I had opened the box and right away i noticed this would be a improvement from my wireless mouse. I plugged it in and had moved it around and its glide was really smooth. I noticed it would help me get better at MOBA games.

Almost perfect, but one terrible flaw...

Purchased the Epic Chroma from Razerzone since most other places haven't received their shipments yet. The Razer Naga Epic Chroma was my first Razer mouse. Been using Logitech most of my life. I've been using the G700 for years, but have been playing more and more MMO's and wanted an MMO mouse for the extra buttons. When the Naga Epic Chroma was announced, I was excited to try it out. Boy was I disappointed. I even went and purchased a G600 for comparison the same day I received my Epic Chroma. PRO's: - Feels great in the hand. Feels a little lighter than the G600. - Love the tactile feedback of the buttons compared to the G600. - Love the long 20-hour battery life, and that it can be either wired or wireless. Also like the included charging dock as well. The G600 is only wired (sad face). CON's: - The Naga Epic Chroma doesn't have a "G-Shift" button for accessing a second set of programmed buttons like the G600. Meaning that while holding down the G-Shift button, all other buttons can be programmed for a second task. Meaning the 12 buttons on the side can be turned into a 24-button keypad. THE DEALBREAKER: - The dealbreaker for me, and the reason for sending the mouse back is that even though I have mouse acceleration turned off in Synapse (Razer Software) and in Control Panel, the mouse still exhibits acceleration. More research found that most Razer mice have "Dynamic DPI Scaling" which cannot be disabled. What this "Dynamic DPI Scaling" does is when you make slower mouse movements, it turns the DPI down so you actually have to move the mouse more than normal. I've always had a 1:1 mouse movement with all previous mice, but Razer mice cannot have 1:1 movement when they keep forcing "Dynamic DPI Scaling" with no option to disable it. A quick Google search of "Razer Dynamic DPI Scaling" will return many results, and also show that Razer has been contacted numerous times over the years to give us an option to disable it. They have yet to comply with a very simple request. Forced acceleration.... if it weren't for that, I'd be keeping the mouse since I love just about every other aspect of it. So, if you don't think you can handle forced acceleration, you may want to take a pass on Razer products. I'll be sticking with the G600 for the foreseeable future...

Knowing Razer as being a very successful and great company for gaming hardware, I bought this mouse thinking it would be a great investment. I was a bit disappointed. I have a hard time gripping the mouse, seeing as it is very bulky and overall large. Maybe this is because I have big hands, but I've heard of other people experiencing the same issue. Also, at times the mouse will glitch out, and my cursor will start jumping all over the screen, from left to right, top to bottom. Really something you can't afford happening in the middle of a game.

I've been a Razer user for a few years from Keyboards to headsets. I loved my house until the number 2 stopped working. I returned it for a new one using my 2yr warranty and the second ones number 1 went out within the next couple of weeks. Returned that one and the next ones sensor went out. I use my mouse for WoW and school and I don't treat them rough. I'm highly disappointed with the quality of the mice but I will say the Keyboard and headset still work great!

Sorry I can not give a good review of this product due to having had 3 of the same item and breaking on the left clicker same place 3 times. But I can say this Naga is a great super Company to purchase products from , seems like it was just my constant game play that this mouse couldn't handle. Also made sure I never abused it . Just kept breaking .

Best mouse I've ever had, until yesterday

I had a great time using the product. In fact, it was my favorite mouse that I've ever used. And then, all of a sudden it just stopped working. At first I received a few errors from the computer that the device (my razer naga) could not be recognized. Then it stopped turning on at all. I was lucky to have another mouse I could use because otherwise my broken naga would've made my pc useless.

This mouse is NOT REALLY WIRELESS

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This mouse is wireless in the same way that DSL is "high speed" internet. There is no USB receiver that plugs into your device; instead, the recharging dock is what servers as the receiver, which given the fact that it's rather weighty and has to be plugged into a long cord, doesn't really qualify as wireless, in my opinion. It wasn't okay in 2005 with a $30 Microsoft keyboard and mouse, let alone in 2014 for $120. The dock has a longer cord and is larger and more cumbersome than just about any other mouse. You're basically plugging in one mouse to be able to use another one wirelessly. That's ridiculous. Additionally, the ergonomics are terrible. Each of the grips seems to be in between comfortable use for however many additional fingers it's designed for you to be able to rest on it. Go up a size, and there's a spot for your ring finger, and then a jutting remainder that pushes your pinkie out. And the third strike that made this absolutely the worst "wireless" mouse I've ever purchased, you can't even configure the buttons without signing up for a Razer Synapse account--which is ostensibly to sync your settings across devices. I don't want to have to go through a sign-up process and create an account to give one of the 12 buttons back/forward functionality in Windows that every 4 or 5 button mouse has had since 1998. That's insane. Each of those three pieces alone is bordering on being a deal breaker, but basically no part of this mouse is comfortable, easy to use, or what it says it is. I've had a lot of luck with and a lot of love for my DeathAdder, but this is one of the most poorly conceived and designed computer peripherals I've ever had the misfortune of purchasing.
