Great headset! Sounds fantastic, super clear microphone, and they’re really comfy.

These headphones are super comfortable for long-time use! I work from home and listen to music all day while I work. I also use them for gaming in my free time, so I wear these a lot. They never hurt my ears or my head, even while wearing glasses. I love these! The mic quality is also really great, and I love that the mic retracts into the headset. The packaging when opening the box is also very professional. I'm really happy with this purchase!

I wish I had 4.5 stars as an option. Although this is an exceptional headset from Razer, it's just a hair under 5 stars for me. The pros: Really powerful sound, with a good balanced range. The bass is deep but not overpowering, and likewise on the other spectrum the highs are crisp. A really powerful 50mm driver and 7.1 surround system adds to your experience of gaming, streaming, music, whatever. Also, the built in microphone that can be retracted into the earpiece itself is a nice design. There is also volume/mute controls on the wire for easy access those functions. The only con I have is that there is not much noise cancellation. That said, Razer does not advertise this product as having active noise cancellation. I guess I just hoped for more in over-the-ear headphones. Overall, for the price of these headphones you cannot go wrong. I recommend them.

I’ve used only this headset for years now and it works very well. There’s better out there but it’s a good starter or some good reliable headphones to choose if you don’t want to do some research on headphones. They also have deals within Best Buy and Amazon often to get them cheaper.

My fiance uses it and says it is comfortable and sound quality is fairly good.

Looking for a decent headset for your kids that won't break the bank if they break it? These RAZR Krakens are for you! Price is still a bit high since the white ones are only 49.99 but I can't complain. My niece loves them (14 years old). They're comfortable after long hours of play and best of all they sound great! Playing Fortnite on her Switch she says she can hear people creeping in from behind and bullets sound like they fly all around her. I can't complain with that! I like how the TRRS plug can be used for multiple devices like her tablet and phone. But can also be used on her laptop or other desktops around the house using the Y splitter that came with it. It's nice I didn't have to buy a separate one to split the microphone line from the audio lines when using an old fashioned laptop/pc. On the PC use the software because it really does help enhance the stereo sound to 7.1 surround, I've used a lot of emulated headsets before and were never impressed but I can say RAZR did a great job on this one. You won't be disappointed if you plan to use these for yourself. Your responsible kids/tweens/teens and everything in between will love you for them!

How you view the Kraken depends very much on your experience with other headsets and what you've come to expect at this price point. I ordered mine after the ~$100 Logitech G Pro I ordered before it was DOA. The Kraken looks better and is lighter than the G Pro while costing less, but also feels less solid and the earphones don't seal as well. Relative to the nightmare reviews most <$200 game headsets have, the Kraken it outstanding. However, compared to the Sony studio monitor headphones I'm more used to, they fall a bit short on fit and can't be compactly stored. Pros: - Excellent, present sound - Retractable, articulated mic - Thin, non-tangly audio cable - Light - Not tight on your head = excellent for long sessions - Excellent documentation - Simple, understated design that won't embarrass you in professional settings Cons: - The earphones will literally double the size of your head - The most natural fit position doesn't seal perfectly; you have to move it forward slightly - Slightly looser than expected fit - Don't fold up for storage, so they take up a lot of space when not in use - No swivel (vertical axis rotation) means the earphones won't adjust to the contours of your head Successfully personally tested on: Xbox Series X, Xbox One S, and Dell Latitude laptop. Given my awful experience with the more expensive G Pro I really want to give the Kraken 5 stars, but unfortunately the less than perfect fit knocks a star off.

My daughter is not a fan of pink. Also she is very picky when it comes to some things. I was a bit skeptical about getting her this headset. I figured the fact that it was Razer it should be okay. Fantastic. She likes her new headset. She thought the color was cool and once she heard them she was even more committed. She uses them all the time and so far still working well and sounding great.
