Built-in Microphone: The built-in microphone is serviceable for casual use, but don't expect exceptional audio quality. If you're in a noisy environment or need high-quality audio, you might want to consider an external microphone. Design: The webcam has a simple and functional design. Low-Light Performance: In well-lit conditions, the webcam performs admirably. However, it might struggle a bit in low-light situations. I bought this to use for Google Hangouts video meetings. I was a little apprehensive about buying this at first, because there are a lot of video reviews on YouTube that mention poor audio quality. But it was the only webcam available, so I bought it. I'm glad I did - it seems Razer has made some significant improvements on it since its original release. Audio quality is more than fine for meetings (obviously not as nice as a dedicated USB microphone), and I didn't have to bump up the microphone audio input volume with Windows. Video quality is also quite good, the picture is sharp and colors are vibrant. They can be tuned with Razer Synapse, but I found that to be unnecessary. Some old reviews also mentioned that the LED ring could not be turned off - this is not true anymore, the ring can certainly be disabled. Plug and play worked on Windows, the webcam worked out of the box.

Purchased this for my fiancee for her work and it is amazing. Great picture quality and the adjustable lighting is nice to have. Easy to use, works well with the Razer software, compact and sits right on top of your monitor without needing any adhesives. Very easy to adjust. Definitely one of the best webcams for the price on the market.

A nice camera which provided a quality image. Easy to setup and start using right away. It does have a light. It is a bit bright, if you plan to look directly at the camera. Depending on how close you'll be you may want additional ambient light in the room as well. Would be nice if the camera had a cover of some type, common feature which would be a plus if considered.

I already have the Logitech c922 webcam, but between the two, the built in ring light on the Kiyo definitely gives it the advantage, plus it has slightly better focal depth. But, in ideal lighting conditions, the c922 does get a better exposure. For most people looking for a solid 1080p webcam, the Kiyo is well worth the price.

Great camera. Feels well built and has excellent image quality. The ring light is nice, I don’t use it much because the direct light reflects too much on my glasses. The option to dim or turn off is perfect as others in the family use it. Tested on Chromebook, Mac and Windows. There really isn’t a great way to configure on Mac so you are kind of stuck with the wide view. Zoom does allow minor changes. Eventually moved it to another computer for a more configurable option. Mic quality is okay. Not significantly better or worse than others, ended up using a headset anyway so not an issue. Pros - great image quality - easy to mount and has threads - adjustable light built in - low light is good - autofocus works well Con - fairly standard sound from mic - hard to configure (no zoom, color balance...) on Mac, some options if you use zoom.

I like it! It worked perfectly out of the box, completely plug and play. Good resolution and voice input is good for a camera based microphone. The ring light puts out some lumens, no need to increase the ambient light in the room.

This camera is lighting perfection! Bought this for my online tutoring business. Provides multiple light settings, is easily installed, has a quality mic, and is a great value.

I've been using this webcam for about 7 months at this point. Overall it's a pretty good webcam for its price. The quality is good if you are looking for a 1080P/30F or 720P/60F camera, better than cheaper ones I've tried, especially in lower light. The ring light doesn't present a lot of light and I wouldn't rely on it alone. It's not a replacement for a larger ring light. If you don't have a larger ring light it does help with low-light performance a bit and fills in the lighting on your face, which is nice for situations where you are backlit. The light can be adjusted by turning the ring around the edge of the camera. The mic is typical for a webcam. It works if you need a microphone, but you are almost always better if you use a dedicated mic or a headset. The camera is a bit bulky compared to some other webcams, so it's a bit less portable than smaller webcams out there, but you can screw mount it to a tripod and the built-in ring light make up for this. It's a bit of trade-off. I really don't like Razer's software. It didn't always work for me and feels heavier than needed. The software does allow some more configuration, but you don't need it. If you already use Razer Synapse and like using it then the Kiyo will just integrate its self into that setup. There are better cameras out there. It doesn't have 4K or 60 FPS at 1080P, but ones that do that are also more expensive. For around $100 I think it's a good camera worth considering.

If you need a webcam for zoom or even some livestreams and don’t wanna spend too much this is perfect. Solid quality at a solid price. Super easy to use and you can even customize the settings a bit using Razer synapse.

I have always been a huge fan of Razer products for their ingenuity and sturdiness. When I found out that they made a webcam, I had to get it. I love this webcam. The picture is very high quality. The built-in ring light is my favorite feature. You can adjust it's brightness by rotating the bezel around the camera. It's pretty much plug and play, very easy to set up. I'm happy with my purchase.

The company I work for recently had our first Zoom meeting which was for a legal matter. The laptop I was going to use had a built-in camera and microphone but wanted something that was higher quality than what was standard on my computer due to the topics being discussed. Also needed better lighting as my computer didn't offer any and standard overhead fluorescent bulbs found in most offices wasn't good enough. Decided to purchase this camera as it was in stock, had an all-in-one light ring, and prior reviews stated it was easy to install. Picked up at a Best Buy two counties over from where I live with no issues. I love my local Best Buy. They didn't have both of the items I needed so I found one near my parent's home that did and picked it up on my way over. Installation was super easy. Followed the directions, plugged everything in, and went to the Zoom test page. Image came right up on the zoom meeting. Didn't need to go into the settings or anything. Literally just plug and play. It has a nice clever mount so you can hook it to the monitor meaning no need for a stand. Puts it right at face level so our face was centered pretty well on the screen with no adjustment. Works really well. No issues whatsoever.

Overall a great webcam. Super easy to set up, good quality, and easy to control additional settings. Camera quality isn’t the clearest ever but is fully functional; you definitely get what you pay for with this webcam!

I haven't been able to use it much yet, but the quality and setup have been extremely smooth and simple. The cam can be set up and placed anywhere within your vicinity and still have a great effect when it comes to the lighting. For the lack of time I've had and used it, it's treated me well.

Very good, I got it half off($50). I just recently got a gaming pc and it was so simple to use. It automatically downloads razer stnapes, and all you have to do to add it to OBS is add it to your spurces.

Pros: noticeably HD quality (especially next to other 720p zoom squares!), adjustable stand/mount and little ring light, sturdy construction, integrates seamlessly in synapse Cons: the stand/mount is a little bulky and not well suited for thin-bezeled monitors Overall a great external webcam though maybe wait for a sale.

Super easy to use webcam. the software is simple enough to use as well. I have been using it for my stream with no complaints, other than maybe the autofocus at night. And that is very nitpicky, It is a great all in one camera ang light for the money.
