The sound of the headphones are great, as well as the microphone. I talk with friends through discord, and it is picked up perfectly. The free surround sound given by Razer is also a very nice bonus.

This headset has great directional sound. The Razer has included their 7.1 surround program which allows for customization of the direction you're hearing the sound.

I was searching for "gaming" gear for my nephew and after reading reviews I chose these headphones. After several months of use he still loves them! Great purchase - would buy this brand again.

Great Gaming Headset for the Money. Even comes with the upgraded software to make it 7.1 surround sound. Never had a problem with any Razer Products.

I purchased this headset because part of my last one was messing up and Best Buy does not sell the cord I needed separately. This one is much better than the last one I purchased because it has the volume control on the cord

I was quite displeased with this headset. I bought them to replace my Carcharias or however they're spelled headset, and they don't come close. They squeeze my head, they are WAY too bassy, pretty muddy, just not worth my money. The only reason I was replacing my previous headset is because the left cup stopped working. This isn't against Razer, because as I said, Carcharias is probably the best sounding and most comfortable headset I have yet used. Overall just not a good headset.

Only reason they were rated 4 instead of 5 - they're a little bulky. Otherwise a great headset.

so i bought this mic about a week ago and it worked fine. the only problem was that my friends could hear the game i was playing. Then about two days later the mic completely stopped working. poor product overall and overpriced.

I just bought this headset and within 20 minutes of wearing it and listening to a youtube video I have decided to return it. The Kraken Pro is one of the Worst headsets I've used in a long long time. The Headset itself is painful to wear for more than 10 minutes and the sound quality is poor, even for something as simple as a podcast. I cannot attest to the microphone quality as I could not be bothered to put the headset back on. I will be buying another HyperX Cloud which is the same price, but exponentially better in sound, comfort, and i would imagine mic quality (never tested the Kraken).

The headset had low quality volume settings sometimes cutting in sound or not playing at all, mic was terrible and was extremely uncomfortable to wear after hours at times of gaming i would take them off and would have stretch marks on my ears. Personally if you are looking for comfort and a good mic swell as good audio look to hyper x or logitech. Never buying from razer again
