So my middle daughter fancies herself as a future YouTuber, and with her drive it may be an option one day. She also loves wearing things with ears. Headbands, hoodies, you name it. So these Razor Kraken Kitten headphones were a must for her. First off, like most quality electronics, the opening of the headphones is part of the experience. The packaging is nice and everything is neatly placed. It’s so nicely done that my daughter uses the package to store the headphones. The headphones are not too heavy, and weigh in at under a pound (0.76). The construction of them is solid and they feel substantial. They have three sets of ears in the package, kitten, bunny and bear. At first I was questioning why these were so nice, yet they are wired over the ear headphones? Plus them in and I found out why! The ears light up when the draw power from the usb port. It’s actually really cool looking and has a nice soft glow. The speakers boast Dolby 7.1 and says it can accurately pinpoint sound in games. Is he not tried that yet, I’ll be honest. But they do sound really nice. Crisp and clean sound, and though I’m not a real audiophile I’d say they are pretty well balanced. The included detachable mic works really well and can be moved in so many directions that you can easily find your sweet spot. It filters out background noise well. So these earphones are fun and they are also purpose built to put out some great sound. Perfect for your teenager that likes that ironic look or a younger kid that takes good care of their things. I do recommend then and believe you should take a look at them. Definitely a good deal at their price point.

Review for Razer Kraken Kitty Edition V2 Pro Wired RGB Gaming Headset with Interchangeable Ears - Quartz Pink Got these for when the kids come over to game at my house. Thought I might get laughed at but instead found everyone fighting over them! We’re talking adults here :) My first thoughts were about the high quality of the construction and the careful and professional packaging. But after trying them myself, I was more taken by the comfortable fit and excellent quality of the sound. The 7.1 sound feature makes placing audio from games super precise and really enlivens the gameplay. The easily removable cardioid mic captures clear sound and even includes a sweet spot to minimize stray noises. To be clear, 7.1 is only available with Windows 10 64-bit. But the overall quality of the sound is great, with clear ringing highs and quite substantial bass. The interchangeable ears are obviously a big draw: you can choose from kitty, bear, or bunny. The ears are easy to pop off and change but stay put nicely. Of course, they also light up which just adds to the cute factor. If you use them with the Razer app, you can customize the light colors to respond to streaming events, which sounds like fun, but I did not give that a try yet. Some reviewers have commented that they found the fit tight. I have a big head and found them comfortable and easily adjustable. They have very soft ear cups that cut out extraneous sound and the headband padding is comfy. Even after wearing them for over an hour, I had no problems at all.

These headphones are impressive! For starters, I love the design. The vibrant, bright pink really stands out and the interchangeable ears are adorable! They're super easy to swap out. The headphones rest comfortably on my head and I've had zero fatigue issues with my ears. They have ample cushioning for long gaming hours in addition to other tasks you may be doing at your computer like editing or homework. The included detachable microphone is surprisingly crisp and clear. I usually voice chat with friends and they commented on how much better I sounded with this headset. I also recorded myself speaking to hear for myself and I'd say this would make a great headset for making content. My voice was clear and I didn't have to use any extra programs. I also like that it has a physical mute button that I can tap anytime I want to make sure no one can hear me. The sound is also great! It's immersive and clear. The RGB aspect of them is also super fun! You're going to need to download additional Razer software to get the most out of them, but luckily I already had all of that so it was pretty easy to integrate into my system. I'd say if you're on the market for a new headset that has great sound and can be used as a mic, this is one to consider!

What a fun headset! It is super cute, pink, with light-up, interchangeable ears (cat, bear, and rabbit) that make these fun to use. But the looks only tell half the story. Despite the looks, this is a great headset for PC gamers. Build quality is solid. they feel sturdy, like they will last a long time. The foam padding is thick, and the fit is comfortable, even when I'm wearing my glasses. They are fairly light weight, and I'm able to wear them for long periods without getting fatigued or overly hot. Sound quality is great, especially for the price point. I'm able to hear the smallest sounds from all directions in game, and when using these to watch videos or listen to music the sound is well-balanced out of the box, but downloading the Synapse software allows for sound tweaking for multiple uses as well as custom color choices for light features. The microphone has good quality sound. Other players were able to hear and understand me well, and it's detachable, so if you're playing a game without the need for a mic, it's easy to remove and store out of the way. For a mid-range headset, this is feature-rich and has great sound- all in a fun, cute package.

