One of the best razer mice for extra buttons

I need more than 2 side buttons, but 12 is to many. The option to use the circular button wheel with only 7 buttons is perfect and also reduces the chances of accidently clicking a button with my thumb.

Will change how you operate your PC forever.

I bought my first 12 button mouse from Razer to play World of Warcraft a decade or two ago, and I have never gone back to playing games on my PC without the convenience of these 12 keys again. After a brief stint trying out other brands (Corsair seems to use cheap parts, my left click mechanism failed shortly after purchase), I can now safely say from experience that this is the best mouse I have ever purchased in terms of how it directly effected my reaction times in gameplay as well as quality of its production and comfort in use. I am currently waiting for the overnight shipment of my third Razer mouse now, and I cannot wait to be able to left click reliably again. Buy the mouse and change how you play, or strain every finger you have til the pain sets in when you get to be my age. :D

    Great for work too!

I do a lot of database and scheduling for work and decided to pick up this mouse because it was on sale, came recommended by the Best Buy rep and was on sale. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it's changed the way I do work now. I've only used the 7-button face, I decided to practice on that one before upgrading to the 12-button. The on-board profiles are great because I can have a map for Excel, Access, and my scheduling software. If it's got a hotkey or key combination to get there it can be mapped, and it's awesome. The Synapse 3 software is a little tough at times but once you get a little practice its very helpful. The faceplates fit well in the pencil pockets in my computer bag--the only thing I wish it had was if it were wireless. Would I pay $100 for it? I don't know. Would I ask if my company would be able to expense it? Oh yeah. Gamer mice can be used for good too!

The connection wasnt working on my computer causing the mouse to lag, as well as the mouse was pretty heavy than what im used to. I bought this to help switch out my weapon slots on fortnite but the heaviness of the mouse made if very difficult to play.

Fast shipping. Only bought this because the number pad on the mouse was messing up. The 2 button randomly input all the time. Good mouse but it has some long term tech issues.

This mouse is great for MMORPG games fps games it is too heavy in my opinion the sensor is great and very accurate one major thing I don't like is software it is sometimes buggy. If you play Fortnite or WOW or LOL games like that this is perfect for you.

Excellent customization options with the face plate that magnetically just pops on/off. Been using Razer for years now and older models are still running strong.

My previous naga had to be replaced after 10 years of gaming! Although slightly different in feel, this new version is performing well! This is a spectacular gaming mouse!

I have been using Razer for about 4 years now and the Naga has been my go to choice. When I saw they had created an updated model of the base Naga which provided with three plates on the side perfect for MMOs like WoW classic, MOBAs like LoL, and even just a standard two buttons when you only need a couple extra buttons beside the 4 extra found just by the mouse wheel. Otherwise this mouse is one of my favorite mice I have used and wouldn't want to change it in the world.

A great mouse, except that the left and right top buttons wore out after about a year. I replace it with the Naga v2 Hyperspeed, but while that one has better quality buttons, the other features aren't as nice as the Trinity.

I saw this mouse initially and was slightly skeptical because I didn't know how swapping the side piece would be. After I received the mouse I saw it was very easy to swap the side plates. I primarily play MMOs and use the 12 button side and occasionally play shooters and use the standard side. While playing the shooters I prefer the feel of something like the Deathadder, but it still works very well. Overall a good mouse and interesting execution.

    Great mouse/Weird texture

The buttons feel great on this mouse. They have a very satisfying click. Synapse 3.0 is also very fluid and easy to use. My only issue is the texture on the mouse. When using the 12 button side grid, the mouse is very slippery.

Synapse software makes this a bit disappointing.

So I had a Naga 2014 that's starting to die & I'm in need of a new one. I was looking at the Corsair Scimitar & Logitech G600. I decided to go the Naga due to my positive experience with the 2014 version as well as thinking I could import the software profiles I had created on Synapse. I was so disappointed to find out the new Synapse software which, IS CURRENTLY IN BETA, CAN NOT, import those profiles so I need to set them ALL. OVER. AGAIN. REPEAT: you can't import your cloud or local Synapse profiles to the new Synapse software. To make matters worse, I use this mouse primarily for working with Autodesk Maya, Photoshop & Unity3D. Maya has a ton of keyboard shortcuts, one of which is the keyboard shortcut combo, CTRL + ALT (for select zoom). The current Synapse will not allow for this keyboard shortcut combo. New Nagas are using optical rather than laser sensors, but so far no issues & everything has been smooth. Not sure about quality yet since I just got this today. Had I known the new Synapse software won't import old profiles, I would have bought the Logitech G600. Quite frankly, I'm thinking about exchanging this.

12 button pad makes MMOs like FFXIV a snap. Say goodbye to ancient memes like the keyboard's number keys, this mouse will send them to the Shadow Realm!

OK mouse... Bad software... Short lifespan

Bought the mouse back in January, spent a good 3 hours setting it up in contact with Razer support just to get the Synapse software to recognize it (Took 3 full re installations to finally work). The mouse worked great for a while, pretty much what you would expect. The swap-able side panels are nice, and haven't had issues with swapping or the magnets used to hold them in place. That all works just fine. About a month ago tho (~4 months after purchasing) the mouse started occasionally double clicking, and as of this morning it became basically unusable if you needed to single click or click and drag anything. For the price of the mouse, I was definitely expecting it to last longer than 5 months. The synapse software left much to be desired as well. The updates were constant and annoying, and it would launch the synapse window randomly when an update was available. Also, Razer does not have stand-alone drivers for this mouse. You have to download the entire synapse suite, which the only version compatible with this mouse is still in beta. So overall... Very disappointed with the software, and the hardware worked well but didn't last long at all (Dead in 5 months). Wouldn't recommend this mouse at all.
