I picked this up for my daughter, and wow! This is the most unique gaming headset that I have personally came across, and I have been gaming for over 30 years! The interchangeable ears are absolutely genius, and really set the Razer Kraken Kitty Edition V2 Pro apart from the competition! In addition to being able to express herself, I know she is also experiencing the same amazing quality we have come to expect from Razer is so many other areas as well! 1. The sound quality is fantastic. Music and gaming both sound great, with clean bass and crips mids and highs. 2. Comfort. These can be worn for hours without experiencing the dreaded ear fatigue that plagues so many headsets today. Perfect for marathon gaming sessions, or enjoying a movie. 3. Build quality. This is a solid headset that is absolutely built to last. I always look for headsets that can take some abuse, and this one does that very well! I am confident this will last many years. Overall this is a very unique but still well built and high performing headset that I am sure anyone would love!

I’ll start off with the caveat that I’m reviewing these headphones through a completely aesthetic lens. If you’re buying these because you want the best audio quality for the price, remember that some portion of what you are paying for these went into the ears and the advertising and the LED lighting. That said, the audio quality was very good. It’s as good as could be expected in the over-$100 category. Everything can be tweaked in the Razer software but I prefer flat. Build quality is good, again, about what you would expect for the price. I am not a fan of the leatherette ear cups because they get hot and make my ears hot, but nobody seems to be using velour or mesh these days in the sub-$300 category. And then, for the reason anyone would buy these: the appearance. The ears snap in and out easily. They look cute. Either you want them or you don’t. The LED customization availability in software is as thorough as you could possibly imagine. It actually seemed a bit overwhelming so I just left it blinking pink and blue. Grab it if you want it and laugh. They put a smile on the face of anyone who sees them.

I think this headset makes the best gift to your egirl friend! The ears light up as well as the razer logos on the side. The ears are very cute especially if you're a streamer. The pink is such a nice shade that you'll definitely like it even if you're not a big fan of the color pink. The drivers on the headset are surprisingly good too. The lower ends are easily distinguishable alongside the mids and highs. Listening to music with this headset is amazing and playing games with it is even better. I can hear every footsteps made and every low bangs or high explosions. Razer definitely delivered. My biggest takeaway is that it's not wireless so if you don't mind wires, then you should seriously consider this headset. The mic quality is okay. It's nothing crazy but it gets the job done. Apart from some streaming or online voice chats, I wouldn't mind using it. It's definitely not a condenser mic to be used for recordings. The build quality feels hefty and expensive. The headset doesn't feel fragile overall and it feels comfortable to the head over prolonged gaming periods.

The Razer Kraken Kitty Edition V2 Pro headset is a pretty amazing headset though it's wired only. 3 sets of ears let you customize it to suit your personality. Or your personality at the moment. Sound quality is great, audiophile gamers will enjoy for sure. While this particular headset doesn't have spatial audio, the 7.1 setup is impressive. Good quality sound across the range. From music, to FPS games, MMORPGs and jumpscare games, you'll enjoy the sound quality. The microphone is good. Voice comes across clearly with no "far away" sound. If you're not up to chatting while gaming, the mic is removeable. Since the cord is permanently attached and ends in a USB-A connector, you wont be using these on the go for music. The ears light up and have RGB built in, which can be customized in Razer Synapse once it's loaded on your PC. There's even a cosplay mode where you can use a battery bank to power the lights away from a PC, though the colors are more limited and not really customizable. 4 stars for not having a removable USB cable and limited color schemes in cosplay mode. All in all aa solid and good looking choice for a headset.

Got this as a gift and it is very cute! I love the interchangeable ears! It is a little scary to yank it off/on but so far no issues! I will say though that while the sound is good the headphones do seem to run a big tight.

They improved the comfort by a LOT with the V2 Pro edition. These were definitely on the high end of the price range for gaming headsets, but in my opinion they're well worth it. Buy them for the girl-gamer in your life!

This fits perfectly and I haven’t had any issues. Sound quality is amazing and the ‘ears’ all fit on snug and don’t slide off.

These are cute and gotten lot of compliments from my coworkers. I will say they are a little warm after 30mins. I do wish there were a smaller option for the mic.
