These are great headphones I could wear them for hours but the thing that gets me in my opinion is I feel like the volume is sometimes too low when your in a group chat I wish you they included audio chat volume switches

My last Razer headset conked out after about 7 years of use so it was time for a replacement. I found this set to be the best bang for the price and after using it for a few weeks, I am quite pleased with it.

Hold up well with heavy use The build.in wire usually breaks inside after some time but for now they are fune. I think for the price they are o.k Nothing last forever!

I am usually not a fan of Razer products, due to bad luck in the past, but I bought these for my son and he loves them! Great sound for the price, and they are also built well. I would buy these again.

I have to use the computer to watch online videos and I needed to cut down the noise of the family playing in the background, These were perfect. My husband is now using them for gaming too...

I love a good headset. Whether gaming on the computer or listening to music while working, I love a good headset. The Razer Kraken Pro V2 exceeded my expectations. I use my Kraken headset on the computer downstairs and my BOSE headset upstairs. If you would blindfold me, I would not be able to distinguish the difference in sound between the two headsets. Believe me, I was impressed. The Kraken Pro V2 has excellent, detailed sound balance. There is no distortion, no bloom, no excess warmth clouding over the details. The mids/vocals are darker than neutral for sure, but not to the point of being distractingly muffled or veiled. The mids and highs sit on top of the bass, fully audible, present, and clear. The result is a sound that’s bass-rich and fun, but also suited to a wide variety of sounds. Soundstage excellent for a closed design, thanks in part to the design of the ear pads and the massive ear cups (more on that later). This is great for gaming! You’ll hear sounds far away from your head, and there’s no stuffiness or “cupped hands” quality to the audio. They are more than sensitive enough to be powered by anything, whether that’s a mobile phone, a console controller, a computer, or a headphone amp. I got the same nice sound with all of these devices. Let’s get some potential negatives out there: For some, the ear cups on the Kraken Pro V2…are monstrous. Doesn’t bother me though. The cable doesn’t detach. That’s not uncommon in this price range, but other headsets have managed it. The Kraken Pro V2 also doesn’t fold down. I imagine cutting the hinges helped with costs and made the new aluminum frame possible. It might affect the wonderful sound qualities and tones though, so I wouldn’t entertain any change in design. I really enjoy everything else about the design and build. The aluminum frame is the perfect blend of durability and lightweight. The headband adjustment mechanisms are solid and very clicky and fun to adjust. They’re numbered so you can match each side easily. It’s a solid- feeling headset in the hand, with no hint of cheapness or weakness. Comfort is exceptional. After years of ranting to anyone who would listen to me about headphone/headset comfort, it’s so refreshing to see a number of models in a row with perfect comfort. The ear pads are massive and plush, and the holes are large. They’re circular, and circular pads only work if the hole is quite big. It’s easy to pop the pads off. Remember, I’m comparing these to some of the most expensive headphones in the industry. I’m impressed! The ear pads are designed to seal around glasses for those that wear them thanks to an “inmold channel”, and I can attest to this. I think more headphones should do this. I imagine the padding used here helps the large pads to seal better on a wide variety of heads, and just happens to also provide a benefit to glasses wearers. The headband is padded across the whole length, and the underside is a nice squishy cloth. It hugs my head nicely and doesn’t cause any discomfort. The mic is retractable and performs admirably. Conclusion/Comparisons The V2 is not stupidly bass-heavy. This allows for the richness of sound come through. Extremely comfortable. Quality of sound is equitable to those of headsets that cost me 3 times the price of the V2. A winner!

Bought these for my gamer son for his birthday. According to him they worked well for the price point - better than they ones they replaced for a similar price.

Good headset, only complaint is that the bass on them are not as good as the original razer kraken pro headset. But other than that it's much more comfortable and durable.

Bought these because of their versatility. Theyre great to chat online on pc, mic is clear and sound is great. They play music from an iphone very well also with a good amount of bass. When used connected to a ps4 controller, i wished there was a little more volume but the worked ok. Overall a good pair of headphone for the price as long as your device can drive them. Its strong points are its build, the retractable mic, 3.5mm versatility, and good bass.

I seem to replace my gaming headphones every 6-9 months, not because the quality degrades, but because the connection from the headphone to the PC fails. I have tried a lot of brands and nobody has seemed to figure out how to solve this Wired headphone problem. This brand is the best I have found, but still falls short in my opinion. If you get the protection plan for a few dollars more, then you just replace once or twice a year through best buy. This is not the most convenient option, but the only one I have found to solve my problem. Headphones are great in every other area.

My son was hoping to get wireless headphones but ended up getting these instead. He actually enjoyed using them and thought it has good sound quality

These headphones are very comfortable but as for most lower end headphones and Mikes sound and Voice output are not that very good

Works great. I have had other Gaming headsets in the past. The sound coming out of this headset is much more clear than my previous headsets

The headphones speakers have very clear 3D sound. During gameplay you can tell what direction things are coming from.
