Customers are satisfied with the Huntsman V2's build quality, RGB backlighting, comfortable wrist rest, and responsive key feel. Many appreciate the keyboard's customization options and the unique analog features. However, some customers find the price point high and express concerns about the software's performance and occasional lighting limitations. The noise level is a point of contention for some users.

Analog is a cool concept, but currently has few games that support it. For $250, the analog needs to be the selling point but misses the mark with this product. To configure analog, it's essentially a hack-job, as the keyboard keys are changed to controller buttons. This means you can't type or use default keyboard actions when analog is enabled. The actual build of the keyboard isn't bad, but for the price, I would rather go with the Huntsman Elite and save some money. Would not recommend it.

Fantastic key feel with responsive keys. The amount of customizability with the analog keys is frankly astounding. You can adjust the keypress throw per key between 1.5 and 3.6mm press. The "underglow" effect around the wrist rest pairs nicely with the basilisk v3 mouse.

If they ever get the software working, this would be a great keyboard. Constant key sticking is always happening, In games you can't control, but other than that a great KB.

I should initially say, I did not pay full price for this. Nor would I necessarily recommend it at full price. However, it's an amazing keyboard especially if you can get it on a sale.

Way better than the huntsman elite, got an huntsman elite 3 days before this was released and I want to try this out. The built quality way better and it also comes with PBT keycaps. Instantly returned the huntsman elite.

A lot of nice features, feels pretty sturdily built. I had issues with the analog function sticking similar to some reports on reddit and other sites. Often times midgame it is like the keys recalibrate to some degree of being pressed and you cannot override it so you may continue to charge into battle even though you may be pressing another key to strafe or retreat! Eventually returned it and went back to an optomechanical board.

Keys are mechanical but not not too loud. Feels good to type on. Wrist wrest is much too high, though, it's very nice but then the keyboard seems so much lower.

Was also looking at the Corsair K100 RGB OPX for the same price but the polling rate on Corsair website states 4000 polling rate and the Razer Huntsman V2 optical mechanical switches has 8000 polling rate from Razer website. Since I had a Huntsman elite with linear mechanical switches already and worked great for me. Like the fact that the switches on this keyboard can be setup as a double activation points in Synape software. I did look for reviews online between the two Keyboards.

Critical flaw. While using Synapse, the utility required to utilize all the features of this keyboard, the keyboard will occasionally get a key "stuck" down until you press and release it again. You can find plenty of threads and videos on line of this behavior. Razer stops short of improving many aspects over the Huntsman Elite, in fact have worse RGB (no rgb on top edge of keyboard where the Elite does) and a worse wrist wrest.
They again used a dual connector, when a single C type would had sufficed. The cable uses a C type and A type, they include an C to A adapter. They could have had a C type for all the possible needs of the device and a C to DUAL A connector for those who don't want to use a C type port. Not having a removeable cable is a big negative.
The analog capability is the big draw, but you can only use it on 24 keys at one time. Being able to set activation and release for all keys is nice, but the other limitations are artificial and stifling.
Razer should not had shipped this product in this state.

Solid feel, well built. The USB-C interface does make it hard to get into the bios. Fortunately, they include a USB-C to USB-B converter for just such situations.

It works great. Synapse on the other hand doesn't. So it's just a $250 keyboard that you can't control. No binding nothing can't even control the lighting because synapse won't let you save anything. So yes the keyboard as a functioning keyboard works great but it's impossible to get the funtionality of what your buying.
