Mouse was easy to setup, software was intuitive and easy to use. Just like my old 2012 version but built and tuned for a new age and standard. If you play any kind of mmo or game that requires repetitive key combos this mouse is the perfect companion with its 12 hockey's. I use it a ton for diablo, civ etc

Awesome mouse, fits very well in my hand and i have larger than average hands. Switching out the side plates is very easy and quick, you can do it mid game if you want to. The software it comes with is a little weird but you'll get the hang of it.

Purchased to replace an older 2014 edition Naga that was failing. Still very comfortable and responsive. I’ve primarily used the 12 button side plate but it’s easy to switch to one of the other 2. I’ve using a Naga as a daily mouse for over 10 years and it continues to be irreplaceable for me.

So I've been taking risks lately trying out different brand of mice aside from Logitech. This was my first Razer product I ever purchased and was honestly super excited for it. First the obvious feature of the interchangeable side plates, it's an awesome feature. I'm very experimental when it comes to gaming and how I game (I get bored using the same method/tool for so long) so switching out the side plates to implement different play styles was a fun experience. Performance the mouse was reliable in tracking and responsiveness. However I been really into the wireless class of mice and having a wire on this mouse did add a bit of a dilemma. The main factor of why I ended returning this mouse though was the size. It's extremely wide and unnecessarily in my opinion, I could never find a comfortable grip for this matter. Also the right click was extremely sensitive to click, to the point it made me feel like I had a heavy middle finger as I could never just let it relax over the click. It's more personal preference with this mouse and I'm glad I tried it out, or I would've always wondered.

I wanted to try out an MMO-style gaming mouse with a number grid on the side like the Naga or the Corsair Scimitar but I was worried about investing in it and not liking it. Enter the Trinity, where I could swap out to the 7-button MOBA plate, or the traditional side buttons more suited for FPS games. It's a great feeling mouse but it is a little weird to try to grip it to lift it when using the number grid on the side but with some finesse, it can be done. It took some getting used to using the number grid for WoW but now that I have it's very convenient and I have to rely much less on combinations of keys with my left hand, making it easier to move while using abilities. Another drawback that I didn't realize was that the grid of keys on the side, or on the MOBA panel, these keys cannot be labeled as their own distinct keys (something like Mouse4 to Mouse16, for instance) but can only be mapped to other functions on the keyboard or macros using the Synapse software. I was able to make this work well for me but beware that if you map it 1 to = then you'll get the same result as if you pressed these on your keyboard. I think the other MMO mice by other brands act the same way, so this isn't a unique problem to the Trinity, but it's just something to be aware of. I ended up use F1 through F12 and I've seen others use the Numpad keys. Anyway, easy to use software, great feeling ergonomics, versatile options, and oo pretty colors.

Definitely a mouse worth buying if you play any kind of MMO. I cannot do anything without this mouse! I loved my mouse at home so much that I got another at work because it is so comfortable and the accessibility of multiple multi-button panels is a life changer!

Finally pulled the trigger and upgraded to this after having the original naga for years. Was extremely worth. Didn't expect to be using the other options other than the 12 button grid but the ease of switching them is amazing. Easy to switch between profiles and dpi. Highly recommend.

I used the circle 7 button side. For my use the circle is to wide and nothing to raise the thumb for ease of rocking from button to button, the 6 buttons on the old naga were perfect. Gave it to my son and he likes the 12 button setup. The reaction of the mouse is quick and it fits the hand just right. Like most Razer products it's built with gamers in mind.

For gamers a must. The twelve button on the side are so easy to use as the thumb seems to fall effortlessly on the buttons system that allows you to program their game function. I have worn two out as once you get used to this mouse you will never want to use another.

I have been using Razer mice almost exclusively for awhile now (6+ years). Had a Deathadder that has been working great for over 5-6 years now. Decided to upgrade to the Hex button mouse, though was no longer being sold. Though this has since replaced it. I have not tried the 12 button plate, as I feel my thumb would not be precise enough (i.e. Fat thumb). The other two plates have worked great, are easy to swap out without any issue as a magnet is used to hold them. Neither has popped off when picking up the mouse and dropping it down during gameplay. The Chroma lighting is neat, though not something I really pay attention to. I did play around with it in synapse, but don't actually pay enough attention to the mouse to use it (And it is kinda hard to see when your hand is covering the lighted parts). Overall, a great replacement to my aging and still functional deathadder mouse.

The seven button layout is much better on this one than the other newer naga models which only have six buttons IMHO. I still feel the difference between wireless and wired as I play faster paced games so I opt for wired mice as of the date of this review. Don’t have to worry about battery dying either.
