I love it. It has a small form factor, it's quiet, the keys feel incredible to type on, it feels very premium, I came from blue switches and they just weren't for me but these linear optical switches feel incredible! I would 10/10 recommend to anyone that wants a keyboard that doesn't need much pressure on keys to help type faster and with less effort, have a sensitive mic because the keys won't be picked up as easily compared to blue switches or clicky switches, are looking for a TKL keyboard that'll get the job done. Overall this keyboard just makes me want to type even more and is fantastic for gaming!

This Razer Huntsman keyboard is an amazing keyboard and in fact I'm actually typing this review with it right now. The optical switches are great, but they are so reactive that i often make mis-types and press buttons that I otherwise wouldn't. It took quite a long time to learn how to type accurately with this keyboard, but because it made me better at typing I actually see this as a plus now. However there is one thing that isn't a plus, it's the sound of this keyboard. These were advertised as having red switches and the normie I am believed that having red switches make it quiet. Well that's not the case with this keyboard because it's gosh darn loud! It is only a small amount less loud that the purple optical switch counterpart of this keyboard. I don't really mind of the sound anymore, but I still am scared of typing early in the morning or night because of how thin my walls are. This is also worsened by the fact that using O-rings don't affect the sound of this keyboard as much as a regular cherry/kalih/outemu/gatreon/etc switch because the design of the switches are different from any other kind. The only way I've seen that actually removes the sound is to open it up and add sound foam, but this voids the warranty. The sound does make me sound like an amazing typer though. On the gaming side of this keyboard and it's durability it's quite great, but not perfect. I've been playing osu for the entire time I've had this keyboard, and not regular osu but osu-mania. Over time I've seen that the a,s,l, and ; keys on my keyboard sound differently and feel a lot more mushy and weird than the other keys, although the actuation is still the same. I'm quite worried that in the future it may break on me sooner than the 80 million keystroke guarantee by razer. This keyboard has served me well these past few days, and if I could trade it for another keyboard I probably wouldn't because I'm impatient and don't want to wait for the shipping :).

Amazing response and feel from the keys. The RGB is great as with all chroma-enabled devices, and easy to set up. It's pricey, but what else would you expect from Razer?

I bought this as both a keyboard to work from home (pandemic thing) and also for gaming. The keyboard is very well built and the action feels very “Old School”. Almost like an old IBM typewriter. Which is a very good thing. Very crisp. The lighting is very nice and easy to customize. My only complaint is this is a very noisy keyboard. If I am typing people can easily hear the keystrokes over a conference call. So there is a trade off between a very nice action and noise. I really like the keyboard action so I am keeping it. However if you (or others) are going to be bothered by the sound, better to look elsewhere. I have seen reviews that the keyboard is very sensitive. And it is. If you tend to rest your hands on the keyboard you make get a lot of unintended leeeeeeeetters.
