Razor continuously improves upon their design with each new version. V4 seems to have better sound quality than the prior gen. Over all very pleased with this headset.

These headphones worked great. We found them to be comfortable for long term use, but they occasionally disconnect after restarting the PC in wireless mode.

This is a good quality headset. Sound quality is very good and clear. Fits comfortably around my ears. Noise cancelation is average.

I had a little difficulty connecting with my PS5 but other then that I like it and I wish the mute button was on the mic but I think I’m just used to having that with my old one

Bought this headset because my old one was startinf to mess up, and the minute i set it up, and ran my first game, the difference in audio quality was like night and day from my old one, even when my original one was brand new, it couldnt hold a candle to how good this headset is.

Excellent purchase, audio quality has been great so far and the wireless connection works great, I have always liked Razer products and this headset was a great no nonsense upgrade from the older Razer headset I have been using.

No complaints everything works good only issue i have is the THX spatial audio only really works when plugged in but still sounds great

Good so far. Great sound and love how the colors sync with all my Razer setup. My only ask is that the 7.1 or Dolby were easier to setup and utilize

Somtimes it works great but i ha e had to shut it off and turn it back on to get clear sound when it works good the sound quoliry is good and the mic is great just wish it would be perfect all the time

Short story is this headset is awful. Sure the audio when listening to music/games is alright but the mic is one of the worst I've ever owned. Downright probably the worst mic I've ever heard in all of gaming. For something that came out in 2024 this is just beyond pathetic. Stay away from this headset. I strongly recommend the Blackshark V2. You can snag a wired version for only $50 and it's infinitely better than this overpriced $180 headset. More to say about it down below if you're interested. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm a Razer fanboy at heart and I've enjoyed most of their products. The keyboards are great, the mice are solid and the headsets have been sweet. Well, except for this one. I was excited to move to the Kraken V4 since my older headset is the Blackshark V2 pro. I really loved that headset but I figured it was time for an "upgrade". The sound from the new Kraken is great when listening to music/gaming. Everything sounds clear and the surround sound is a neat feature. However, the Kraken V4 mic quality literally sounds like a single ear piece mic from the Xbox 360 days. It's absolutely dreadful. If you're comparing a modern day headset microphone released in 2024 and it's comparable to a mic that was released in 2005 something is horribly wrong. I've done multiple tests across many different applications and they all sound the same. Muddled, full of static and the built in gain is off the charts. I can hear my mouse click when the headset is a good three ft away from me. It picks up EVERYTHING that is around you. Noise cancellation software can't fix it either. I tried to fix the dogwater mic audio and I am returning it the day after I purchased this. It's just a lost cause. An absolute embarrassment on Razer's end. Razer is one of the big PC gaming equipment companies but this microphone is absolutely pathetic. I paid $180 for a headset where the audio from the mic sounds like I have the microphone down my mouth breathing heavily into it. Stay far far far away from this product. I would much rather use my damaged Blackshark than touch this Kraken again. Don't let Razer fool you bragging about all the "neat features". I would strongly recommend the Blackshark V2. The audio sounds about the same compared to the Blackshark V2 and the mic is about as good as it can get. The Blackshark mic sounds like you're talking right in front of someone and the mic barely picks up any background noise straight out the box. No other applications required. Funny enough the built in headset mic is the best I heard ever. It's everything you could ever ask in a headset microphone. Plus you can get the wired version for only $50. I'm sure the mic quality is about the same as the pro version I own. Very impressive for a built in mic. If I could give this Kraken headset lower than one star I absolutely would. I just can't overstate how awful this product is. I'm ashamed that the company I'm a fanboy of puts out products like this sometimes. Makes me want to switch to another brand like steelseries. Just had to rant about how absolutely pathetic this headset is. The great sounding audio absolutely does not justify the horrendous mic quality. Asking $180 for this is criminal. Razer dropped the ball on this one. Honestly this product just killed my mood after having a rather good day.