The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro Wired Gaming Headset in Quartz Pink is not only aesthetically pleasing with the adorable ears but comes with the detachable hyperclear cardioid microphone for improved looks, lighting and noise cancellation with surround sound. I love that the ear pieces are able to be swapped out to a bunny, bear, or kitty with ease to fit ones level of feisty on a daily basis. The middle of the ears even light up which is such a fun touch! The headset itself is very comfortable and can be worn for hours at a time whether you are using them for gameplay, schoolwork, or even doing meetings from home. Found these very comfortable for every day use. The ear cushion is made of memory foam and I love how the headset fits snugly but not tight even on a slightly larger head. All in all, I am happy with this gaming headset. The downfall to these headphones lies in that they are wired; however, this is an acceptable trade-off given the draw of the RGB lighting. These are a great addition to a pink-based gamer room or for some added flair to the daily headphone life

This is a very nice pair of headphones, especially for a young girl. I tried them out for sound quality and general utility, but, with the pink color and interchangeable ears, it was my 8-year-old granddaughter for whom they’re really meant for and who could really put them through the wringer. She’s been using them for about a week now, and she loves them. She has a list of mother-approved games she is allowed to play on her computer, and having headphones means the rest of the house’s occupants to have to be hearing the sound all the time. She says they’re comfortable, sound great, and she, of course, loves the ability to change the ears. Who would have thought, eh? And what more do you need? Setup is easy, which it needs to be for a child, and she was off and running. The phones do include a microphone, which we did test and which works fine. Changing out the ears was also simple, and, of course, as you might expect of an 8-year-old, she was constantly changing them. These would make a great gift for that young gamer!

The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro is just a cute and playful product. However, don’t let the looks deceive you. It is a bonafide Razer gaming product and lives up to the name. Out of the box, it’s got that classic Razer look about it. Build quality certainly seems solid. The “Kitty” part of the headset refers to the ears. These ears have RGB lighting which you can customize to have fun with. If you want to ditch the ears, you certainly can although it kind of defeats the purpose of getting these Kitty headsets. The memory foam is comfortable and big enough that it completely covers my ears. It was pleasant enough that I could wear it for hours. My ears did get a little hot but honestly my ears get that way with all headphones. The sound quality is good. It’s punch and is very balanced. I will say that it performs well with gaming. With FPS, it’s precise enough that you can discern sounds but not the exact source. Razer microphones are always really impressive to me. These were no different. Truly will serve you well with streaming or recording. All in all, Razer is a mainstay in the business for a reason and the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro is a fun one.

Bought these, they worked for about two days and then stopped. I then returned them and got a new pair but had the same issue. I basically wasted $200 on cat ears. Don’t buy them.

I think this headset makes the best gift to your egirl friend! The ears light up as well as the razer logos on the side. The ears are very cute especially if you're a streamer. The pink is such a nice shade that you'll definitely like it even if you're not a big fan of the color pink. The drivers on the headset are surprisingly good too. The lower ends are easily distinguishable alongside the mids and highs. Listening to music with this headset is amazing and playing games with it is even better. I can hear every footsteps made and every low bangs or high explosions. Razer definitely delivered. My biggest takeaway is that it's not wireless so if you don't mind wires, then you should seriously consider this headset. The mic quality is okay. It's nothing crazy but it gets the job done. Apart from some streaming or online voice chats, I wouldn't mind using it. It's definitely not a condenser mic to be used for recordings. The build quality feels hefty and expensive. The headset doesn't feel fragile overall and it feels comfortable to the head over prolonged gaming periods.

