Fantastic quality and very comfortable for a big egghead like me

So while I was able to get the Blackshark V2 to the point where it was working properly on my PC I felt some parts of the playback sound signature were a bit lacking. Then, I found this Kraken Ultimate was about half off the price and being that it was like an old Steelseries headset I experimented with in terms of its design and features I took a leap of faith if you will. I wasn't let down. Razer Synapse 3.0 plays better with this headset than the Blackshark V2 towards getting it working just right. Just plug it in, let Synapse load it up, find a good EQ setting bank to set the headset to and you're good. Would I have bought this headset if it wasn't on sale? Maybe I would've but I digress, I'll admit the near 50% off the price helped the decision making. Pros: Excellent sound signature on playback Easier setup in Synapse 3.0 Naturally loud and proud Mic once you learn from the Internet how to set it up properly is solid as well Cons: Headset is TOO loud at first (set the volume in Windows to very low otherwise away go your eardrums).

Overall I enjoyed this headset as it didn't feel comfortable at first, they turned out fitting nicely. They block out sound which is nice and the cord is fairly long. The mic rolls of which I liked but I would have like the mic to be a little longer. Mic is simple to use and works well. The RGB lights on the side of the headset aren't to bright but looks good.

In my opinion the best mid range USB gaming headset out there. Razer nails it once again here. Comfortable, great sound, a retractable mic which might not sound great but it actually is. I also work from home and they work with Amazon Work Space and Microsoft Teams. Highly recommend.

they are awesome, my kid loves the sound and flexibility with Pc and Xbox.

I have had this Headset for 2 years now, and I haven’t had a single problem with it yet, I definitely recommend it to new gamers.

Razer did a great job for the overall build quality of the Kraken Ultimate. Straight out of the box you can tell that this is a super premium feeling headset. The metal frame feels super sturdy but not heavy enough to constantly remind you that it’s on your head. The fake leather on the ear-cups and headband doesn’t feel cheap and feels convincingly like real leather. Sound quality is nothing special unless you’ve never used a THX headset, but it took me a while to get used to, coming from a Kraken Tournament Edition. The mic isn’t anything too stellar, the software helps make up for it through the customization but not as much as I hoped. I thought I would love the mic mute red led since I always forget that I’m muted in tense situations but it really depends on where you position it or your head shape. I personally did not get this headset for the RGB but it looks really nice if you want it on. I also really expected this headset to have onboard memory for the price point but it doesn’t and that really annoys me since Razer Synapse annoys everyone and I don’t like having software run in the background. Overall I enjoy the headset but it’s definitely overpriced at msrp compared to other headsets on the market and would not recommend unless it’s on sale, but even then I believe better mics can be found for less.

Have never owned a headset this great, Razer hasn’t disappointed me yet!

Purchased these for “work” as I have to use a headset for 8 hours a day but also when I want to play on PC. They are extremely comfortable to wear even after 8 hours. The sound quality is great and overall I’m really glad with this purchase

Great headphones, they hold up good but I needed a usb extender for mine.

Awesome headset that lights up in a lot of different colors. I personally like the fact that you can change it to light up to whatever colors you want using the program you can download for free. The sound is good and I like gaming with this headset and also listening to music. Good buy.
