Great headset and True 7.1 surround

I am amazed how good the sound quality is. I tried the Razer Mano'War and SteelSeries 650, both of them echoed with 7.1 surround, but not this one. The bass is pretty good, it has an option to turn it up louder but it isn't needed. When playing games I can tell where players are moving with the virtual surround. The microphone volume is very good, I only have to turn the mic volume to 50% to sound loud

    Not as good as expected

Of course, the bass is quite decent and the audio quality is definitely on par with the price tag. Except the biggest turn off is the physical attributes: - The plastic feel is awful. It feels like cheap product on your head. - I have a bigger head than usual, so it does not fit me comfortably. This may also apply to you if your head is larger than usual. - The earcups squeeze into you by the bottom of your ear, meaning over long periods of time it can hurt your head. If you are a Razer fan, feel free to make this purchase. The product is still very good, it just feels not on par.

Admittedly I'm not a gamer, I got these for the music capabilities to use while I'm at work. After the initial install of the Razer software, everything worked great until I tried Skype for Business. I couldn't hear anybody else, but they could all hear me. I contacted Razer support and their advice was to uninstall and reinstall everything - though this was a brand new install. Much to my surprised this solved the issue. It came as a surprise to me that the built-in microphone could be muted/unmuted by squeezing the end of it; not an obvious motion or is it well marked. My main complaint, then, is the lack of volume control on the headphones themselves - especially for this USB model. Music sounds very full. Wearability isn't all-day, unfortunately. I found myself wanting to take them off and reposition on top of my ears, etc just to get some relief for a few minutes.

I play CS GO and RB6 where a 7.1 headset is a must. And boy do these puppies work. Being able to hear someone practically breathing behind you is great. Although you obviously cant see any of the colors while you have it on, it is a nice addition when it is laying down. I wore these for about 6 hours straight, I wanted to check for fatigue and I got none, I wore them when I got up to make food and walk around and they were fine. The ear cups are just the right size also.

when I got this Headphone, I was not expecting too much, however the sound is "clean" and the bass is really good. But what I like the most, was that I connected it to my Iphone 6, using the Lightning to USB adapter that I have, (the connector of the headphones is USB) and it worked flawlessly, I also have the Samsung Phone and using the Micro usb adapter it worked as well, the microphone can be hidden in the unit, which is really cool, pretty smart idea. The clarity of the sound is amazing, and I did Skype and have no complains.

I like this headset because, the audio quality is great and surround sound is very noticeable. The microphone sounds great for its price. It is very comfortable for periods shorter than 2 hours, but any longer your ears might hurt. I love the lighting and with Razer Synapse you can customize the colors. The one major con is the cord. It is very long and tangles a lot. I struggle to keep it straight and I have yet to find a continuing fix. Overall I really like this headset and would recommend it to a friend.

This is an amazing product. It can like how you can download an app and change its chroma colors. It fits quite well, and after having an old headset (and downloading 7.1 surround drivers), you can really tell the difference. Buy it! (I bought it on sale) Great value at $79.99, I think it is worth $99 though.

This headset is great! The sound is crisp and clear when gaming and makes chatting with friends (gaming or not) much easier. Compared the turtle beach headphones I was using these are the end all be all.

Returned this thing once already because sound kept turning off while I was in a call with someone. Over that Sound is great but I would not use this item for talking which it was made for so I am definitely going to switch over to another headset.

    Great sound But bad noise

When you touch the cable or your clothes touch the cable, or a you brush up against .the cable, you get a rubbing noise that travels up the headset. I contacted support, They wanted me to plug it into my phone. A USB into a phone. They are completely getting it confused with the Pro version which, I do not have. I had to upload a picture of the serial numbers since, the tech still thinks its a Kraken Pro and not what I am telling him Kraken 7.1 V2.. The support is awful, and I am sure they know about it but yet refuses to fix them and keeps selling it. Do not buy if you cant ignore the noise. I may have to return them, it gets very annoying.

The cord.. omg.. the cord makes so much noise in the headset!!!!! If you move your head and the cord touches anything it radiates into the left ear of the headset. It is the most annoying thing ever.. I took the headset back.
