Great options but uncomfortable for small hands
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the previous edition of this product and after it went to double-click hell, I decided to stick with the same but get this newer model. The customization options for lighting were a nice touch and of course having 12 buttons on the side makes it great for MMOs. It also comes with additional side panels! My only complaint is that it's just slightly bigger than the older model but enough so that it's a little uncomfortable for my hand.

Professional Plug & Play Mouse!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After testing out multiple MMO gaming mouses all the way ranging from SteelSeries, Corsair , Logitech to Razer. I can by far say that Razer knows what they are doing when it comes to gaming mouses. The Razer Trinity is a nice edition to the MMO mouse lineup. The Razer Trinity is very plug & play, and you can re-keybind both DPI buttons to mouse 4 & Mouse 5 if needed. You can basically customize the Razer Trinity to however you want it configured when it comes to keybinding. The DPI speeds are solid, and the laser reads very well on any surface. The Razer Trinity's scroll wheel does in fact move from side-to-side or press down when clicking on the wheel itself. This alone is a very good feature that if I recall, they took out of other MMO mouse's. This is the only MMO mouse you need for MMO's... I've hit gladiator 8x on World of Warcraft using Razer MMO mouses for the longest time now. As long as you take care of the mouse and clean the mouse each month. It will last you for a VERY long time. As they say, take care of your stuff and your stuff shall take care of you in return! If you've read this full review, you know you want to pick one up and try it out!

Great Versatility
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've previously used a Razer Naga for MMOs and with this new version, the versatility of the side button replacements, along with the mechanical buttons, is a great improvement. The mouse is a little wider than I anticipated on the right side. For my personal grip it's ok, but I can see where it may be bulky for some hands or grip types. Razer has gotten better with their Synapse software and adjusting settings was easy.

Good Mouse, Subpar software
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I have previously used a Razer Naga prior to trying out the Trinity. The major change, of course, is the addition of the interchangeable side panels and some other ergonomics. The Naga Trinity is a pretty good mouse, but it's not really first my pick as far as MMO mice goes. It easily glides across a hard surface mouse pad and the laser seems exceptionally sensitive; which can be both good and bad. The LMB and RMB clicks are nice and solid and the wheel is satisfying. The buttons on the two button and six button panels are quite nice and responsive, but the 12 button panel on mine was a bit mushy and it made it difficult to discern if I was actually pressing the button some times; it does not have the same nice tactile feel that the primary competitors have. The major reason I returned this mouse is because Razer Synapse is quite possibly one of the most non-user friendly pieces of software I have ever used. What is intuitive and easy to figure out on Corsair CUE and Logitech Gaming software is a daunting task on Synapse. Even when you know how to do it, such as setting automatic profiles and independent macros and lighting for those profiles, it's still pointlessly convoluted compared to the competition. There is also supposed to be an on-screen notification when you change profiles or adjust your DPI, but in my experience, this was wonky and couldn't decide if it wanted to actually work. Not a big deal, but I still found it curious that Synapse just decided it would work some times, then stop working. So, mechanically the Naga Trinity seems fine, but I'm not a fan of the Synapse software. If you're already in the Razer environment, it's a great mouse with a lot of convenient options. If you're new to gaming mice, it's a great option, but expect a learning curve and some frustration with the software.

To big
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my sister who has the 2012 naga that the side is replaceable. However, this mouse was slightly larger then that one which was too large for her to use. The switch out the buttons was nice but she prefers to switch the other side to make it comfortable for her hand. The quality and packaging is very good like all Razer products are. I am returning to get something else.

Great mouse for bigger hands
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been looking for just the right mouse for me. My hands are bigger so it’s been a pain to find a mouse that works for me. I was very unsure of this one but have bought other razor products and was amazed from the quality. So tried it out. After about 2 thousand hours of gaming I can officially say I found my mouse

Replaced my old Razer Naga with this
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Standard Razer gear. Very nice but a tad overpriced. I bought this to update my Razer Naga. I like the interchangeable sides but I’m still getting used to them. I like that it works with the new version of the Razer software. I did not like having to reprogram everything as you cannot move your version two profiles over to the new software, version three of Synapse. Once I got used to it, I do feel that the Synapse version three is easier to set up and build macros with. I am not totally sure if it’s my imagination or not but it does appear that the buttons on the side of the mouse appear to be a little easier to identify. Overall I really like and can recommend.

Great gaming mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prefect gaming mouse for my playing style and hand-size. It's slightly lighter that I would like, but I'm getting used to it. Being able to switch the side buttons for different game types is a great feature and my my primary buying motivation - very happy with this feature. Very expensive for what it is, buying based on previous success with the brand.
