These are a great headset. The only con I have is that the ear cushions do unravel after a little use.

I was looking for a great quality gaming headset when I found this gem. It's a wired USB headset that gives a nice punch for console gaming but shines best when used in PC gaming with the multiple ways of customizing audio setting.

I like playing PUBG with them. They work great. Recommended.

These headphones are being used by my 13 year old for his gaming computer . He tells me they are amazing because he can basically hear a pin drop and can hear the players in his game sneak up behind him. He loves them!

I bought these for my PC to play games with. I had the older model, (The v1). These headphones are super lightweight and sound Incredible! They are the perfect gaming headphones. I highly recommend you purchase them.

Good price and value. If you're looking for a good gaming headset - this is one that you should check out. Its not very pricy at less than $100 bucks, and the performance is good. Good sound and mic.

This headset like just about all razer products are great quality and very durable. My only con with this is that the wired isn't sturdy and you will most likely get a popping noise depending on where you connect this headset to on your computer.

This microphone is perfect and also comes with surround sound software. It has a fantastic warranty on the product from the manufacturer, and it will work for years of hardcore gaming.

Like the fit and feel of these headsets. Ear cups block out a lot of the exterior noise my previous Razers did not. I also like the USB connection s the 3mm jacks my old razers had.

The Razer Kraken 7.1 v2 is a mixed bag for many reasons. In some ways I really like it. In other ways I loathe it. First, I love the build quality. I’ve had several gaming headsets, and I have to say that this one feels the most durable out of all of them. Almost the entire frame is made from metal, and there is no visible plastic structural pieces. In other words, I don’t think this will break and fall apart as another brand I’ve had has. I like that the headband, and size adjustments are one piece and don’t incorporate any fancy rotation (which is usually the weakest part of these headsets). There is even markings on the headband adjustment that if you’re like me, you get it comfortable, note what setting you were at, and then can check it at any time. I like the retractable microphone which keeps it out of the way when I’m not using it. I love that the mic also has a visual indicator of mute, which is extremely helpful. I am a big fan of the RGB lighting as well, even if it’s a bit silly. The lighting is flexible and well done. The cables (even the adjustment cables from the drivers to the headbands) are braided and good quality. Unfortunately there is no way to adjust volume other than software. The sound is actually pretty good. The 50mm drivers are huge, and deliver deep powerful bass.without feeling as though they were artificially tuned. These headphones are relatively balanced sounding and are complemented by the large driver size giving them a large dynamic range. They can be a bit bass heavy, but not egregiously so. The highs are crisp and the mids have definition. I’ve heard worse sound recently from other more audio focused brands. Gaming wise I’m disappointed by ‘virtual 7.1’ surround sound. I’ve had other gaming sets which appear as multi-channel audio outputs, and will use true surround sound. The Kraken only does virtual, which doesn’t really do a whole lot in my experience. The demos are nifty, but I haven’t ran into many games I’ve played where I’ve noticed it’s capabilities stand out. The microphone quality seems good, but I’ve had it start to get digital interference. I can only assume it's software related. The background noise cancelation doesn’t seem quite as good as I’ve had on other devices. Speaking of software, you are required to install Razer Synapse. All I can say is all these companies are getting ridiculous. Between Razer, Logitech, SteelSeries, and MSI my system tray is littered with applications that have one job and insist on doing twelve. Razer is no different, but at least Synapse has improved in the past couple years. The app offers calibration, microphone adjustments, equalizer settings, lighting control and more. The earpads are comfortable, and help make the headset comfortable for longer wearing sessions. They get a bit warm on me, but so does every other can style headphone. In general, the gaming headset market is pretty competitive. If you’re looking for a great sounding headset that is also a gaming fashion statement, the Kraken is a great option. I wouldn’t recommend these for their surround abilities, but for general competence, they’re quite a good unit. Solid build quality, good components, and some nifty feature make these a win in my book.

My nephew loved this gift. He's 19 and has played video games for years. He said the sound quality is amazing, microphone is strong, and makes the whole gaming experience even better.

I play CS GO mainly and I can tell the difference. This headphones have improved my accuracy so much. I can hear the footsteps so clearly that I get a sense of enemies where they are.

Great headphones! My daughter is tough on audio products, but this bold and beautiful set is both tough and terrific! Great sound. Nice looking design. Highly recommend.

I like my razer headset it's cool for playing games like arma 3 but sometimes you'll hear sounds in front of you and they'll be behind you really. Over all though great headset really nice build quality. I highly recommend it!

Very comfortable and volume was set perfect for me. I enjoyed talking to people I game with then having to type to them on keyboard. I use them all the time when I am gaming.

This have changed online gaming for my daughter. She absolutely loves these and would not go back to her old headphones. Highly recommend for all online gamer's.
