Works great with ps5
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is amazing! Works really well with ps5 too. Download synapse 4 on pc and customize the headset and the hub. Add new sections to use with console and even turn off rgb with hub

Stay away from this headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible headset almost no redeeming qualities. The haptics are a total gimmick that blend into the bass but is not in sync at all. The connection on pc is incredibly hit or miss it would work once in a blue moon. For this price it’s an absolute scam.

Gives back what you put in... and then some.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SUMMARY: If you want plug and play without spending time exploring the settings, there are cheaper alternatives. But look no further if you enjoy customizing the sound (and RGB!) stage, this sounds great with amazing base and looks just as good. It’s perfect for those that take pride in their gaming rig and want the best. PROs - Sound quality is great particularly on the low ends giving oomph to explosions and weapon sounds. - Easy to wear for extended period of time, comfortable, well fitting, reasonable weight makes it easy to wear - Excellent wireless connection, could walk around the house and it stay connected. - Great battery life. - Quality construction, durable MATTER OF TASTE - Tethered to a bulky base, so not good for laptop portability. It can be used without it, but don’t get all the features. - Doesn’t reach its full potential until you spend time tweaking all the options. - Microphone quality is good for a retractable microphone - I liked the haptics that added a more physical sensation, but they need tweaking to taste. -Controls, controls, controls, with great power comes great responsibility. Sure, some like all that control at your fingertips, some might find its more clutter on the desk. CONs -Manual controls means if you tune the haptics per game, you must remember the settings for optimal results. Is that a con? MORE WORDS First and foremost, these fit really well. Some over the ear headsets can make my ears sweat, these don’t. The cushions are plush, yes there is some heft to it, but I wore them for hours with no problem (headsets are no good if you can’t wear them). The sound stage is amazing with games, really feels 3D. It’s great for movies and music as well, so you are getting your money’s worth…. but obviously if ALL you want is great sound there are other choices. And options? Way too many to count, so many you get not one but two apps to control, synapse 4 and chroma, not to mention the physical controller hub. And how about 4 different ways to connect, including wireless. You can connect your phone and game at the same time. And it comes with three different adapter cables. RGB you say? Yep, though it’s on your ear cups and you won’t see it. But if you have a rocking RGB computer system, you will fit right in. And for me, sometimes I want simplicity. This is not that. It’s a tweakers dream come true for sure. The final results are really impressive. But if you don’t want to tweak, you might not find this to be a good value. You are paying for all those controls. And I think that’s my wrap up on who is this for, the gamer that wants the ultimate in audio visual ear tech for the desktop rig and loves to tweak. Truly the best of times and the worst of times. 5 stars if you want to immerse yourself in your headset, 4 stars if you don’t.

Kinda disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are not that great for their price. Debating on returning them because for a 400$ headset u can’t adjust chat and game volume with the mixer or the headset. The haptics are barely noticeable and they are not comfortable for more then 3 hours max.

Overpriced
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Constant disconnects, have to restart it constantly. The mic will switch automatically to bluetooth when I get a phone call, but needs restarted to switch back to PC. Synapse will fail to find it while its turned on 50% of the time. Not happy with it at all.

Ok headset but not ok on the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound good out of the box but for the price it's not great. I'll keep it short and hopefully helpful. Compared to other high-end sets like Astro A50, Arctis, and Alienware those headsets are much better as far as sound quality. The bass is lacking. It seems like they used the haptics to artificially create bass sound. I agree with others. Haptics not needed on headsets. if you don't like the idea of force feedback in your ears, stay away from these. It's a weird sensation to me.

Kraken V4 Pro is the best.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A serious upgrade from the last iteration, this headset is perhaps the premiere headset from Razer.

Great Headphones, Metallic sounding mic.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loud and comfortable. Though the materials don't feel all that durable. General construction feels fine and sturdy, but the materal on the ear cups and headstrap feels like it's going to begin to show deterioration inside of a year or so. It feels like that hyper thin leatherette material that feels nice to touch, but just gets eaten away so quickly from the oils in your skin. Seen this happen on a bunch of high end headsets. As long as replacements are affordable and readily availible this isnt really an issue for the ear cups, I'll take comfort over durability in some cases. The control hub it comes with acts as the wireless dongle, and offers a little screen you can customize, and a button to switch between control options that can be adjusted using the wheel. It's simple, but looks nice on the desk. And if your using a smaller form factor keyboard without media controls, it's nice to have a volume knob at the ready to not need to click through menus or grab my remote to adjust volume. Separation of audio outputs is great, I can set Discord up on one channel and general computer audio on the other and dynamically adjust the output between them to favor one or the other depending on what I am doing. Makes playing online with friends a lot easier. I appreciate features like this as I usually have a group chat up and it's nice to be able to keep that audio control separate from everything else. Biggest misstep here though is the microphone, no matter what I do, it sounds just a little echoey and metallic. It will do in a pinch but in general I don't recommend the Mic on this, I've had clearer mic input on entry level headsets. But as a pair of gaming headphones to get immersed in your games, these are great, The haptics is a love it or hate it kind of thing, and games that specifically support it are few, but even just using the audio aware haptics, can give the bass and big extra RUMBLE. It's fun. It can make the overall audio quality drop, so I don't really recommend it for music, but when you're in a game and hunkered down with a LMG the thumpthumpthump of the haptics as you fire is awesome. The RGB lighting looks nice, but unless your streaming, might as well save a little battery and turn it off to extend time between recharges. Overa;; these are great if you like the Razer aesthetic, and don't mind the premium. Get a nice desktop Mic though if your serious about the quality of your voice on chat. The mic on this wont make you impossible to understand, but it's not amazing.

Absolute horrid sound.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For what these headphones cost, you think you're getting high quality sound. However, this could not be further from the truth. This headset sounds like a $20 knockoff you get from amazon. Absolutely horrid sound and bass is terrible and they attempt to make it up with the "haptics". Haptics are ok at best. Also, heads up, if you look at the specs here on best buy, it says they are "Active Noise Cancelling: Yes"....its just the mic and that does not even sound good. Astro's outperform this in every sense at a lesser price point. I recommend Steel Series, Audeze, Astro, ANYTHING but these headphones.
