It has the best audio! It sounds so crisp and clear. I usually just use regular headphones but this headset really is worth the money!

The worst built headsets in the industry.

This is easily the WORST built best sounding headset I have ever bought. I can NOT recommend this item. It is built poorly. The plastic arms holding the ear cups have cracked multiple times. They simply are trash. The sound on the other hand is really good. I would daresay it is upper tier. But it doesn't overcome the fact that I have had these less than 2 months and they are now unusable. If you have a small head then they MIGHT work. But if you take them off your head incorrectly then the plastic arms WILL snap. Not possibly snap, absolutely positively snap. The sound is good for the price. The build quality isn't good at ANY price. Stay the heck away from these headphones. Simply a waste of money.

It's really good, but a little heavy because of the battery. I realize I prefer the hardwire connected ones.

Usually like Razer products as I use the Blackshark V2 Pro on my PS5. Bought the Kraken V4 and returned in 2hrs. Despite being all plastic they feel extremely premium quality. However for me with a small oval head they fall off even on the smallest setting. First Razer headset to ever do that. Secondly is the new 40mm drivers sound horrible. Zero bass compared to the Blackshark. Guns sound hollow. Third is the microphone is atrocious. Echos all the time despite changing settings in Synapse

To start, the sound quality on this headset is very good. The problems I have are the audio ducking with a completely unnecessary voice over of "Mic off" or "Mic on" is ridiculous. The retractable microphone stopped fully retracting within a few weeks of usage. Also frequently after un-muting my microphone won't pick up any audio from me. I'll be returning this and getting something different.

The Razer - Kraken V4 Wireless Gaming Headset comes in Razer's signature black and green packaging. Unlike its predecessors, the Kraken V4 is fully wireless, with a USB-C dongle for 2.4 GHz connectivity, a braided USB-C to USB-A cable, and a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Design-wise, the V4 has large, foam-padded ear cups covered in breathable mesh fabric, making it comfortable for long sessions. It's all plastic, which makes it lighter but perhaps slightly less sturdy, although the overall build quality feels very solid. The headset offers wireless connectivity via 2.4 GHz, a Type-C dongle, or Bluetooth, and wired connectivity through a USB Type-C cable. It features Razer TriForce Titanium 40 mm drivers and a retractable unidirectional Razer HyperClear Super Wideband microphone. The battery life is up to 35 hours with RGB enabled (70 hours without), and it weighs 350 grams. Additional features include Razer Chroma nine-zone RGB lighting, THX Spatial Audio, and on-board audio profiles. The fit is pleasant and lightweight and the clamping force is balanced. The ear cups swivel for a better fit and a smaller profile for storage. The RGB lighting, controlled by Razer Synapse, is customizable but the software can be resource-heavy and unstable. The sound quality of the Kraken V4 is good. The 40mm TriForce Titanium drivers deliver clear, rich audio with a good balance of bass, mids, and highs. Whether you're gaming, listening to music, or watching movies, the sound is immersive and detailed. The THX Spatial Audio feature enhances this experience by providing a surround sound effect, making it easier to pinpoint in-game sounds like footsteps or gunfire. Unfotunately, in what I believe is a rather cheap move it does require you to pay a seperate license. A 15 day trial is included to try it out to see if it's worth it or not. The microphone is flexible and retractable, providing usable but not partiuclarly good. You can mess with the software and make it a little better, but the voice sounds like it's coming from a tin can. It's usable for gameplay, but if you want to record gameplay commentary or use it for streaming or vlogs, you'll be much better served with a better, seperate microphone. Overall, the Kraken V4 boasts a sleek, stylish, and comfortable design, with easily customizable audio and RGB settings. The microphone quality is up to par for game communication, but is lacking for any other use. It offers multiple connectivity options for different platforms (though stay clear if you want to use it on an Xbox; it's not compatible) delivering very good sound quality with its 40mm drivers and offers impressive battery life, making it a good choice for gaming despite some software quirks.