I picked this up for my daughter, and wow! This is the most unique gaming headset that I have personally came across, and I have been gaming for over 30 years! The interchangeable ears are absolutely genius, and really set the Razer Kraken Kitty Edition V2 Pro apart from the competition! In addition to being able to express herself, I know she is also experiencing the same amazing quality we have come to expect from Razer is so many other areas as well! 1. The sound quality is fantastic. Music and gaming both sound great, with clean bass and crips mids and highs. 2. Comfort. These can be worn for hours without experiencing the dreaded ear fatigue that plagues so many headsets today. Perfect for marathon gaming sessions, or enjoying a movie. 3. Build quality. This is a solid headset that is absolutely built to last. I always look for headsets that can take some abuse, and this one does that very well! I am confident this will last many years. Overall this is a very unique but still well built and high performing headset that I am sure anyone would love!

My daughter loves princess peach. I got her these headphones because she is playing a super Mario game where they turn into cats. She loves the headphones because they are pink and they remind her of the game. There are certain pointless features that she would ever use, but otherwise it is a great product. I am talking about the LED interchangeable ears, while cute and reactive with streaming services, serve no purpose in the practical and functional sense. Again, I'm getting this for my daughter so those are just nit picky observations on my part. I had to try it out for myself and I tell you the comfort is still top tier. The ear cups are cushioned with cooling gel that transfers heat away for maximum comfort and to encourage longer gaming sessions. The headphones also have an option to change the focus of the audio from 7.1 surround sound to THX spatial audio. That makes it good for music and gaming. The microphone picks up My voice very clearly and reduces background noise. Something very important to mention about these headphones is that they are wired but wired by USB. Meaning you cannot plug it into your Switch or gaming controller, This is primarily designed for a computer, but you can always plug it into your gaming console if you want to use it for Xbox or PlayStation.

I’ll start off with the caveat that I’m reviewing these headphones through a completely aesthetic lens. If you’re buying these because you want the best audio quality for the price, remember that some portion of what you are paying for these went into the ears and the advertising and the LED lighting. That said, the audio quality was very good. It’s as good as could be expected in the over-$100 category. Everything can be tweaked in the Razer software but I prefer flat. Build quality is good, again, about what you would expect for the price. I am not a fan of the leatherette ear cups because they get hot and make my ears hot, but nobody seems to be using velour or mesh these days in the sub-$300 category. And then, for the reason anyone would buy these: the appearance. The ears snap in and out easily. They look cute. Either you want them or you don’t. The LED customization availability in software is as thorough as you could possibly imagine. It actually seemed a bit overwhelming so I just left it blinking pink and blue. Grab it if you want it and laugh. They put a smile on the face of anyone who sees them.

The Razer Kraken Kitty Edition V2 Pro headset is a pretty amazing headset though it's wired only. 3 sets of ears let you customize it to suit your personality. Or your personality at the moment. Sound quality is great, audiophile gamers will enjoy for sure. While this particular headset doesn't have spatial audio, the 7.1 setup is impressive. Good quality sound across the range. From music, to FPS games, MMORPGs and jumpscare games, you'll enjoy the sound quality. The microphone is good. Voice comes across clearly with no "far away" sound. If you're not up to chatting while gaming, the mic is removeable. Since the cord is permanently attached and ends in a USB-A connector, you wont be using these on the go for music. The ears light up and have RGB built in, which can be customized in Razer Synapse once it's loaded on your PC. There's even a cosplay mode where you can use a battery bank to power the lights away from a PC, though the colors are more limited and not really customizable. 4 stars for not having a removable USB cable and limited color schemes in cosplay mode. All in all aa solid and good looking choice for a headset.

Got this as a gift and it is very cute! I love the interchangeable ears! It is a little scary to yank it off/on but so far no issues! I will say though that while the sound is good the headphones do seem to run a big tight.

They improved the comfort by a LOT with the V2 Pro edition. These were definitely on the high end of the price range for gaming headsets, but in my opinion they're well worth it. Buy them for the girl-gamer in your life!

This fits perfectly and I haven’t had any issues. Sound quality is amazing and the ‘ears’ all fit on snug and don’t slide off.
