Great mouse for both gaming & work!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a a few weeks I was back and forth between the Naga Epic and Chroma. Yes there is a large price difference but it's totally worth the extra buy. I will admit though part of me loves the fancy color changes the mouse will go through as you play but onto to more important features. From a gaming perspective I play MMO specifically Star Wars The Old Republic. I was looking for a way to help improve my overall game and this mouse was the answer. With the newer models there is no longer the switch on the bottom that many people talk about in the tutorials out there. Instead they allow for you to do all your programming through the Synapse software which has endless configurations. So a big question that I had when looking for a mouse and I hope this helps any others with it, that yes you can easily program the mouse buttons and still use the for example 1-4 or whatever it is you prefer. So to wrap it gaming portion if you are looking for a way to improve your game or you'r just sick of moving your left hand all over the place and want to control all from your mouse this is a great buy for that! Now I have been working in IT for several years now so I am familiar with hot keys that windows has but sometimes I feel lazy and don't want to do finger gymnastics. Using this mouse you can program it to a TON of things from opening new tabs, close tabs, open programs, or even empty recycle bin. This can all be done with your right hand just pushing a few buttons. Now grant it I will admit this does take a little bit more advanced knowledge to setup but there are a ton of great walk through s as well if you need assistance out there. So overall I would say if you play MMOs and currently use just a generic keyboard and mouse you are doing to much work. The mouse is a great buy and great addition for any MMO gamer and individual looking to play around with programming it to increase work productivity. I hope this helps anyone out there who is in the market who may be debating it or someone who is looking at it for the first time.

Loses the ability to function properly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending a huge amount of time playing games ranging from Dota 2, World of Warcraft, The Division and OverWatch to name a few I found in the beginning that this product I rather enjoyed but over time I started to find some negative things about it starting with the mouse wheel button I feel that it's too loose or sensitive everytime I try to press it I end up scrolling which resulted in some pretty disappointing deaths and a month into using the product I found that I lost the ability to move vertically in the game which can be very frustrating, checking the product to see if there was any damage and finding none I unplugged and plugged in the USB which temporarily fixed it because the issue would occur again within a few minutes and for the amount of money I spent on this product I feel that a simple $20 Mouse would have been more effective also the rubber padding used for gripping the mouse I feel that it was basic at best because I kept losing my grip and the mouse kept slipping from my hand which made using the 12 programmable buttons next to impossible to use and pointless at this point, all in all I found this product a disappointment and would look elsewhere.

Pricey, but worth it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a replacement for my Naga Epic. The lighting on it went out after a year and a half, and thanks to BestBuys awesome Geek Squad Protection, I was given credit towards another one. So, I decided to go with this guy, as it was the closest they had to the Naga Epic. I paid about $20 for this, from the difference in the models prices. Let me say, if I was in the market for a new Mouse, and wasnt replacing one with credit, I probably would choose this even if I had to pay full price. The mouse feels great in the hands, and I have some pretty large meaty hands, and this feels perfect. Its incredibly comfortable, and doesnt cause you to hyper extend any part of your hand or wrist. So long research or gaming sessions dont make your arm feel like its going to fall off or get numb. This model also has a huge upgrade on the wireless sensor/charging cradle. It has a rubber grip on it, causing it to stay firmly planted and not move around or fall off your desk like the Naga Epics one did all the time. This model also sits much more snug in the cradle as well. The other impressive thing is the build quality, it just feels of quality. You pick it up and you just know this thing was $100+. Overall, I am very happy with this mouse, and I think Razer has out done themselves once again. In my opinion Razer has a pretty huge quality gap. Their lower stuff feels like plastic toys and their higher end stuff feels like great quality stuff that usually feels like they should cost alot more than what they ask at times. I am glad this mouse is apart of the later. If you have $100 ready to go for a great piece of PC accessory hardware, I highly recommend this guy.

Naga 2014 was better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse doesn’t have the index finger buttons that would allow me to easily go back to a previous page on the internet. Or the button to go forward to a page that I was on but went back to look at somethings. I now have to macro my keyboard to get a lesser degree of the same result and it is inconvenient. Otherwise the naga is great for mmo’s.

To much for my needs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is well built and problem a good design for those who want all the programming features. It also automatically assigned weapons to your quick keys which was nice. This was just too much for my needs... Otherwise I would recommend to a hard core gamer

Constant issues.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this mouse. I went from a Logitech to this Razer and almost instantly had issues. It loses tracking constantly. It may function for a few days then I have to recalibrate because the lift sensativity goes whacky or the x-axis goes completely dead. Just now I had to recalibrate because the mouse does not go left on the x-axis. I ended up getting a replacement through Razer within about a month and it has the same issues. They would not permit me a second replacement... Until Razer can improve their quality, I can't recommend and likely won't be purchasing Razer products.

Dead after 3 days of use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Naga Chroma mouse from Razer became unresponsive after use. I tried everything suggested on the Internet: -- Turning off "Turn off device to save power" (even though I'm a desktop user.) -- No firmware updates, so I cannot update its firmware. -- Unplugging it for a while and re-plugging it back in. -- Reinstalling drivers (this isn't an issue anyway, since the mouse is unresponsive even before the user logs in (IE: Mouse-enabled BIOS), so it's a hardware-side issue.) The mouse is also incompatible with USB 2.0 ports, even though USB 3.0 devices should be backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports.

Razer's quality control has gone downhill.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to LOVE Razer products. My husband, for example, had the original Razer Naga for 7 years before the cord finally went out. Now? You'd be lucky to hold on to one for a year. I've swapped all my gaming peripherals over to Corsair because every Razer product we own has crapped out within a few months of moderate usage (3-4 hours a day at most). Want to get more bang for your buck with a product that actually lasts and a company with real customer service? Go to Corsair.
